My favorite thing in exprolation was SWG going to landmarks of the movies and seeing I.E. OBI ONES House, but you are right there is no exploration in games anymore. No unlocking the map no moving the black shit from the world map. Got a quest here's your X Nub now lvl as fast as you can!  I personally think the major reason mmo's are not fun anymore is lack of exploration.

Depends on what You mean, Everything I have heard is alot  farther advanced than SWG came out. But if you mean SWG and all expansions still no it will not be SWG. SWG was a great game and now it is caca shi shi pooh.

Enigma, shit I  thought I was only getting old! But agreeded mmo's/any game is now reduntant, single player, multi player,rts does not matter I find no enjoyment in them.  Let you know on the darkfall for I will maby wasting more cash on that(never played shadowbane).

My point and a some others is that if you burnout why same same? There needs to be something different to get you to play again. Yes I like convience of the wasd movement and push F1 to X special move. They are  licking the boot heals of Blizzard to make a buck/euro and it is discusting. For most game companies is how do we make our game as good or great as WOW.  Well I have been all over mmo's looking for the great one again like years of play time and when you done with WAR 6 months from now saying it was the greatest and; but I am not currenty playing, you already answred my question. Boredome it's a bitch.

If war is such a great game,why are you here talking about it and not playing it? For the record AOC had great reviews until lvl 20 then people saw it for what it was! Not flaming or trolling just a simple question.

Had the same problem with logging in, gave up too. Tried to get on website to cancel all account stuff, could not do that either. Was not that impressed with the game anywhoo, so much I still have not picked my retain disc from the store.

I saw the newest screens, but I donot know what's with all the negativty about the graphics? Maby its my old eyes or my super rig, they look pretty good enough for me to play. I never play any game for graphics, I have always played for immersion and gameplay. With any game high server population usually slows down or crashes the game, add super graphics(data that needs to be processed)=recipe for failure. Reading an AOC blog eariler and they where saying gameplay and FPS was greatly enhanced, wonder if that was because nobody was playing?

Just looking for some threads or sites I can go too for the latest news or info, or recent screenshots! Basically AUG 29-present.

I would like too see a fps mmo, if properly implimented. The biggest problem I have with this there is always an issue of hacking to worst degree. I.e. counterstrick, day of defeat, joint operations insert multiplayer fps insert hacker. So common of a problem I will not even play a fps, if requiers  a internet connection. The only game I saw come close to fps was Neocron but that was how you viewed it not where you where firing at(gear based and not skill based,weapon did  x amount of damage where ever you shot). Conclusion I think it could be done right, but this day an age money before quality and the bugs we will sort out later=)

And one more question if you have big ship will require your whole guild to sail/gun it? I plan on questing/exploring at  sea as well as land.
