Well it depends on what I'm in the mood for. When it comes to fights I would say hands down DBZ was the best even though it would take a century for a fight to be over.

As far as storyline I would go with Cowboy Bebop. Most of the episodes where writen very well and had depth by going into the background of each of the main characters and how they came together and finally went their seperate ways.

Blizzard already has a fantasy based mmo out with WoW. Why would they go and make a Diablo mmo which would cater to the same people as WoW. The mmo market is already saturated with fantasy based games and to make another one would be imho a very bad business decision.

If I was calling the shots at blizzard I would go with a starcraft mmo because the mmo scene is ripe for a good scifi fantasy based game. My goal would be to corner the market and since I already have a fantasy based PvE mmo out that is dominating, I would go with a scifi fantasy mmo based more on PvP to get the remaining customers who don't play WoW because they are burnt out on orcs and elves or just prefer scifi/tech over fantasy.

There is a reason that even to this day you can still see over 10,000 counter strike source servers running nearly every day.

My fire/stone tank crawled into a corner and assumed the fetal position at level 45 when ED went live. He hasn't moved since.

Through all of this the American people have bought into the idea that government would never do anything so wrong that we might have to defend ourselves from the same entity who takes our tax money at gunpoint if not paid.  I mean, the government is our friend, right?  WRONG!!!  The government will take whatever opportunity it has to seize more power and grow as it has and will always want to.

That's what the second amendment is for.  And that is the reason both parties want to take your rights away.  Don't be fooled because both of them are on the same mission.  Their just attacking it from different angles.

QFFT!

I could not agree more with this statement. Its almost like a form of denial with some people when you say anything negative about our government.

After you spend a couple of days doing all the quest (yes its going to take a good 15-17 hours because of all the crap you have to kill) to get the mounts you will be very pissed. The mounts are exactly the same as a 10g horse stat wise, oh and you STILL HAVE TO PAY 10g FOR THE "UNIQUE" MOUNTS AFTER YOU DO ALL THE QUESTS!

This was made by someone in another forum that I frequent and I thought it pretty much states why we americans should keep our guns.

Something to think about:
(Why we need to stay Armed and free)

Gun History

Whether you agree or not, it's an interesting lesson in history.
Something to think about...

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to
1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were
rounded up and exterminated.
------------------------------

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million
Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
------------------------------

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total
of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were
rounded up and exterminated.
------------------------------

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million
political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.
------------------------------

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981,
100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.
------------------------------

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979,
300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.
------------------------------

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one
million 'educated' people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up
and exterminated.
-----------------------------

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century
because of gun control: 56 million.
------------------------------

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by
new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their
own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500
million dollars.

The first year results are now in: Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2
percent Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent. Australia-wide,
armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)! In the state of
Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. Note
that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did
not, and criminals still possess their guns!) While figures over the
previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with
firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months,
since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed. There has
also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY.
Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has
decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in
successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian
experience and the other historical facts above prove it.

You won't see this data on the American evening news or hear our
president, governors or other politicians disseminating this
information. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and
property and, yes, gun-control laws affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. I personally thought LoTRO was a complete snorefest and could care less who goes to play it. Well thats not really true. I would really care if you went and played it right now and stop posting in the Vanguard forums. Now I know you have a right to post where you want but I would REALLY like it if you would just leave and not post here.

Jjust my opinion

Well I might as well put in my two cents.

/rant on

I as an african american am sick and tired of this crap. I find IN NO WAY AT ALL the word nappy racially offensive. What Imus said did not warrant the overwhelming outcry of injustice that it recieved. Yes what he said about calling them hoes was sexist and he should have just got his two week suspension for that but firing him was going too far. I'm also sick and tired of Al Sharpton. This man DOES NOT REPRESENT THE BLACK COMMUNITY and is nothing but a antisimite rascist his damn self looking for anything he can to get his name in the headlines. He needs to STFU and go DIAFF. I'm also tired of the damn race card crap. I was rased to get off my ass and do what I have to do to make it and thats exactly what I did. I lived in the "hood", I had close friends who sold drugs, I have gone through christmas with no toys because my parents only had enough money to pay the rent.  I went through all the typical life in the hood crap and not once did I ask for anything. I stayed my ass in school and got an education (well the best that public school could give), joined the navy and got even more. Did my four years, got out and now I'm employed by the department of defense getting PAID for what I know. The tools for you to succeed are there you just have to get off your ass, stop taking the easyway out, and do it your damn self.

/rant off

and Froodoo I'm sorry but you sound no better than the very people you keep speaking out against.

Don't know about where you live but, here in MO you would probably find at least 1 in 10 people that are racist to some exent.

I agree, I wish I could find this utopia that gnomexxx lives in.

Gnomexxx you have some good post and your idea of life is just that,  but the more of your post I read the more I start to feel a certain amount of nievety comming from you.

Good post but I have to disagree with your last statement. The game is infact getting better.

It seems that alot of people got burned because they fell for the hype (AGAIN) and have a right to feel the way they do. I was in vanguard beta and was dead set on not buying this POS mmo when it went retail but a friend of mine talked me into it. I wasn't burned by the hype machine because I knew full well what I was getting into so I don't have the feeling of being duped like some posters here. I also think that Anarchy Online still holds the number one title of crappiest release ever followed by SWG's NGE fiasco and it willl take a diliberate attempt to do worse. Vanguard had to release early because they simply ran out of time and money and if I was in their shoes I would have done the same thing. What would you have done? Throw away all the time and work you did or put it out there and hope that the fans would support it?

I don't know when it happend but for some reason the more I played Vanguard the more I started to like the game, even with the MASS amount of bugs. I was in LotRO beta and even stopped playing it because I found Vanguard to be more to my style of mmo and when it didn't crash to desktop I was actually having fun. I have not had any of the game breaking bugs like rollbacks that others have had and if I did I would be the next guy calling Vanguard a waste of money, but so far for me it has not been.

And that is why I choose to support Vanguard...........well, until Warhammer and AoC comes out.

This was not a publicity stunt for Imus. The NBC execs just canned his show due to all the incomming pressure from the FCC. What he said is being totally blown out of proportion and he is getting crusified for it.

Its sad really, I blame the liberals.

Ok I just can't let this pass without saying something. After beta testing LOTRO I found it to be the most boring game I have played in a while and the graphics, scenery, and specialy the gameplay are NOT better than Vanguards. I'm just getting sick and tired of seeing so many BS statements about how much better LOTRO is than Vanguard simply because it runs better.

And if it hasn't been said already, if you have the curse and log into the game at daytime you will not get the buffs from it even when it gets dark. I get tired of having to relog at night time just to get it, should be automatic on at night/ off during the day.

I'm sorry for all you LoTRO lovers who just cant get over vanguard. I beta'd LoTRO and I have to say that it was so damn boring I had to struggle to keep playing it just to get my champ to level 10 to try the monster play pvp crap. What turned me off was that the classes and combat just felt lame compared to Vanguard. I mean seriously, the classes in LoTRO are just not intresting to me. I tried them all except loremaster and the only thing I liked was that I could kill sheep just by yelling at them with my captain until the devs made it so you couldn't do it anymore.

I'm also sorry for all of you who do not have a high end system to run Vanguard. I do, and run it at maxed settings at 1680x1050 on my widescreen and I LOL at people who say LoTRO looks better. The view distance in Vanguard is simply amazing as well as the volumetric clouds and the night sky.

As for Vanguard having a low population, well I play on the Targanor server and the population is anything but declining. The world is so big and there are so many starting areas for all the races that people are spread out alot more than any of the mmorpgs I have ever played. I see new housing going up all over the place, specialy southeast of Khal.

Yes Vanguard is bugged to hell but "gasp!" my friends and I are having fun playing it dispite the numerous annoying bugs.  Yes when it comes to performance LoTRO runs circles around Vanguard but what does that matter if the game itself is so damn boring it doesn't make you want to play it.

I like the combat system the way it is and it made DDO unique. I'm in LoTRO beta and it is using the old mmo combat system and I'm sick and tired of that. Its just boring as hell. I want to pay attention to the action in the game not the UI bar waiting for my cooldowns to reset.
