i don't trust these x fire polls.  not everyone uses them and i know i never do so i don't know how these are considered to be right.  maybe it should say aoc on x fire has hit an all time low.  a little more accurate?

i'm thinking about coming back to the game i'm just curious, what size is the pop right now and will it be around for awhile? i really liked the game and quick cuz of all the bugs and missing stuff asuming in a couple of months that they would get it turned around.  so my question is have they?

i think that all will gain a little or lose a little EXCEPT: AOC- big lose, unless the game gets turned around quickly the potential buyers of this during the holidays will either go to wowtlk or war cuz they are the newest AND WOW- new xpansion coming out always means a big attraction of players, but it could potentialy lose alot of players if the epack screws alot of things up or is nothing special.  my personal honest opinion

i would have to say invidia.  im not totally sure about your cards but the last couple of years invidia has had the edge in graphic cards over ati.  i run a nvidia card on war and it runs just fine.  on full too.  i have the 8600 GTS 512mb

from what i've seen darkfall looks a little better.  won't know until i get the game.  it really is not that big of an issue to me if the graphics arent bleeding edge.  i dont feel like sacrificing a virgin everytime i try to log in

i've petitioned twice. both for bugs.  the first time i petitioned the bug was corrected, the second one was today so in my experience they have done well addressing the pproblems ppl have been telling them.  in ur case that really does suck and idk what to tell you sorry.  all i really want them to do after fixing the bugs is balance those classes and get them and the cities in.  hopefully that would help keep some ppl stay and draw others in.  im just keeping my fingers crossed

ya i agree that alot or most new mmo's are following the eq and wow style and are therefore "vanilla". but at the same time i am having alot of fun of war and i am glad i picked it up.  it would be nice if companies would look outside the fantasy realm for information and make a different kind of mmo (coh/cov, eve, huxely if it comes out and delivers, etc.).  maybe even make a modern day mmo somehow. who knows.  also maybe trying to spice up the combat system somehow

blizzard made it, so you know it is gonna be pretty good.

as mentioned the 5.5 million chinese players.  this is one of the biggest reasons that it is so far up and away in the sub numbers(even tho they would still be number one without them).

word of mouth, got around that it was a good game that any human could play so it prolly brought those in who previously did not want anything to do with mmo's

for me personaly it is darkfall. It looks like alot of fun to me i just hope it comes out sometime.  also huxely cuz i wanna play a mmofps.  but that will never come out. . . . . . ever

wait im sorry did you say that mmo's dont have to be fun but must make a person suffer?  maybe i'm reading what you said wrong but the reason i play videogames, any tye of videogames, is to have fun.  i have a bunch of things that torture me in real life and i do not need my videogames to add to that.  but maybe im reading you wrong

also if they were all 50 dollars that would kinda suck even though they will most likely be worht it.  it just remember how fun the first game was

the only thing i'm worried about is how long it will take them to come out with the next part of the game.  at first this really pised me off but the more i'm thinking about it it really doesnt bother me IF they can get the other parts out in like 4 to 8 months.  I dont want to wait a year for them to come out with the next part.  but at least the terran campaign is coming out first (yes!!!)
