Sure, you do. But it’s nothing like that at all. That’s all I’m saying, it is an awesome video, but it’s so far from how the game really plays, it makes me sad. Just like every other pre-rendered movie.
So why are you complaining? Wait, so far from how the game really plays...I KNEW IT! It's really Warhammer 40K in disguise! Because there's magic and arrows and swords in the trailer, but if that's so far from how it really plays, the real game has heavy bolters, flamethrowers and all that good stuff! Cool trailer, just like for most other games, but as the years pass they get better and better. |

It's basically all you really talk about before release. Bad habit. But that also inspires trolls, by predicting the future. But hwen you try finding out the future you change it o.o....WTH am I talking about again?... did that make any sense/... :/ Now that NDA is lifted the beta testers can feel more free to make educated predictions |

If you were a company all you care is about sales, but if your a gamer. talking about it is as useless as talking about how sky blue is better than bright blue. But what else are we going to speculate about prior to launch? There's nothing wrong with trying to predict sales/subs, even if it's meaningless... I do agree with you though. |

Don't understand why people always want something revolutionary and new. Most of the time, when someone tries it, they fail, and then we rub it in. Or at least we say "props to them for trying, but this game still sucks". Then we go back to saying, "Damn why don't companies try anything new?" (Of course, not everyone does this, but many do...) WAR isn't trying to be revolutionary, it wants to be a fun game...not the second coming of MMOs that will put you into a world so engaging that you won't leave your computer for three days (can't believe some people actually want that!) I think WAR's taking what's out there and improving on it, or at least putting their spin on it - their spin happens to be more fun for many people. So what if it's not "new"? It's old concepts used in a different pattern. It's like using Lego blocks to build a giant life-size Darth Vader. You could easily use those blocks to build something else, they're still the same blocks. However, whether the Darth Vader or something else is better depends on each person. Of course WAR isn't for everyone but I think it'll be a competitor. It will dominate the market alongside WoW.

Im sure if you dig deep youll see WAR is your basic level based run-of-the-mill MMO with nothing new to offer the genre. One thing is for sure, wait till release and then wait till the power levelers start to control RvR and then come back to these forums and watch the 'fanbui' whine fest begin! That will be funny to read!!
Please explain to me how this will work when you need to have PRIOR CONTROL of Tiers 1-3 before you can even start to control Tier 4. |

Originally posted by greymann If you have a job that you thoroughly enjoy, but you have to go to it everyday, is it a grind? You're doing it over and over aren't you? Every MMO has some type of grind, the difference is it feels more like a grind in some games, while in others it doesn't feel repetitive at all until you do it for a very long period of time, probably a year or more depending on the quality of the game. Then of course no matter how good the game is some parts will feel like grind...it's all relative to the person. |

I guessed this week either today or yesterday. Sweet.

First there was a tiny little 3 second clip of it, then an 11 second one, but now 3 minutes? I want the whole enchilada, c'mon Mythic! This was very awesome though. |

Funny thing is, part of me wants to know why they waited to long to life NDA more than actually seeing the state of the game. |
