What I liked in TESO was that you had to explore a bit to find new quest lines and interesting places. I remember playing it for the first time after Wildstar with "go to next hub, do quests there, get quest redirecting to the next hub" etc. mindset, I was actually skipping a lot of content. Then realized you can just explore and find new stuff to do.
What really killed the game for me, was combat. I played melee templar (sword&board/2h) and TBH it was the most unresponsive, frustrating and not fun melee combat I have ever experienced in MMO.
I don't know, it just didn't feel fun. Templar skills felt boring, slow and weak. I was playing in duo with a caster sorcerer and felt like total weakling. I was running dungeons as a tank, and besides bosses pulls were nightmare to me. Most of them were chaotic AoE zerg.
If you have never played it before its definitely worth checking out. Keep in mind that lotro is now solo mmo. You don't need group for anything, so you can play it as single player game.
Story is great, especially if you take your time to read the quests. World is very immersive and beautiful, with great looking landscapes and huge areas.
Don't let character models turn you away from this game. They are pretty horrible, but you can get used to them after a while.
Its one of these games I both love and hate. Love for the immersion, world and atmosphere and hate because they completely abandoned the grouping aspect (no new dungeons/raids, the same old instances every expansion, just scaled to max level).
Worth playing if I have no interest in RvR pvp?

Ive got a question to beta testers or just anyone with some knowledge about ESO:
Im wondering if I should take any interest in this game if:
1) I really don't like the whole RvR PVP style and probably won't participate in it
2) I really like challenging small/medium size group content that cannot be zerged
Is endgame in ESO all about big scale RvR pvp? Are there any harder dungeons or anything similar?
Because so far it looks like its just solo (and group-unfriendly, which concerns me the most) content and mass pvp.
