The main reason that I didn't like it was for the reason that it's 2-dimensional anime. The only reason I tried it is because a friend thought it was awsome, and also because it has 9 million (or something around that) registered players.Very popular. Some sub reasons I dislike it is because of the Nexon Shop which everyone hates, the combat, which is Mario reminiscent, the limited classes, the Hax0rs, and finally the community. |

It most certainly isn't a scam, as the person above me said, many F2P games have to do this to make money. Three months is a long time, three months is probably more than I would spend on this game. And it's not like to change your hair it costs you so much. You're exaggerating, at least it's not like conquer online where they are selling xp. Shops are expensive so that not everyone will have one. Double xp is like that so people who can pay won't have a rediculous edge over people who don't. Look at the bright side, in a way this makes the game more fair. Nexon Cash can be earned on Gaming Lagoon, check out my link. |

I think that this is indeed a very fun game, especially if you're not willing to pay for membership. It actually reminds me of WoW, you know running through instances to gain loot and xp.It's pretty fun I would recommend it. |

General Discussion « Conquer Online 7/16/08 12:53:53 PM
Interesting, I also quit RS. It's especially interesting to hear it in the conquer forums... Yeah I played Conquer for a while, me and a friend. We played till a pretty fair lvl I went to about lvl 60 archer and he was a bit behind and decided to buy some dragonballs LOL. Welp, he left me in the dust. I quit. |

Check out IGN's coverage on Sword!

www.g4tv.com/xplay/reviews/1607/Sword_of_the_New_World_Granado_Espada.html This is a review from G4 tv, it's a little outdated, from back when I guess there was a lvl 20 cap before you had to pay. It's in my humble opinion a bit more accurate on rating, 4 of 5. |

Fair Review of Sword of the New World
General Discussion « Sword of the New World 7/16/08 12:17:45 PM
I've been playing for a few days and the biggest issue I've noticed is indeed the chat. I don't know whether or not they should open up the current chat, or open a seperate "newbie Q&A" chat. I'd like to compliment the MCC system, I just love it, it's very refreshing to see this used in an MMO. |

Sadly enough, what I heard was that only level 7+ families got the anniversary reward. Started that day exactly, and am currently enjoying it greatly. Happy B-Day SNW! |

Since he brought up "AFK leveling", I'd like to ask, How does this work exactly? I'm in the process of downloading the game and are curious to know- I understand what AFK is, just not how it's done or what the system is. Could someone explain this? |

Only $60 if you subscribe before the 4th!(I don't actually pay anyways.) Gah, even if there are not really 190k people playing, all that means is that noone steals my yews, right? I actually am a little excited...I think it may be time to get a job. |

"Simply put, we are trying to build the most enjoyable online role-playing game ever created"-CoS I would'nt give up on them just yet, they are determined. That goal is just rediculous, assuming that they only accomplish one quarter of what they are setting out to do, I would have to say that this game will be amazing. |

Eternal Lands has the BEST community I have ever seen in a game. Everyone is helpful and mature, it's a haven from bad community games such as Runescape.Give it a try, it may be the best game decision you'll ever make. |

"i bet there are a load of noobs who used to look into that duel arena and become a member just to take a look, so they have lost a lot of cash as well."-Liner60 A lot of cash? $5? And you act like all they're getting is a "crummy" duel arena...You only get what? 14 more skills? Members is Runescape F2P times 2! "i used to love going into the wildy and completely screwing someones day, its what made runescape unique, then they got rid of trading over 3k for f2p's."-Liner60 Oh wow, I bet Jagex is really sad to have lost you. "well done jagex.......you've screwed the 3rd most popular game in the world"-Liner60 Just taking a quick glance...hmm... It seems they have over 190K people playing this very moment. Yep. Their game is completely "screwed". They knew what they were doing. Runescape only goes uphill from here.

I myself am very pleased with the graphics update, people have been complaining about the graphics for years, and that their doing something about it really shows that they're doing their best. I actually like the graphics, I think they look good now, I'm not saying they're exceptional but I say that they're acceptable. |

Yes, it does seem to me that everyone in the free worlds(especially around Lumbridge) is a bit immature, but what do you expect? When you can make an account for a game and not even need an e-mail verification anyone (ages 5 and over) could very easily be playing in 15 mins! Maturity also isn't always an age requirement, there are very many adults 21 and above that are more immature than children. The maturity level seems to increase on members worlds I'm happy to say. |

I'd have to agree and disagree, demand for pking items have indeed dropped but has crafting ever really been a big moneymaker? Rune sets are'nt really that damaged due to rune sets being the best armor for non-members. (discluding god armors) Food wasn't (as far as I know) damaged either I don't believe, I think it may be exaggerating to say that without pking there is no economy, the economy is alive and well! (although controlled to a point by the Grand Exchange) |
