DayZ (a free mod to Arma 2) is better even in it's current buggy form than this cash-grab. Arma engine is a nasty beast to rustle. However when you understand how stuff works, it's just fine and does what you expect.

All the comparisons between a FREE MOD and an actually released game are ridiculous beyond belief, especially when you see how WarZ was only made to cash-in on DayZ success. They were not developing this game before DayZ success, they only re-hashed older stuff they made to get in the cashlines. They're so full of crap it's unbelievable.

I've never in my life seen a bigger cash-grab than this, even Funcom's AOC pales in comparison.

This game deserves every single bit of critique it gets. Their crew is terrible at what they do, even the community manager whining how his brand new 2012 Dodge Challenger blew a tire in a desert during his Vegas trip makes me hate them even more. Community manager with that kind of money? All from a game that is by all standards shit and worse than a free mod? Yeah, I hate them and would never ever buy from them or defend them, like some here seem to do. Cut your losses and admit facts.

 Which is bullshit since my account is there for ages and even after I changed my forums password I was able to login normally.

Not to mention that the game always gives me the Authentication Error Code (14) even my password is correct and my account is clearly active.

Funny and at the same time frustrating thing, it brings up the "Cancel or Account Management" and when I click on account management I can normaly use my password to login there and see that everything is alright.

I made a screenshot and sent it to them explaining the situation over a week ago.

Never got any replies (I checked my junk mail too).

So I have a activated account that doesn't let me to enter the game nor lets me post or reply in their forums.

Their live chat is always "unavailable at this time" and their support doesn't give a crap about the tickets they get.

Really saddening in my opinion and I think the best option will be to just uninstall the game and be done with it.

VERY happy that I didn't selected the premium or I would probably have even more troubles.
 

Nice writeup of QQ. Sounds like you started off with the game on the wrong foot.. TERA have something going on now.. like a F2P offer or something, try that one out.

Good luck with your legitimate problem OP, I wouldn't get hopes up, though. Clearly the solution is the customer support, but hey.. that's just what it is. With the amount of cutbacks FC made, CS is even worse than ever before.

I applied to the Beta with my super-awesome Excellent scores! I'll probably buy the game either way, I've not been disappointed by this studio yet.

It's sort of a risk for them to go MMO. If they fail, people will remember it and it will affect sales all across the board.

I still hope my faith is well-placed, as I don't need another studio to hate, such as Funcom (who I want gone).

Personally don't even care if it's a cash grab, last time I spent money on a mmo was 2008. I'll spend some money on this after enjoying games like W.Gretzky Hockey 1-3 (1989-1993 or so), The Terminator, (need I say when?) Fallout 3, Skyrim and so on.

Don't care about the superb sandbox theory either, not one bit

I don't care what people say on this site (includes me to others), I'll keep my eye on things, that seem to be interesting to me. I think the hate wagon really starts after the game is released - see AoC, SWTOR, TSW and so on, some of them earn it, some don't.

Also I have to say your WoW example is pretty pitiful, and I'm actually waiting for TES:O with a beta app in.

What I want is to BE FORCED to work on even leveling my character. Additional workload to professions, exploration and such. I don't want to earn things quickly, it's actually ridiculous, but I want achieving anything to take time. I'm sure at this point I'll be pointed to chinese grinders, but that's really not what I want either. I don't want there's anything in a cash shop I can buy, that simplifies the work. I want to work ONLINE to advance my character, that includes levels, crafting materials, open world PvP, customization options etc.

Sad to bring WoW into this, but back in the day, you took your damn sweet time to even level. After that you took your sweet time to gear in PvE/PvP or both. There was always a carrot for doing something, like farming elementals for simple robe mats to upgrade from your dungeon blue. I don't want to buy those robes from a damn cash shop. I want to work on them.

Perhaps I've grown out of this genre after a decade+++, it seems these games aren't even close to what we had back in the day. In a way I'm happy to have been there when things took effort, but on the other hand I miss that time.

Actually, I can tell you exactly that. Know what you did in D2? Leveled up 2, maybe 3 active skills to spam during the entirety of your character's career. Most builds were in fact NAMED AFTER THE SKILL YOU'D SPAM (WW Barb, Frozen Orb Sorcie, etc). You put the rest of your skill points into 'filler' skills to move down the tree to what you wanted, and passives. To do otherwise was to completely gimp your character. D3 has great looking, great playing skills with a TON of options. Many runes completely change how a skill looks and works. Furthermore pretty much any build you can think of is completely viable. Optimal? No, but definitely viable. D3's skill system is incredibly deep and fun. You don't have to worry about investing too many points into a crappy skill and forcing a reroll, either.

BS. Just as a few an examples, a HC Sorc, there were plenty of specs available, not like in D3 where you go one way or YOU DIE. There were pure Blizzard Sorcs, Fire Sorcs with Fireball spam, Fire sorcs with Meteor/Hydra, Hybrids like Orb/Meteor Sorc (best for HC, if you want to be versatile), Meteor/Firewall. Lightning/CL sorcs also had their day and are viable even today. I question the fact you even know what Nova Sorcs were back in the day, because you just seem like a casual deadweight.

Also the simple fact they removed the ability to TELEPORT as you wish, if you have skill or runeword for it, is simply downgrading from 10 year old game.

You can go for your OMG ELECTION MODE all you want, fact is, there were more choices to be made with simple talent tree. And those choices carried much more weight than D3.

However you will still be full of crap. Insanely much so. I'd like to see people who created this abomination hanged. There's choice that's perceivable in D3, but in reality if you want to play on HC or on the top, there's less choice than in D2.

Also couldn't care less if your entire experience of Diablo 2 involves some softcore PvP (which seems pretty reasonable.). Your kind is the exact reason why this entire franchise was ruined beyond repair. Your kind has no clue WTF happens behind the "numbers" of you moving your (probably terrible char) to loot a simple chest.

D2 is so much more than your simplistic and wrong assumptions of a softcore hero, really, learn to play, is all I can say. You link me a 90 lvl+ hardcore character, then I'll listen/read your patthetic drivel.

I understand, that some softie would go all out on this game, A true Diablo player doesn't, and wouldn't.

I played Diablo 2 and it's expansion around 10 years myself, on hardcore of course. I actually still play it from time to time. It looks terrible, but the mechanics are much more to my liking still to this day.

I bought Diablo 3, like so many other suckers, played a few chars to cap on hardcore. It was painfully obvious to me, that the franchise I grew up with was just not made for me anymore. It's way too simplified in every way to please the masses.

I wish Blizzard would make Diablo 2 HD.

They shouldn't have even called this game Diablo. Then it'd be okay, but now it's a shallow turd. Oh, and bye Jay, I'll forever remember what you did.

For the record, I don't even live in USA. I'd prefer they'd made this kind of charity program to Africa, but I still bought the pet to help.

He had his part of the profit, and apparently a flat tire in the desert (driving his dodge challenger 2012, ie paid much money for shit), sadly he wasn't eaten by other coyotes like him. Apparently, as far as I know, he was in another car accident upon getting back home. What is there to learn here mr. nazikewk? He got paid heavily for this scam of a game. This "company" saw a $$$ factor there and they took it. They even dared to claim they had been devoloping this piece of shit before DayZ. It's a huge scam all around.

Seeing this Kewk guy moderate STEAM Forums, was really the last straw. How freaking much are you and your company afraid of showing the negatives of your game? Not only did your company lie to even get to Steam, your leader also dared to blame BUYERS FOR MISREADING. From what I see, this wasn't a greenlight project and it was just processed through normal steam measures.  It was majorly valve's fault for not seeing that what was listed as game features presented were not even close to what the game currently had.
