I just read up on you guys on ffxivcore.com and I'm really excited that there's new linkshells entering the race. For a long time it was just Rapture, but now I see new and inspiring linkshells. I welcome you to this forum, thank you for your time and may your linkshell live long and prosper.

Thank you everyone for staying loyal to our new guild. A little history, rapture formed the day after Final Fantasy XIV was announced. We had a few members sign up and formed the first FFXIV linkshell community. As time goes by, we grow slowly, but we are now branching out to other MMORPGs such as Aion Online, Champions Online, and Modern warfare 2. We are a multi-gaming guild, but at the same time we're all for FFXIV Online when it gets released in 2010.

in conclusion, today our guild has over 241 registered users, 60 linkshell members, and 30 active members. We are active, we are "Project Rapture."

The Guild's Leadership

The Guild's leadership mainly consists of 12 Highly experienced Jedi Master's of the Order, including the Grand and Supreme Master. The High Council discuss issues as a whole, and rely on one another for support and wisdom if needed. The main leader of the guild is the Grandmaster, which has a second in command called the Supreme Master. The Supreme Master leads the guild in the absences of the Grandmaster. Though, The main leading "Body" is the High Council.

Guild Structure

Our guild is made up of a Governing Body, and then four parts that make up the whole Guild Structure. The High Council leads the guild. The War Council deals with planning on the upcoming war etc. The Diplomacy Council handles relations with other guilds. The Council of Foreign trade deals with trade with other Republic Guilds. The Investigative Council deals with problems that are going on within the Community. Pretty much all of the Council's are intertwined with each other, but looking towards the High Council to be the main leading body of the Order.

How To Apply To The Order

If you would like to Apply to The New Jedi Order, please post a message saying that you would like to join, or you can send a private message to my profile. Remember, we accept all ages who are willing to act mature.

True, and this thread should be buried, but still, our guild is growing pretty fast through and MMORPG.com gets a ton a traffic. For those who haven't seen our thread to check out our website and help us become a stronger community. With each passing day, we gain more talent and dexterity. Our members are filled with new and inspiring ideas. Rapture is becoming more of a success day by day....

With that being said:

Final Fantasy XIV Online being an MMORPG, there must be some type of guild system with members and what not. The game suggests that we play with out friends and therefore I believe that we will be able to choose our own servers and play on one server together; as friends and a family.
 

Based on what I've seen about Global Agenda, it is basically an MMO with a great deal of competition. PvP, PvE, and AvA. It is the competition to become the best Agency.

My question is, what other motivations are there for playing such a game?

Obviously, the game doesn't revolve around a big story. Just the content written by Nathan Knaack. And, of course the setting of the world based on earth in the distant future. Are there any in-game cutscenes or story progression?

I'm level 30 right now and I admit the grind has gotten really bad. About 1 to 2% of your level is quests and about 98% is grinding grinding and more grinding. I think many people are going to quit at this point; Aion may have seemed like a great game in the beginning, but if you don't know Asian grinders by now, then you don't know Aion.

I'm lvl 31 1/4 right now.

Well, the waiting times aren't over because everyone still wants to be on the most populated server. I think they should have added these servers in the first place at the beginning, I don't think most of us wants to switch to another server and start over again. I wanna stay on siel where my home is.

I think his hairstyle is ok, I suppose you have to accept people for the way they are.

 Okay firstly let me say that I'm enjoying Aion, infact I love it. The Graphics, Story and Gameplay is brilliant and NCSoft Have done a very good job.

The only thing that I find particularly ennoying (apart from servers queues) is the Naming Policy. I'm sick of meeting new people that have silly or offensive names, in addition I cannot put characters in a name such as é, but yet i can put numbers in. 

I wonder if this will be updated? I wonder if they will release official RP Servers with the standard attached rules.
