Nope. The iffy state that MMOs are released in these days doesn't inspire confidence. I won't be buying any lifetime subs to any games until they prove themselves first. AoC had such a lovely release (sarcasm) that I'm hoping TSW far surpasses the glowing standard Funcom set with it. I don't think they will, though. I'm really hoping they prove me wrong, that they not only have a successful release but one that blows everyone's mind to the point that we're all questioning why we doubted them in the first place.

No security device will ever take the place of  player intelligence. Don't reply to phishing emails. Don't download from suspect sites. Check and recheck everything if you have any doubts. If you're stupid, not even the best authenticator and password combo will save you.

One of my favorite things to do in an MMO is explore. Most of my characters have not reached the end-game and aren't max level because I spend time looking around. I love to find hidden places that are off the beaten path. It gives me a sense of acomplishment. I would love to spend time in a world like the one you've described and shown with the map. What an adventure it would be! 

This looks interesting! I think I'm going to check it out.

For those saying that the dodging is easy, realize that the question usually isn't how to dodge but when to dodge and how to time things. And some of us don't come from FPS games so for some of us it is genuinely harder.

Also, while every class does support and control in addition to dps the ranged classes will emphasize support more and the melee classes will emphaize control more. Not to the point that it is enforcing roles, just a difference in style.

Ok, now that sounds like a lot of fun!  You would never be sure of what or who is around it would take sneak attacks to a whole new level.

I thoroughly enjoy Warhammer's rvr. If GW2 modeled their rvr after it then I'm going to have a blast! 

Interesting topic. There are so many different opinions on the subject of game interfaces and usability that a google search quickly provides way more information than one needs. Personally, I don't think the keyboard/mouse combo will disappear any time soon. Granted there are games like DCUO that you can play with a PS3 controller but it hasn't caught on with main-stream MMO players yet simply because we're set in our ways. It would be interesting to see how a touch interface would work, though.

It's not just you. Your question applies to quite a bit more than just MMOs, too. This seems to be a running trend in just about every form of media available today. People just don't know when to stop. Sometimes I think they just don't want to. Plus, change scares people, even gamers. 

The toons still move funny. The way they twist their bodies when they move sideways just doesn't look natural.

There is no way I'd cancel. I'm a die-hard Guild Wars fan and cannot wait for this game to launch!
