I'm currently running an OCZ Vertex 2 Extended (120GB)

Installing windows 7 was as easy as, setting AHCI mode in my bios before starting the installation, popping in my windows CD (or you can put it on a flash drive and install it from that if you prefer) and starting the setup.  The setup automatically loaded up all my drivers and I finished the installation without a problem.

My windows 7 boots up within 20 seconds to desktop, and i have a shit ton of programs that launch up.

Games installed on the SSD do benefit from it, but not as much as i thought they would (granted I am not really playing a MAJOR MMO at the moment.)

pre-order from gamestop, put down $5 for it, and they give you a beta key, with which you can play in the next (and all subsequent) beta's for this game.  That way you can judge what you like, and dont like, and if it is worth it to YOU. 

was using wasd for Cobt, and it was just like wow except for some small things, eg when you have a weapon unsheathed (eg in your hand) and you want to talk to an npc your character has to sheath the weapon first before the text window will appear, i wish they could make it so the window appears as the character is sheathing his/her sword, to make it faster and less frustrating when you spam the clicks on the npc, and the window opens and then closes right away.

im going to my local ebgames/gamestop this afternoon to check, but from what i read online, the pre-orders are supposed to begin on june 9th.

Who else is going to buy it? you get guaranteed access to all the beta's which is a huge bonus plus, you also get to play early when the game launches, so you get a nice head start!

even thou i only played till level 14ish,  id say the TOTAL land mass might become to a comparable size of azeroth (Kalimdor + eastern kingdoms) not alot of zones but they zones are big and have a lot of different monsters.

None of these.

The next great MMORPG will have the following:

The Lore of Warhammer/Warcraft

The Movement system of world of warcraft/fps games (eg Responsive not heavy)

the graphics of Guild wars with bigger/better environments

The game should not be sides, everybody should be able to clan/friend everybody else.  And everybody should be able to KILL anybody else too. 

The polish level should be of NCsoft quality.

The support system should be better then NCsoft and Blizzard combined.

When one game mixes all of these together,  and presents them in a manner of guildwars/world of warcraft,  we will have an MMORPG that i would pay $30/month to play.

Untill that day we will be stepping slowly towards teh ultimate MMORPG.

i could never stand RPers...in wow BG's every rppvp server had horrible members in it..i guess they just wanna have fun with their "hello sir [insert goofy name here] but meh to each his own i gues

best mmorpg is the one that isnt released yet.

the only "console" i see thats prolly able to do this is teh PS3, because sony allows universal hardware pheripherals, where as microshaft wants to keep a monopoly on wireless technology for its console.

900 thats it? if an mmo's any good people spend much more time then that... aka my sig 1200+ hours in wow in 7 months, albeit it was a long time ago.

That number is simply 950K users that have signed on the PSN. I am pretty sure that the PS3 has more than 950K in the number of units sold so far. All that article writes about is the cost of game developement which is a lot higher than 10 years ago. Back in 1998 an AAA game might cost $2-3million to develop. Nowadays the same AAA game would cost $30-50 million.

Actually there is 1.3 million users that have signed on the PSN. That being said any person can sign up for it. You don't even have to have a PS3 to sign up for an account. Also one person can have as many accounts as they want.

Conquer Online...some of the best PvP matches ive EVER had..mainly because there was  apenalty for dying... and i died alot on that game, but when u became powerfull got was it fun to get revenge.

my x1650 pro pumps out about 25 fps on medium settings in town and anywhere from 0-30 fps in battles, if i use lowspec renderer it goes up to 40 flat. (but looks ugly :( )

horrible game with horrible quest system.
