Each "wave" must be pretty massive (20 full and counting!!)

Originally posted by demarc01 Never thought of it like that, but yes to distribute the population more evenly. It makes sense, and the lower population server you are in right now the better. And with that being said, ALL of the servers will be FULL by the 20th. |

Then they should have made more servers or they should have invested in better server equipment, this is terrible. |

TSW: can somebody explain the hype to me?
General Discussion « The Secret World 7/30/11 9:31:49 PM
This game is hyped up because of the MMORPG freshness: - Voiced cutscenes - Beautiful and modern day setting apart from futuristic or fantasy MMOs - Great graphics (Age of Conan Engine) - No levels - Fast paced combat So, it is VERY different from WoW and something I'd like to try out. |

Is SWTOR when will they grant early access
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 7/30/11 9:28:40 PM
They confirmed Holiday 2011 and it has been confirmed by 2 executive producers of the game. So, hopefully November 29th, 2011 is the early access date and the launch date will be like December 3rd or something. That would be awesome. |
|
|
I'm predicting a December 2011 launch date, November is much too early, I'm hoping that that's the real release date, but we'll have to find out. And besides, the best things in life don't come without sacrifice, and we have to sacrifice all of this wait time for a miracle; SW:TOR. |

Has anyone Pre-Ordered from Amazon?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 7/30/11 9:23:49 PM
What made me mad was that Origin.com charged me full price for SW:TOR Deluxe edition. That's terrible. But, I'll survive, just so you guys know, there are some websites that do charge you full price for the preorder. |

-=The Army Of Light | EPIC GUILD=-
Guild Recruitment « Star Wars: The Old Republic 8/11/10 10:40:06 PM
For those of you out there hesitant to join a guild. Look no more because The Army of Light succeeds in both professionalism and friendliness.
The issue is quite simple, The Army of Light is much more friendly, active, dedicated, and best of all, they're open to a wide variety of people who not only have a varying degree of talent, but also desire and dedication to become the best.
This is the team to join, this is the guild to join, but deep down inside I am proud of Master Kavasta and everyone else who put together this guild. With hard work you guys have turned a small guild with a few members into basically one of the largest super communities on this website. I congratulate you all... |

12 full time writers, and 5 full time composers. They're really concentrating on story. And truth is, the only real reason to keep going in an MMO is story, a continuation, etc. Gameplay is always fun and interesting in the beginning, but again, the story drives the quests and leveling, etc. This is really going to be something special. |

Remnant Gaming is on a roll. Great luck guys, it must be the website, it's very attractive and you have a lot of active members too. |

Hey glad you came back to MMORPG.com to post your recruitment thread. This place gets a lot of views. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck. Remnant Gaming is truly professional and a work of art. |

[Dragon] Ouroboros - A Secret World Guild/Cabal Recruiting
General Discussion « The Secret World 2/27/10 1:45:45 AM
Greetings fellow dragon. We are a guild that's currently recruiting members for the new upcoming MMORPG, "The Secret World". We are one of the most active Secret World guilds out there. We currently have over 198 registered users and about 80 members whom are very active. It is a rarity to find such a guild out there that's so active. Take advantage and join our community. We will be part of the Dragon Cabal. It is one of three factions that will be part of "The Secret World". Our guild is based on members who have a lot of previous experience forming a guild that is both friendly, active, and engaging. For those of you who do not know or are not keeping up with the forums of late I and a few other members of the Dragon society have begun to found a cabal for our faction. I was inspired to base the cabal in a similar manner as to another online community I am a member of. To found a group built by its members for its members. It would be about creating a group that did not dicatate the type of characters or the amount of time spent in group activities. Its whole structure, colours and name would be deceided by it members. All members would be treated fairly and feel part of the group as despite its size, so long as you have an active input you can feel represented and not excluded. And already I have seen an overwhlemning support of some great people showing their interest. Just recently we have already thrown ideas around and voted a name for ourselves. And so I now offically unveil this cabal and name it Ourboros. Thread here: http://www.darkdemonscrygaia.com/showthread.php?t=4537 Those of you who have already shown interest please conitune to discuss all matters here in this thread. And anyone new to the cabal discussion may make yourself known should you have any interest. We have many other affairs yet to be determined. And so much yet is to be done. Remember the purpose is not for me to run this single handedly and so I invite all who are interested to step forward with their ideas. Thank you again and may the great quality we have seen so far continue. Currently we have our own site already. If you have interest getting in and being part of a fledgling Cabal at the ground level and/or have any great ideas please visit us and register at: |

My initial predictions, I say the game won't be released until October 28, 2010. I remember FFXI was released on October 28, 2003. |
|
|
Now....this is going to be a bit of a tricky question, but I am going to state my insight on this issue. First of all, Square Enix wasted a lot of money and time creating a huge open environment like Vanadiel. It's way too big and way too open, I believe most areas people have NEVER visited. However, this is good for a sandbox game, and for those who want to explore, and farm. Now....I believe that even if Eorzea will be HUGE, it is really just a section of the FFXIV world. It's like the Windurst, Sandy, Jeuno, and Bastok part of FFXI. That's what Eorzea is going to be about. But, FFXI had many expansions: Zilart, Wings of the Goddess, ToAU, and CoP which made it one of the biggest MMOs ever. Eorzea probably will not top that, but what do you guys think? Now.....probably after a few FFXIV expansions, we'll probably see more of the FFXIV world, it may or may not be bigger than Vanadiel. |

Playing 3 months AION, my question is What is this game all about?
General Discussion « Aion 2/26/10 3:09:56 AM
I'll be going back to Aion pretty soon, they have a healthy player base and will have a lot of updates. But, as for Warhammer Online, I really tried to give that game another chance and ended up quitting. You see, if there's no one gonna be on when I wanna PvP, there's really no reason to play the game. |

we all have seen the video: mithra throws out her arms and out shoots a magical barrier of forceful awesomeness to protect her boyfriend. Then they show us a pic of a tarulala placeing another one during the cinamatic fight with the molobro thing. This is exciting for me at least. The thought of king behemoth running full speed at my little taru ready to destroy him but what's this?!! Force field.... owned!! he just slams into nothing then my shield fails but I don't die because our main gladiator slams his shield into behemoths face and our pugilist punch's him in the stupid purple kidney and stuns him and then our axe Guy or what ever, neuters him! behemoths like OMG rage mode! So the lancers like watch out and throws his lance which hits behemoths eye and we win..... because force fields are cool... |

Well we have some speculation here. I've been thinking about playing FFXIV for a long time, but now after the failure of many MMOs, I'm starting to wonder about FFXIV. I'm gunna play the devils advocate for a couple of minutes here. Lets say everything goes as planned, beta for 5-6 months, then release in late October, but what happens if the game sucks? If it has core issues, glitches, and un-polished. Will you still play? Will you wait around for it to get better and have patches? or will it become dead like vangaurd?
