HZ was a great game, I've never had a high end PC and yet never had any type of problems running this game.  I liked the look and feel of this game from the get go, it had very good graphics when it first came out, and however many years later still looked fine.  It had lots of races to choose from, all of which I think were quite well done, and very diverse.

The world was large, but they did so many things right with it.  They had the areas where the WA were taking over and make it a living world.  More of a living world MMO and any I have seen before or since. 

One problem maybe have been the way the mobs spawned...Where you'd have to go to an area and wait in that area before the mobs would start spawning, then they'd spanw (about a dozen or so) right on top of ya...lol.

The character progression was wonderful in this game, you could be ANYTHING. 

I don't know why but this is never going to be known to the masses, but the loss of this game is a silent loss of a great chance for MMO's.

I hope someone makes a game EXCATLY like this, because it was a great game...and I don't know why it never took off.  I guess word of mouth can be a killer, because this great chance...never got one.

Oh and btw...movement speed increase on the roads is pure genius...why all games don't do this is unbeknowst to me.

I just saw the game play video and I am quite impressed with it, along with how the game looks...as comparied to the last time I looked at some screenshots.

This game has slingshotted itself back to the top of my waiting list.

People LFG all the time but they never want to start the group, to be the leader, to send the invites. The new tool should help.

Yeah, alot of people stand around LFG because they don't wanna make one.  I seldom, if ever get invited to a group.  99% of the time I create one myself, and it usually turns out better anyway.

I can't wait for them to fix their retarded LFG tool.  Right now it is so useless unless you know know the world and were Leth Nure is in comparrison to Tursh or where place X is from place Y.  Can't wait for them to fix it so we can at least search for people who are close to us.

Buying the EoF box is the way to go.  It has everything (base game, all exp. packs, and all adventure packs.  both sets of Acheivments paths, and the gods)

As for cookie cutter characters I'll explain using my pally, which is my level 70 toon.

All pallies are the same, with the exception of what race they choose.  At every 8 levels or something like that you get to choose a new Racial Specialty.  (there are about 5 choices on average each time this comes up, so this is a good way to be differrent from others (aside from the 12 different classes))

Something else that makes all pallies different from each other is at every 6 levels or so, they get to choose to specialize in a skill they already have.  (this is another way to make yourself different, but most of the time most ppl choose the same ones becuase of how much it might hinder your charcter to be differnt (sad huh))

Then there are the Acheivment points.  You start earning these at level 10 and you can earn 100 points to spend on these.  What this is...is all your already aquired abilites are put on a list and with each point you earn you can choose to enhance this abilty.  This is actually really nice and nice in a way that you really can't screw up.  Just choose how you like to play and put points into those skills. 

Then there are the god abilities. 

So other than everything that makes you different, you are pretty much the same as any other pally.  Take that as you may, but I've played all the games out there, and this seems the most polished.

Forum Admins...could you please add some type of art to the Icon's on threads.

The threads have the little notepad icon at the front of them, some are red (newly created ones I think) and some have a little pin in them.  But there is no way to see if you've reply'd to certain threads or not.

Please add some art work so we know what threads we've replyed to.

I agree with Dela and Mangar.  The exp pack was pretty good, but I think even more so because it gave us higher level ppl something more to do, and it gave us yet ANOTHER opertunity to make yet ANOTHER alt...hehe.

The game is fun for me because I have a higher level toon, and I get to see all the new places with ease...it's also easy to group if you just use the tools availible...at any level.  Use your /level channels, use hte Lfg tag, use the search to start a group yourself. 

Thats what I don't get, everyone says it's so hard to group, yet any time I try at any level, I get get a whole group set up and to a dungeon within minutes.  Guess I'm just gifted.

I used to love HZ...I HATE EII.

These mother F'ers stole money from me.  I haven't subscribed to HZ since last April.  I check my account this past month and guess what?  Your right, they have been charging me.  The didn't charge me in May, or June, or July, or August, but I got charged in September somehow and in October somehow.  I haven't reactivated my accoutn or even attempted to log into the game.  These bastards are criminals.

Basic info about the game...

You level up to 70.  You must own the Kingdon of Sky expansion to do so however, but you can get 1-60 with just the normal game.

Their are alternate Advancements Points which begin at level 20 and are pretty much just background entertainment until you start earning enough where they become valuable.  You also need KoS to beable to earn and use these.  They are actualy pretty nice addition to the game.

PvP is not on ever server, only a select few.  PvP areana's however are on all servers (except the PvP servers) and can be alot of fun.

Combat is pretty fun and quick paced and the use of all your abilties is often needed on fights unless you are fighting stuff lower level then you.  Heroic Oppertunities are a brilliant application in the game, but is unfortunatly not given enough attention.  It could be such a wonderful feature in the game, but in it's current status does not detract from any part of the game.

I dont' craft, I dont' care how easy or how much of a hinderance it is...I just find crafting in any game, boring.

The game is fun, I have a blast.  I've played Wow for a while, and just dont' find it as involving or as entertaining.
