Yeah, those graphics are pants. This game already looks to fail based soley on the screenshots. who in their right mind would think that anyone could get immersed in bighead  sock puppet avatars.  Such a waste of a good idea.

Actually, it's a lesson to NEVER let Silius run with the ball as a lead developer. He is the main reason Vanguard is in it's current crappy and unpopulated state.

Silius is still the main man responsible for breaking this once awesome game. GG silius, you still stink as a lead developer.

How is that update coming? When was the last time he posted on the VG boards? How is that test server? Taste the failure, Mr. Rudolph the reindeer that flys year round. Slappy dance - just  a handful of his failures. Don't forget Gnomes with laser guns and robots!

Silius is the main reson Vanguard failed. His pie eyed chasing of the WoW dollar took a niche game with some bugs and turned it into a chutes and ladders WoW knock-off. The PC gaming world would greatly benefit if the entire industry got a restraining order for Silius, Saleem Grant.

That guy did more harm then Smed ever could, or did.

I pre-ordered WWIIOl back in 2001, when German SMG's fired backwards and squads had some form of freedom. You may remember me as Tactics, of Army Group B, 3rd Panzer Division, KG3 Commander and world famous leader of "The German Regulars Division"

I remember Angriff from way back then. If he says the game is junk, I tend to trust him vs. some 5 post sock puppet that is really a Rat in disguise.

Silius made sure to leave his mark of pure crap upon Vanguard. It is now unplayable. I heard they now have Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer year round now.

If only they would have left Silus as the 'crafting guy' in Vanguard. Unfortunately he was promoted beyond his skill set to Lead Developer and set about a 2 year developmental rampage that utterly destroyed the game, his repuation and any hope of working for anyone but SOE.

So then the whole face palm thing is just a bunch of fan boys being defensive? Pretty terrible interview. He is the PVP guy, he should talk about PVP, not a sliver of it. IF open world PVP isnt in the game at launch then we'll see SWOTR in the bargin bin, along with WAR and AOC.

Edit - it doesnt matter if its 50 v 50 or 100 v 100. Instances stink. Open world means PvP can happen anywhere. Anywhere. Get it?

If it has open world PVP why is the LEAD PVP DEVELOPER only talking about 8v8 instances? Some of us don't follow this game day and night.  We read an interview with the main dude and he didn't say squat about open world PVP, yet seems quit impressed with his intance building skills......

She can get off-line if she doesn't want to be harassed. Either that or roll a male character. Besides, when a girl tells you she is a girl in an MMO -- it's because she either wants attention or free stuff. True story.

Big woop - A single guy to work on the art. So in a few years we can have a re-lauch, right? Will it still cost me $70 in the U.S.?

I can testify that the game is indeed junky. The developer has a short-sighted vision and no back bone. Pretty much changes whatever the 12 year olds on the forum whine about. Population is next to nothing, the chat system is terrible, game mechanics have slowly devlovled into a super ninja version of Quake.

Some people paid $49 for this crap basket. The last MMO that ripped me off was AoC, and before that it was Vanguard (ruined by Salem Grant aka Silius). I'm permanently on the fence for future releases -- unless I see some wide spread and rabid rave reviews.

Lets just hope Silius doesn't start working on it.

I don't even play WOW, but I also have been getting spammed to hell over the last few weeks with fake AND real Blizzard e-mails. It's wierd and annoying.
