See I dont view that as ganking, thats PvP.  Ganking imo and lots of others is  a max level player attacking a beginner.  That is ganking to me, just outnumbering the other side is not ganking, its when the other side has absolutely no chance in not only winning but even fighting back.

FPS servers house 10x more players yet they consider this game to be a MMOG (Massive Multiplayer Online Game)? Not so much imo... Not to mention we will have to pay monthly for this? The game is pretty but this pisses me off.

APB needs to raise the bar... 25 to life Hosts 16 players are they a MMOG? they host double APB's numbers... When are game development companies going to learn genres? APB is hardly massive it is however a MOG (Multiplayer Online Game), yet it is being advertised as an MMOG and is perceived as an MMORPG... I guess it's all marketing schemes to attract more players but I see hellgate london fail written all over APB big disappointment for me as I expected more out of this game.

I should just get into game design but then again I don't think I would be able to work for some of the big named noobs behind all the current mmo's in development and already released. I could never stomach working for someone who had an idea for a mmo that I would never play. Also why is mmorpg.com starting to advertise games that aren't mmo's? I hate seeing hellgate on here...

mmo + instanced pvp = fail

dont developers understand by adding instances its like playing a free fps game? conan is going to be gay the only good thing that might come out of it are the people who play it and want pvp without instances cause they will see how much instanced pvp sucks and crave more pvp and then go play darkfall when its finally released in 2012 just before the world ends.

graphics are nice and everything but the only thing that matters with df is that it is full loot full freedom to pk whoever you want whenever you want zero instances guild vs guild combat and player owned citiesthat can be sieged PVP greater than graphics any day of the week. they need to stop making it pretty and start testing latency issues that they are going to have with hits registering because the game is fps!

The game isn't about pve while it will have it to attract noobs for me to kill its mainly about pvp I don't think  the community df devs are trying to reach give a shit about mobs. The graphics do not matter all that matters is i can kill you without penalty and take all your shit and burn your city period.

I've been following APB since it was being thought up hearing rumors several years ago about dave wanting to make a gta like mmo. However after reading and listening to the movies I'm frustrated because it would appear the game isn't going to be much of an mmo but rather more of a hellgate london as far as MASSIVE goes. I will surely play apb but it pisses me off when amazing games like this shoot for instance based worlds and encounters rather than making one massive world.   My opinion is all speculation of course seeing as I have not played the game. But just take hellgate for instance how awesome would it be if it were just one big ass world instead of the piece of crap it turned out to be... I have followed apb longer than hellgate and I think APB is going to hold the same disappointment for me as hellgate did. I will however be spending 5 hrs making my character before this disappointment sets in :O

If any of you writers or people who work for mmorpg to get interviews are reading this and you ever interview the devs about APB talk to them and really get into whether or not it is a persistent world or 90% instanced.... with those graphics it is easy to assume the devs are going for instanced.. I r sad

planetside was and is fun but i cant play it for more than a week now i usually just look at the site to see whats enw and its usually nothing special. the game needed to have a lot more done to it to prolong its fun factor... I'm surprised it still running and people are still paying the 15$/mo bill i find that ridiculous considering the population the game has and not to mention sony has been running ads in the game forever.. imo the game should have been made free a long time ago then and only then would it have the population it did in 2003 and become fun again. But as it stands right now every other fps out there offers servers with more ppl than you will find in 90% of battles fought in planetside.

all in all the game was fun lacked a lot gets way too repetitive   and is just a never ending battle that you can't win not worth your 15$ spend it elsewhere imo. BTW i am cr 5 br 25 Emerald incase some people reading this disagree and think im some random noob talking crap about PS.

wait for darkfall and then play it assuming it comes out and isn't broken =D

the only thing that will save planetside is planetside two it was a fun game and one of the best mmofps ive played to date however that was along time ago. someone already touched on how you can never win and stuff and he was right on target the games good but the way the fighting is setup is stupid and not meant for an mmo with a monthly fee its like paying 15$ a month to play bf2 so not worth it.

make a 2nd one or make the game free with advertising then youll see the old playerbase come back. i myself have several br23's cr3-5 toons in each nation however i refused to pay 15$ a month for bf2 along time ago.

BTW I was wondering why the in development page on the site hadnt been updated and now i know its cause they brought on noob devs to replace the ones who left a game thats been dead and whos publishing company manages to con noobs into subscriptions for games that suck.

I will also be starting a clinic for substance abusers we will be teaching them how to use the internet and getting top teams and guilds to come teach them how to play video games so that we can bring more pvpers into the mmo community, so that bigger companies work on awsome pvp mmos like shadowbane and darkfall cause everything else sucks..

we would like to point out after the completion of the program(s) we will be monitoring the patients for 3months and keeping close attention to their habits we will file them under different categories for instance.  someone who forgets to eat will be offered marijuana so that they incorporate eating into their gaming schedule now i know this might be confusing as the program is meant to be t get people off of drugs but sometimes the younger subjects do forget to eat and need a little incentive so we rush them through the process of getting their medical license to smoke and grow marijuana. and they are able to learn gardening traits to eventually ween them off of the video games into something less addictive like working everyday and being miserable with your job and stuff like that.

I would also like to point out that I will sometimes be traveling to different  preschools starting where the addiction of substances starts what many americans dont know is that as soon as you hand that child their first bottle of glue the curiosity just grows from there. so i will be visiting preschools and passing fliers out for parents of all ethnicity except mexican as my accountant has told me the majority of them couldnt afford the program so the cost of fliers to mexican family ratio would cause me to lose money, because after all money makes the world go round just ask god.
