A good leveling process is one which focuses on the gameplay activities you enjoy.

For me, that would be:

  • Reward structure tilted towards grouping.  So solo is viable, but slightly slower than grouping.  So grouping is part of leveling.
  • Engaging combat, where reacting to different combat events is rewarded.
  • Difficulty options, where harder difficulty results in faster progression.
  • Interesting and varied content.

Those are the important things at least.  I don't mind dabbling in PVP, and I do quite a bit of crafting (particularly in the games wise enough to let you craft useful items while leveling.)

yesyesyesyesyes, i couldnt have said it any better, find me a game like that and ill play it with ya :D. grouping should be key, its what sets a MMORPG and an RPG apart. If i wanna run through a game by myself and basically solo my way through, i wouldnt wanna waste the 15 a month when i could just get oblivion or fallout 3 or something. Grouping is the main thing im looking for. WoW had great leveling earlier on, but now that almost everyone is level capped, the lowbie instances are empty, and the only way to level from grouping is maybe getting runned through by a high level friend. Thats why i'm waiting for the new WoW expansion, me and some friends are starting from scratch. New server, new classes, new races, new everything. Its gonna be great :D

i've wanted to see a nice wildwest mmo for such a long time. it would be amazing, playing on a map like the early united states. Open plains where you could make a home or farm or big villages where you could work as a group with your friends. seriously, look at the maps of SWG or another game like that, the planets were giant, you could build a house practically anywhere, and it was so much fun. helll, you could even make the states different zones if you wanted, it wouldnt matter, it would still be a great game :D

i knew you were gonna put that commercial up! grr i hate that fish!

Rum is for Drinking Not for Burning by senses fail?

idk i like the title and the song.

alright wow. why did those kids just grab him..

i would of honestly fucked that kid up.

would you really enjoy pausing the game every 5 seconds to heal the main tank in an instance? and like keep switching and dps'ing with all your chars?

am i the only one who finds this quite humorous?

you suck.

I don't think it#s your stupid photographs they want the rights to.

It's your valuable data. Your name, address, email, phone number, age, intrests, job and shopping habits.

probably. but how is it legal for them to keep all this information?

EDIT: well i guess i wanna know how they can change the rules mid-way. because all of the facebook users didnt agree to this so how are they allowed to change it.

mine was amazing. i spent the day with my girlfriend. ill leave it at that . i love her so much, cant describe it. but yeah happy valentines day

eh i was kinda looking for a newer mmo with better graphics and stuff. thanks though

didnt it basically make it easier to become a jedi? when i played SWG pre-CU,  i saw maybe a dozen people with lightsabers. and i always wanted one, and finally i made myself get one! and i got a blue one and then the update came and i quit

it was the best mmorpg i ever played. so much content. i remember killing krayts and getting pearls and selling them for a huge profit

Which should i play?

these are my interests in a game

  • Fun, keeps you wanting more
  • a lot  of different mounts, races, and classes
  • a lot end game content
  • good lore and quests
  • customization

help me choooooose

ah hey buddy boy,  the best thing to do is have confidence in yourself!

im not saying cockyness, but if your shy try to be more outgoing and hang out with people more, and you will have so much fun

if your main game is a f2p game you might be pretty cheap.

usually f2p games have less features, weak graphics, and horrible lag.

p2p games are 15 dollhairs a month which can be annoying, but they are much better quality than f2p, unless your talking about, darkfall, the game that will never come out!

oh and yea im not playing any mmo's atm.

where can i get a buddy key? i really want to try it out., and how many days is the buddy key? 14 day trial or what?

this is a tough topic to discuss, so i wont.

The game is slowly dieing and though it gets hyped here alot by fanbois it is not growing, promises made before and after launch are slow in coming and some may not happen at all.

Again, I will copy and paste:

I hated the game so much that I spent $9.99 to get a www.failcom.BLANK site.

Now I play the game and enjoy it, and yes, it has improved.

Does this make me a fanboi?

The only thing worse than fanbois are the anti-fanbois, who,.....spend all their time calling everyone "fanbois"...lol

ooh donjn do you have a buddy key?
