Welcome and hello from North America. I hope you can get the game and play it in China as well as the rest of Oceania. I lived in Japan for 6 years and had to get a friend to send me WoW so I know what it's like to wait on a game that won't be released for a while, or have doubts about a game even being playable in your country of residence.
Hoping that you guys can play, and don't pay attention to the juvenile and ignorant people that make stupid comments about gold farmers being chinese. They have some growing up to do yet and need to realize that the world is a bigger place then their local convenience store. Cheers! |

You are absolutely right by saying it reminds of SWG pre Combat Upgrade and Oblivion. Should be an awsome mix of the two. The vastness and freedom to do what you want in game and not worry about a grind are what apeals to myself and I'm sure many others. Not really sure why there are so many haters. Jealous I think. Looking forward to DF in 2008. |

Just remember that it's a game based around pvp. It's fine if you want to roleplay a merchant in a town as long as you can roleplay a dieing merchant that gets torched when and enemy guild comes to take your town or a single player decides your prices are too high and stabs you in the face. You can then RP a dead toon and move your business elsewhere as a refuge. do not be afraind of what DF offers as you can be or do anything you want in game. It's just a game anyways, and it lets you have the freedom to do whatever you want! |

Last few posts have said it all. A game without a grind. A game based on skill, not based on how mush time you devote your real life to in terms of gear. I could write a lot more but I think the last few posts have really covered it. Be who you want, do what you want, make what you want and take what you want. The game is played by you how you want to play it! |

I hope the really negative people can just look at this as a new experience for MMO's and I'm not sure what their problem is with a game that promises so much. We'll have to wait and see if it delivers but isn't it worth being optimistic that Aventurine has done something great here. Very childish to bash a game that has taken it's time to be developed properly. Very childish people on both sides if the fence about this game. We'll have to wait and see what happens. The full length trailer rocks and the game looks like it's going to be hella fun! Definately get news of the game on the front page. |
