I like your tactic. I totally agree with you! If apply enough thinking and skillz...the theif can be defeated just like any others. People just need to learn and get better at playing. Thats all.

6) Is this by any chance similar to WoW? =/ (Never played WoW)

7) Are the servers reliable, any drop outs server wide or even crashes due to high volume of players (if there is that many people playing) ? (Very reliable to me, never crash or drop. There are  Overflow servers for highly populated servers so you're never left waiting to play!

I don't notice nor really care about all of that DR or XP limiting stuffs because I am always having fun when I'm playing this game. You know.. just running around and killing things.. events.. story... event... gather resources when I feel like it.... craft something when I'm tired of fighting... do jumping puzzle when I'm bored of other stuffs... log off when I have enough of play time.. and that is usually 2 hours on average. Bottom line.... this DR thing didn't effect my play time much. I do feel you hardcore farmers tho.

That is exactly what you need buddy. Try getting out more and less gaming. It will balance out everything, trust me!

Here's an advice.

1. Work five days a week 9-5 (full time job) - Normal

2. Go out and meet people often - Normal

3. Hang out with friends (non-gaming event) - Normal

4. Meet a girl and go out on dates (on regular basis) - Normal

5. Eat home cook food (non junk or microwave food) - Normal

6. Exercise and play sports every day - Normal

7. Play video games (on spare time 1 hr a day max or 2 hrs max on your weekends) - Normal

If you do this.. .I guarentee that you won't be so bored so quickly playing any video games :-)

At first, I strugled a lot trying to understand the combat and skill system but not until Arenanet launched the Wiki. The wiki helps me out a lot when there is something I need to learn in detail, etc. I'm still learning also. My guardian is lvl 17 now. Imo, the real fun of GW2 is discovering the skill combinations and testing them out (I felt the same way for GW1 that was why I kept playing it).

Try this...

1. You should, try to use Utilities skills while trying to use different weapons to unlock all of the weapons skills available for      your profession. 

2. Do skill challange, earn skill points and spend them on utilities skills.

3. Mix and match your weapons and their skills and use them in combination of utilities skills. It is endless....

I have been trying this and now I'm enjoying my Guardian very much! There are so much more to discover... it is overwelming for someone coming off from GW1 lol... but, i'm loving it.

The only real issue for me tho, is targetting... I need to get used to locking on certaint targets and switching them efficiently. So, just keep playing and practicing.. no rush...(no monthly fee :P ) take your time and you will like it even more.

I want to go to the server with lots of people.. so I always have people to play with and against! I am from the East coast.. Can you guys direct me to which server to start with?

Its called market value, I make a cup of coffee at home for $0.20 but I am willing to goto a coffee shop for 2 bucks. I could afford 5-10 bucks for a cup of coffee every day but I am not willing to pay it. Why? Because I can get value for my money for 2-5 bucks at the local coffee shop. DDO and GW1 has proved they can make lots of money and make enough content to make customers happy with a average of 4-7 bucks a month from customers.

I have been playing GW2 and its as quality as an MMO can get. I am having bucks of fun in PvE and WvW. So why would I jump ship to play an older game and pay more? Market value of Vanguard is F2P but not as SoE has it set up. Make it really free to play or charge 4-6 bucks a month.

I like how you see things....... know the value of hard earn money! 

My wife will get extra attention while I'm waiting for GW2's launch! :p

No sweat buddy, I'm sure they will offer a free trial of the game after it has been launched. I myself always try out any games before I actually purchase them :) You should also look forward to a buddy key from ppl who have bought the game. Just keep an eye out for those buddy keys!
