I don't want everybody to be able to achieve the same level of armor or weapons. I want ultra rare stuff that very few players in the game have. Not saying i would ever get it but i want the chance alone to be superior to everybody with a piece of armor as an example only.

I want tactics and strategy to be more important then sheer numbers taking some of the hack and slash out. Battles or encounters should be non stagnant with no ability to pattern it. What do i mean by that? Intelligent ever changing challenges that are can never be preplanned to defeat like todays high end raids in some games. Game companies have simply moved their games to easy mode. I remember in the day it took 100+ players to defeat a dragon in DAOC but now I've done the same dragon with 16 people. *Easy Mode*.. What does that mean? everybody has access to uber dragon gear and loot. Again another example.

So where is MMO gaming going.. Is it going to remain to be EASY mode with zerg fests with everybody maxed out in gear and weapons or is there going to be a company to drop the ball with something totally innovative and new even challenging?I personally think I'm about done with MMO's after 10+ years of them unless somebody drops something earth shattering with fresh, new ,innovative and imaginative game play. Something done by no other company. A game where there is some benefit to character development with a piece of luck factor figured it.

Then it hit me. What happens if they are all fundamentally the same? Get mission kill 20 critters, rinse, repeat and then madly rush towards level 50, max out in 3 months then wander aimlessly until your next subscription is due so you can quit. 

I don’t want another 3 month experience with an mmo! I seriously want to find a game that I can stick with for several years. 

Because if they all suck I seriously may have to buy a PS3…..gods have mercy on me!

Is anyone else scared or is it just me being a big girl’s blouse?  

Meaing its not the normal 3d sound that is left and right its all around based on objects that are in front of you and behind you and its all skilled based.. Sounds just like what'a need :)

Has anynone played Two Worlds, I know it just came out yesterday... unless amazon is wrong? its a single player game like diablo2 and oblivion and offers online features like diablo.   From what I Heard!  anywho I wanted to know if any of this is true or not? Please anyone with any info about this game or experence with it let me know? its a lot of money.

WoW Graphics simply are dated by now, and their Character Models simply look deformed. Not even cartoony, simply deformed.

The Graphical Style is debatable, or it isn't, since Warcraft always looked like that. It's simply Lore, but the Graphics are simply bad.

As games get better graphics the gamer goes lower and lower into cash amount... meaning they cant afford the new systems or upgrades.  

WoW will still be rocking it for years to come because of this and Second with their new expansion the game engine will be getting many tweaks(Graphic enchantments)

I thought they stoped opening new servers? just roll on a pvp server with me :)

Hey everyone, im going to be starting wow again and rolling a warrior class... I was wondering though if anyone would like to start it up again or reroll.  I've learned two things from WoW, its not fun unless you play with a friend and solo play just makes you wonder what you are paying 15 bucks for.

The oversight of SoE with VG is to have a pvp system much like L2... FFA and player run policing/bounties.  Since you want a big combat pvp game let me explain what SoE will be adding to VG over the next few Months.

 

(not in order)

1.Mount combat (air combat as well via flying mounts)

2. Land Control (still IF'y but they are hoping the guilds will make pvp like gang wars..(real life) you fight over territory but there is no real control over it... they may be adding things in the far future where you can take control islands...)

3. Ship combat. (From ships... which is already possible, just not cannons... since gun powder isnt invented in the Telon... can someone say catapults on the largest ships..... :) )

4. Player Bounties Posts/Signs near all inns (each with a different list or same)

Thats it ! but just think all that on FFA rule sets .... come its Kaos and any real pvp fan knows kaos is best served in mass amounts (server limits will be raised in merge as well :) )

But EQ2 is better at this point and Has the most conetent in any other game out right now :)

desert of flames is tier 6 ( 51-60 ) kingdom of sky  is tier 7 (61-70 )

in echos of faydwer u can play from lvl 1 to lvl 70 , but u will miss a lot of great content in the "old" world.

and i thought without having at least kingdom of sky u want get achievment lvl points , so buy the complete pack and be happy 

Be happy too I bought each one a week before Fae came out... cost me about 150 bucks for everything then BAAAM its only 30bucks for all :'(................

I want to get the facts stright for a few / a lot of you posters out there who say games suck because their a Asian grind fest even though you have never played them.  And to all you people who say the Asian style games are not popular, suck and just lack content.

As of right now from a private study based out South Korea threw Daewon Science College and a few other colleges.

there are currently well over 80 million pc video gamers but could not put a real number on it since they stated it was to hard to find the numbers.  With no  real records of computers and games sold in most EU, Russian and Asian based counties and the mass amount of file sharing in Asian based counties the numbers were to hard to pin-point.

Roughly 45 million+ are located in Russia/Japan/China/South Korea and neighboring counties

Roughly 20 million+ in EU to Africa

Roughly less then 8 million (Active gamers) in the US but growing higher. ( Roughly 1million-2 million a year) <-- no clue how they know but their Korean :)

And the rest thrown into Canada and Mexico/South America.

SO... to all you complainers and auto-haters out there keep hating Plz it makes you look bad.  But to everyone reading posts about new games mind one thing! When someone says just another Asian Grind fest, thats less then 10% of the Gaming community saying its bad

Asian Style video games have hit a record high threw out the world and are changing the style of EU Games/Gamers.

Cabal is the next big Asian style game in EU and have I believe 1million-2million register users.

Africa is stepping up and getting some gamers and Mexico and Canada are going to be coming out of no where really soon as the next big gaming community.

its said Mexico to South America/Cuba etc. will be the next big gamers in the coming years.

ON MY PERSON OPINION! American is less then 10% and we will only get lower.. but the facts show the more and more we sink into debt along with crime are gaming numbers will grow.. YOu know the age old saying, kids play games to escape the problems of today and school.
