     The end of the keyboard in gaming would be the end of my gaming...I hate voice chat and most of the time I have to be quiet when I am playing anyway.....It seems that the further we go in this industry the more dumbing down and laziness we see.

            Use your brain how??....Every quest I have done has a meter showing exactly where to go and how far away it is.

          The cutscenes in TSW are actually gamebreaking for me......Way overdone and way too many of them.

      Well if its such a great market just bypass PCs and make it for the console only.......Oh yeah and your game will be extremely limited because of the controller and no keyboard.

     CC really ruined the fun in Warhammer....Playing a melee character past level 20 was a nightmare......THere were some battlegrounds where I couldn't do hardly a thing because there was so much CC available.....If youre going to use this type of stuff in gameplay then it needs to be extremely limited and on very long timers.

     Only 3 factions?? DIdnt they have like 8-10 factions in the ES series games??.....ALso I like how the 3 factions worked in DAoC, and I dont care if the game isnt a perfect sandbox lol.

       I enjoyed the first couple of themeparks I played, but I got tired of them fairly quick......Nowadays I cant stand to play them.....They were overdone and dumbed to the point that a trained chimp could play them......What I want now is challenge and the MMO market is not delivering.

They are making over a BILLION dollars every year from WoW, and it would cost maximum 50 million imho to texture the world in not TOR quality, not GW2 quality but proper modern game quality.  If WoW looked better than TOR, there would be no reason to play it.   I realistically just don't understand why Blizz cannot just spend 5% of their annual income from WoW on a good investment for the future. 

        I think alot of it has to do with performance....Remember they made the game with every PC user in mind.....They wanted their game to be played even on the crappiest of computers.....Having high end graphics limits your customer base somewhat, and makes it more difficult to have masses of players in one area.

   TSW seems to be a game that needs to have a trial as much as any game....I'd imagine shortly after launch they will have some sort of free trial.

     I dont think the game will be all that bad......Funcom tends to ahve some innovative things in their games that you dont find in other MMOs, and I expect to see the same thing in TSW.....THat doesn't mean I will pay for it or sub to it though.

      Im not sure if this weekend is actually considered an open beta...I think its still considered in closed beta and they are letting people in via invite.

     Good animations are a nice bonus, but that isn't in my top ten things I want in a game.....AoC had great animations and I didnt like it, while AO had horrible animations and I loved it.

     Dont only the US and EU pay subs for WoW (4-4.5 million if that anymore)??....I was under the impression that the Asian countries didnt pay a monthly but an hourly fee........

     Its funny but with the 3 factions I figured it would be more of a PVP game with PVE elements (kinda like DAoC)....... From what I have seen and heard though it sounds like its more PVE based.

        I'm the complete opposite...I do my homework on a game before I buy in and to be honest I've never regretted it.... Thats why I'm a big fan of the f2p movement as I can try games all day long and not have to pay a dime if I dont like them.

            It always cracks me up when someone is looking for a f2p game that the first game mentioned is a 30 dollar investment (and a crap game to boot)....There are way better f2p games out there that dont require a dime.....EQ2, LoTRO, DDO, EQ, ANarchy Online, Atlantica Online, and many others are light years better than GW1.

    Ryzom has great crafting/harvesting, but no fishing unfortunately......It seems most games have 3 of the 4 but not great for all 4...Those who mentioned LoTRO, it has the other 3 but crafting has little meaning nowadays and fishing was put in later as an afterthought.....As much as I hate to say it, WoW probably fills the bill for all of them as well as any.

     The more I hear the fanbois and trolls talk about this game the less I want to play it........Like many MMOs before it people have already made up their mind on this (good or bad) and I get the feeling we (who are not in the beta) aren't getting the whole truth......This is why I take the "wait 6 month" approach to MMOs.
