a friend of mine started WoW 1 month ago we both were lineage 2 players but i came to wow about 2 yrs ago, and it was hard making that firend of mine mind to come to wow too, but guess what e cancelled l2 subscription and all he says is he could have come play wow so long ago, l2 was good but its a very old game by now, wow is much more fun and content complete.
about that dude saying WaR is better hahahahah believe me i tryed conan and all nothing beats wow, not even close......

I played AoC up to lvl 80 i have a 80 ranger on EU soulstorm-pvp and i quited way before the pvp patch was released so i dont know how the thing are going on at the moment but let me tell u about when i left. Pvp was a joke, with gems stats out of control and a terrible unbalance on classes plus very few people on the servers it was not fun at all, pvp minigames were bullshit cause they were not Xrealm and all classes being able to stealth did not helped...
Now i came back to wow after realising conan was The failure, pvp in wow is in an overall view fun, u can do bg´s wich require teamwork, world pvp and arenas, theres some fair balance between the classes, except in arena where blizz did screw up, thought its fun some classes just cant make it to the top (they want to fix this in wotlk though), but in a duel(1v1) or a bg (15v15) all classes are usefull and reliable, its great to do pvp raids to take control of world pvp areas and the rewards are worth the time u spent playing pvp.
hope my post was useful, and btw if u enjoying conan keep playing it i enjoyed it too the problem is when u get to 80, there´s no fun at all no economy but those are topics for other discussions :)

And this isn't McDonald's vs Steak debate since both games cost the same amount.  This is more like McDonald's vs Arbys.

WAR's low numbers actually doesn't come from the game itself, but from everyone buying into AoC's hype and being let down. That's the biggest factor of WAR's lower numbers at launch.
 
However, please only count NA and Euro subscribers for WoW, as the asian market's total payout is substantially less per person. WoW is not the largest subscribed MMO though, despite what many of you may think hahaha. It's just the largest INTERNATIONAL one.
 
I'm pretty sure most people who are sticking with WoW still have computers from 2002 and just don't want to give up their characters they've worked so hard to get items for, which make their characters because there is only one way to advance in the game once you hit max level and that is through items. What a horrible treadmill of linear and non-skill based advancement.

well there´s a little prob with ur tard theory, to get the best items ingame u have to kill the hardest bosses who therefore are only killed by the most skilled players... and i have a intel quadcore wich i bought to play AoC ye the wonderful graphics on the most boring shit i ever played..

omg just to think i would love to have two wow account and that there´s actually people paying 2 acc to failcom.... i played aoc i have 80 ranger but b4 i realized it i was on the worst game ever even lineage 2 private servers have more quality...

i just cant wait to play the expansion, all the world pvp, awesome areas and dungeons, omg 1 month to go guys

barricate with a half full raid in a tiny house next to ironforge auction house, we stood there for about 3 hours just owning all the alliance, truly epic :D it was about 3am but still horde ruled they´re home.

simply because WoW is better...

actually i think there´s more and more players coming to wow, maybe its the expansion being close to release duuno, but in grim batol at peak hours theres hundreds and hundreds of players, dailys pvp raids on the enemy faction capitals etc, i think when blizz release next subscriber numbers it will be way over 12million :) gotta say though i would like to try warhammer but not so soon i went all over conan loved it first month but then ewww.....

not rly friend when i left the game i had 300kills and about 100 deaths i had no problem with it, its just the boredom of the fight u see? ye im frustrated i gave so much money for that bullshit game :s

if ur chasing an enemy and u try to do a combo ur character will stop right there hitting the atmosphere wich is quite a piece of shi*

yes it IS slow as someone says here to the time between the combo moves is so boring

ye the revolutionary "combath systhem" was afterall a piece of crap, fights are slow, u cant chase someone and perform a combo, in the end its all a tank and spank button mashing GG mr godager...

dx10 was in fact a huge disapointment, u know when we were all installing the game that ritual of reading the handbook (quite crappy too) and see those beautifull pictures of DX10 on the box and it says that it would be in the game, they did fool almost a million people, brilliant! but this was not the worst about conan, the worst was that the game became rly rly boring and a pure tank and spank fest... well lesson learned never trust crappy companys on these releases...
