Game Play = A-

Talk about innovation with never before seen Features. PQ's, RvR, Living Guilds, and badass Combat Scenarios make this game a thing of perfection. Almost no instancing in an open world is a spectacular feature. It appeals to the Hard Core and Causal Gamer alike. Incredible Balance!

Graphics = B+

Not the very best I have seen out there, but this game will run on almost any system. I have a top of the line gaming computer with all the bells and whistles and it runs with no problems. But that's not the real story here. I also have a Laptop that is several years old. I can play with few or no problems on it as well. This game works great on almost any system.

Overall Polish = A+

Really a breath of fresh air coming from games like SWG and EQ2. Almost no bugs and when problems do occur, the EA team gets a fix out in No Time! This game is very smooth and comfortable to play for hours on end. This is a game that delivers with reliable servers and dependable mechanics.

Customer Service = A+

BEST I HAVE SEEN....EVER! I know coming from SOE it can go no where but up. But I have had to call a CSR on two separate issues regarding set up and billing and I have had nothing but great experiences with EA/M. These  are people who helped me when they didn't have to...these are people who don't pass the buck to other reps or give you the run around. These are people who....dare I say....CARE!

 

I really could go on and on about this game...I'm having a blast and can't think of another game in which I have had more FUN! I would recommend this one to anyone! By far the best that is out there right now!

And yeah.. People like to play differently. I find the "sidekick leveling" system pretty cool.

So if your friend would like to play this new character he has made then he wont have to feel bad about leaving you behind.

The sidekick option already addressed that problem. This offline leveling will just be ripe for exploiting.

I'm sure he is the scape goat. No one person is at fault. This failure was a team effort. He isn't the programming team.

AOC's fundimental design will keep it from ever being fixed. Too much of a instanced game to ever have that persistant world MMO feel I am looking for.

The only dept I would say did a decent job is the art dept. Shame the programmers couldn't do the art justice.

SWG had a great PVP system before SOE ruined it trying to act like WoW.

Funny thing is evey time they impliment WoW it looses more people.

When are game companies going to realize if people wanted to play WoW they would....PLAY WOW.

I had a pitifull comment in SWG last night that shows the attitude of GCW.

I was asking how much standings you needed to join a faction nowadays.

I mentioned I used to be imperial because the Rebels I usually encountered were usually ganking people like thugs. He said "it don't matter which side your on now. We're all friends now, this isn't 2003 anymore"

GCW is nothing more then mindless rewards now thanks to trying to yet again copy WoW.

Also SOE needs to work on stopping these PVP exploits.

There are serous exploits that allow people to use skills they should not be able to use, just as one example.

I guess they think playing cards is more important then time and money into the actual game

like we need ANOTHER fantasy based mmo

I admit the meatlumps is a terrible storyline that made me want to stab my eyes out reading it.

The trading card game is a terrible idea as it makes servers seem even less populated, and promotes buying in game items for real cash.

PVP zones are dead because it gets boring sitting in one zone running back to the same place over and over with no conciquence to anything. The PVP zones feel more like a call of duty style deathmatch where you just keep running back. It don't feel like a persistant world MMO

There is NO real world PVP.

As for people not wanting it, well I just stated it would bring me back, so I must not be a person

My first impression is the guys running look more like they are floating, and the world looks a bit average.

Nothing looks a step beyond anything already out.

We will see if/when it releases. Personally I am sick of fantasy games.

Cryptics Champions Online is going to be much better then this.

I just returned last month very supprised to resubscribe as NGE has improved a ton, but this trading card game is a total fail of an idea. SOE just shot themselves in the foot YET AGAIN!

It's a horrid way to;

make servers seem even less populated, and buy in game items with real life cash.

It is a terrible waste of time and rescources that could have been put into the GAME ITSELF.

Is SOE ever going to learn, if they want profits, all they need to do is make the game kick ass.

I think bioware will remind us what it looks like when a  Star Wars game kicks ass.

I repeat. EVE's space engine has NOTHING to do with Ambulations engine, and whitewolf merged with ccp for a big reason of bringing their mmo out.
