xentex	Revival Process of WAR. General Discussion « WAR (Warhammer Online) 1/27/10 8:56:53 PM What you don't get is that it doesn't matter what they do to change the game. When a game is launched with so many problems it gives ppl a very bad taste in their mouths. They have actually done quite a few market research studies looking at exactly what % of ppl will give a game a second chance. The reality is that number is below 20%. When you launch a game that isn't ready for prime time you get exactly the fall out that War and countless other mmo's have had. There is only one way to get more than 20% of the population back and that is to go f2p. DDO did it and they saw a huge surge as have other games. I don't think WaR will ever get anywhere near the subscribers it used to have. I am though..., 100% certain that their only chance to save that game is f2p. The population in WaR is dwindling daily and it will continue to do so until they go f2p or simply shut it down.

Hell I see games that aren't coming out for ages getting hype votes. So I guess this post is to better understand why? Btw to clarify I am referring to hype ratings on the home page for example atm you have hyped black prophecy to 8.4. But that game is nowhere near coming out nor does it have nearly the feature set that JGE has. So help me understand why you have hyped BP over JGE? I can't wait for JGE to come out and I think if you all seriously look at all the videos and interviews out for it you would like it as well. To sum up please hype vote Jumpgate Evolution.
