Devonas rest has a lot of chatter. i just spent 4 hrs running through the brisbans wildlands because someone was allways hollering " so and so or such and such is up." i hit almost all the dynamic events through with medium group of players out side of a group. but its not a eu server... |

Good review. From where i'm sitting i think the social score was a bit high. More like 7... The rest is... debatable. I've had a lot of fun already and I already got 60 dollars of playtime out of it. So i'll be logging back in shortly....

Everyone else gets to wear armour they like..." ties in with subject.... i would think this would be possible some how with gw2s trasmution stones system (i don't code or make mmos for a living though.

So got to play last weekend... I enjoyed myself emminsly Crafting: i just got started and i like it. A bit in depth and grindy but it feels different somehow. Dynamic events: no diffenrt than those public quest in warhammer. i like them though Quest hubs: you just go to an area and a heart pops up and you know what to do. Want to know more? Go see the n.p.c. with the heart over his/her head. the rest of it same as any game: you either like it or you don't. So far I do i have 2 ploblems in game: 1. no trinity a. The good: no trinity... The reason this is good has been listed round here bout a million times i'm not an echo. At least those pro healers out there are not going to have any more "yes i know i pulled 324 mobs, and i'm aware i ran out of your line of sight and while doing so dropped off 123 of those mobs onto the ranged dps while simutansiosly picking up 306 more mobs, but i died and thats your fault"... kind of days... b. The bad: no trinity... Theres no healer... I'm having to sacrifice dps for self/group support skills.. In the dynamic events or the world in general every one runs in and gets after it. (this is ok) Only it seems to me everyones doing the same thing. Even though we may be different classes. Maybe as I progress and i and those around me get better i'll like it more. Time will tell... 2. The graphics a. The good: You've seen the screens/played the game you either like it or you don't. i did b. The bad: Combat animations Dude and Dudetts i play an Asura and man when its time to lay it down we are all up in there and people... Its pretty. I mean there are fireballs rainging down, Barrage arrow animations/ poision traps/ spike traps/healingcircles/electcical spells/spirit spells/ necro spells... It is going off, up on this here screen. Those Inquest techinitions just messed around with the wrong Krewe... Then all of a sudden my heath bar is dissappearing and i'm like whats hitting me? Where am i? "tab target that thing"... Did i target the right one? Healing spring!! Where the hells that blasted healer? Wait oh yeah,no healers.. DODGE! I have DODGE!! you dufus!! "tap tap" ah ha!! there i am i just back flipped out of the w- wait the human that was in front of me got behind me and i back flipped into his chest and landed in the same place? i think? Who keeps throwing the fireballs i cain't see cr- what do you mean fight for my life? What the hell you think i been do- I died? Now just hold on a cotten picken minute... |

My problem turned out to be something with the DPI setting I had. I had to disable high DPI setting in the program files. i found the answer here: http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57345 Sorry i don't know how to make it link but it has a lot of info in it for anyone having problems...

lets see... I have installed and patched it no problems. Once i hit the play button on the bottom of the patcher it tries to launch and then nothing. No errors, no blue screen, no black screen, just nothing. I also didn't find the user folder that Nibathy was talking about. I.E if you want a tank but you also want one good healing spell or a necromancy spell or maybe a fire/water spell or a good dps skill you pick that skill without geting a nerf with it because your a tank. Or an alchemist skill that allows you to craft potions that work for you. - whatever it is you want... 3) fix the mechanics of the game so my "twitch" skill with my weapon or a paticular spell dictates how much damage is done. i usually play rangers or hunters so i know how to make this work for ranged attacks, you use some sort of aiming system. one that makes the player take wind terrian and distance into account when trying to hit your target. - i'm not sure how you would do this for melee skills or spell casting though. if anyone could give me an idea on this last one i would appriciate it... |

i always play females. for the same reason already listed - if i got to stare at a butt al day it might as well be one i enjoy looking at. As for names i try to make the first name for my characters reflect what they are. The last name (if avalible) is always Winters, because the name of the guild i belong to is called Winters Knights... Ranger or hunter = Nature or Feather Winters Necro or undead = Dark or lifeless Winters Warrior = Gina Winters (Zena is always being used LOL) Ele or mage = depends on what school of majic but Freezing Winters or a name that means Fire usually healer = Healing Winters in requim = Nightmare Winters and in any game if availble i'll use Lyssa Winters (name of one of the Gods in G.W.) so on and so forth. Some where up above it says i'm a cross dresser... oh well been called worse,... normally right after i miss a heal mmmm, maybe that was more info than needed...
