The reason I played RS was it cost far less than WOW at the start but working out increased costs with much lowered experience proved to me that RS maximum levels would cost a lot more than even WOW now. I don't have 50 years or more left to play to max my RS account so no way will I play it even though I still have the addictive feel of it but great that they changed it to far worse design to kill that feeling too - at least I can thank Jagex for that lol! If you know enough about RS then you know over 10 million accounts were made for it and less than 1 million accounts play it now with lots of those macros and also a lot controlled by Jagex to manipulate the game there and this allows them to be listed on forums where they are mods for forums and remove the complaints that have honest definite proof of Jagex failures so on RS forums the truth is well hidden and only stupid worthless complaints like 'why remove pking' remain to make you think they keep the game honest, sorry to say but most there play in great ignorance to the truth!

Like the huge majority I got so annoyed but not with pk gone as I enjoyed the wild after that. The Trade Limit & Grand Exchange wiped well over 3/5th the value off my bank stock without warning and primarily did it to everyone to balance it to shops and seems how they got stuff themselves to resell in ways to improve their own mod designer stocks as Jagex staff I found to be the worst cheats and liers of the lot! What finally made me totally sick of them, after playing for five years having a lvl111 account with 1846 total having done all but 15 quests, was the cost of membership kept going up when our $NZ increased considerably to $US and my complaints to them got a negative lie comment that "I was wrong and when the $US improved then it would be cheaper for me to play" so does anyone else not know their maths to realise if $US goes up our $NZ will mean a lot lot more to play. Even trying to go directly to Jagex just got mods reply so confirmed that they are the same. As far as age restriction kids of all ages played regardless and I knew several 7 & 8 yr olds that happened to be better friends than most teenagers. As a mature adult I had huge numbers of adult friends but while most were good a couple were bad including a womaniser male that deceived his wife and even used her account for more contact and with kids he just traumatised so many of them to make them quit in tears and opening up age restriction will only make that more common - as said above Jagex DON'T CARE so good luck to the poor fools that keep playing and I hope you are very rich as it drained a lot of funds from me while my experience decreased to 1/4 or 1/5 what I originally was getting thus paying even more to play. Quick Chat, yes better than clan chat as clan chat only meant good friends joining in a chat already well into it usually listen to the wrong conversation of many going on together and got the wrong idea so really packed a wobbly & bye to a long standing friendship for the wrong reason - they should never have added that as it caused more trouble than ever. |

But still no change to be able to play in another world so useless if you already know other people. Also no idea where about the server is in the world so means like me playing from New Zealand I get too many kids playing from foreign worlds up far too late and showing how it is already making their minds behaving poor along with failing health as science proves the loss of nutrition and daylight means kids born today will die before their parents and the younger generation can not do as good as us adults at all. Get daylight as a priority instead of always on a computer, once you sort that out learn to grow your own vegetables and only play a few hours max any game at all Oh how do you get sandbags, at lv42 I recently made 68 of them but how on earth to trade to other worlds, isn't it impossible? |

I too get very annoyed at all the swearing, kids obviously using explecit sexual terms and I have tried so many ways to complain to them about this but as you say its like they don't care. The stupid thing is in the end banks go back at the game controllers and demand reimbursement for gear that has been purchased to play the game via this method so in the long run it is IGG & TOP that will be worst off in the end and like with other good games it will also destroy the life in this game |

Hmm, i'm so used to seeing highly ranked forum people with profession style spam so it seems MMORPG has this aswell!
Something I missed on my previous post was about cost in general, Runescape was cheap when I started and the cost comparison of $NZ to $US means with the economy where we earn a lot less per year in direct dollar comparison to even Australia it isn't worth playing an expensive game like WOW. When I recently compared these games and a few others I quickly realised to get a maxed account with full skills that RUNESCAPE would be possibly the most expensive game of the lot for me and i'd probably be in my grave by then as I have to work and survive first before I play which limits my time yet I am certain a large number of the kids playing today wont be alive when i'm in my final years as their excessive hours playing means they will die of worse disease first - since there's hundreds & thousands of sites for this truth just do a little study using links you find from www.drmercola.com and search all health concerns but start with |

Runescape was a game I enjoyed for a long while playing five years and the main worries was how Jagex people changed so much the ones there now are so dishonest. many a time I joined threads on its forums about many of the problems yet when I started a new thread it was quickly removed for no explanation as clearly Jagex directly controlled this and edited it so that the game seemed to be the way they controlled it without the truth of its failures becoming general knowledge to make a lot more people quit. I even went directly to Jagex to get an honest answer but found two of their mods lied very badly to me trying to cover up even worse. Imagine paying from New Zealand when our dollar was 59cents to the $US and yet with our $NZ improving to up to 80cents to $US the membership cost me even more yet they told me if the $US improved then the game would cost less and that I was really wrong - DER anyone else here stupid!!! Just after this they announced costs for new members would be going up but not existing members so why finally did they say this in public, me having not renewed while still being a member means I would have to start a new membership thus pay even more!!! As far as RIOTs the actions were forced by hackers and macros as stolen accounts by world skilled computer cheats from China, Nigeria etc stole bank account details aswell as the game account details so used real peoples money to play their games to then sell the produce of the game and even the accounts for real world money and this did genuinely cost Jagex so although it wasn't the best way thats what they did. Naturally PKing was the favourite pastime mainly for the kids playing and the trade limits were annoying but the Grand Exchange for example took well over 30million gp off my bank account as I had been saving my gear so as to help as I became stronger - one example was the 468 Duel Rings I used to sell for 5K each regularly then suddenly the value in the trade said it was worth 756gp!!!!!, if you wonder about my experience my account was a combat Lvl111 with 1844 total skill. As far as Riots generally it was amazing being told by a friend and checking out the MOD Riot I think in world 120 and i'm sure after that a load of Mods would have quit. As well as Jagex lies the fact experience was continuosly getting lessened by the game engine meant being addicted you had to be a member so much longer to earn the same experience as you had got in a shorter time earlier in the game - woodcutting where I had 92 was soul destroying with the lack of mage logs or even maples for my level now, mining was the same as the graphic change to moved really slowed it down but the ore drops continued to be slowed down so my mining83 was worse than ever, even their silly updates after Pking gone & trade limits never returned the same experience when you gained the special part from their new addition gloves etc yet why should I loose experience to be forced to do that!!!!!!!!! Everything turned me from enjoying my game time to hating vertually every aspect so as hard as it was I had to quit! Generally I enjoyed the game for the friends I made and being an adult I found a huge number of fellow adults playing where I had joined originally to keep in touch with my nephews. many of the kids were also good mature understanding players that I tried to help understand how best to gain experience or do some of the quests I had done as I had 243 QPs with 15 quests left to do. Clan chat seemed good but I discovered this made all chat more disasterous as now friends came on the game into clan chat when many different discussions had been happening and too often the friend just joining in chat got messages confused and thus suddenly a long friendship was ended with many becoming enemies for all the wrong reasons. With the major updates the players seemed to be more adults as via pking going so did a larger part of the kids playing. The macros did disappear a lot but this never stopped them altogether but rather made the less players on mean world thieves needed to find a more worthwhile game to ROB. Another side of friends was that although I met a lot of nice adults from the other side of the world I found a couple of men that used it for womanising and also a few woman that used it more to tease so many men & boys so putting them on ignore still caused trouble as they put pressure on my friends whom they hid their true style from as they used my good friends to find more contacts to hassle.. Finally games in general I find far too many people ignoring their own health and playing 24/7 which is inversely propotional to what happens to your health and thus how long you will live if you can't control the game addiction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

For now I just waste time playing 'Tales of Pirates' from IGG who have a lot of free to play games that seem good but as with any game it has a lot of worry and being newer than RS by far it needs so much improving but there I can just get into my own game and ignore the chat while I can get my account player up to high lvl earning lots the hard way but it is possible to go anywhere without paying membership like Jagex make you so you can enjoy the full game - IGG do sell equipment & other items to make it a lot easier to help your account but thats the choice you have paying to do it easy or playing for real and doing it the hard way, I have no respect for people that don't do the work themselves and to respect someone due to their level is to be conned by a majority of cheats, hackers or else the unfortunte that play 24/7 and will die young for sure!!!
the biggest trap of all those website advertisers that if you don't watch your kids and they go there then that sites automated tracking program puts a program on your computer to steal the account passwords but worse still they also get all your online banking details including passwords to your bank account
How many people find that the lack of variable times this game lacks really ruins so much of it's better opportunities? Here in New Zealand when they decide to update for two hours from 2am to 4am over here thats at 6pm to 8pm thus the main time us adults and children can play since we have finished work or school!!!
Being still in my first two months on TOP after I woke up to how Runescape sucked my money for little experience & on comparison of cost to final experience for a maxed account it would be near the most expensive of all them and now take forever to gain so five years playing & membership down the drain their I joined here from an old friends recommendation in that ruined RPG
Yesterday I looked at how to play HEX on TOP on the forum main guide they gave me and here it is for newbies like me that probably haven't found much help themselves
