agree

 That's a shame...

 Awesome!

Lol turn based, I could just imagine getting hit down to 1hp and then just playing the waiting game untill you win by forfeit

PROS

Great game if you are bored and have no life.

CONS

There are a ton of hackers!

Battle System is horrible! Even though there are a lot of games like this, this is the most horrible. 1 Click and you start hitting the enemy. It would be better if you could continually press a button to hit it.

The whole game is about killing mobs of enemies while you sit around thinking, "When will this ever stop?"

The camera is also horrible. Sometimes it delays me from trying to kill something.

The drop rate of a rare item is like 0%.

The only way to get wealthy is by selling herbs or doing quests.

There aren't any friendly players.

Once you get married, your wife/husband takes everything and divorces you.

Scammers!

Over All

I think this is a great game......NOT!

Don't waste your time playing this game.

that's pretty harsh, I thought it was fun I can't believe your marriage ended due to this game...

This game is vaguely entertaining to play when you have absolutely nothing else to do. It is priced at the correct value. Free. It certainly isn't worth my paying any money. It is the best for the first few levels. And then the grind sets it and you are bored to the point of driving sharp objects into your own eyes.

lol, couldn't run it for a while, just upgraded and might give it a go.

where is the best place to start a character, like world i mean??

The first question is " Do you want open pvp".

The second question is " Are the bonuses of a high population server worth the headaches"

If you are a mostly solo player, you might be more content on a low population server.  You won't have to compete with other players for quest mobs, or for crafting nodes etc.  It's also easier to find rare mobs and things like that.  But the downside is you will have a harder time finding groups for dungeons at endgame.

I play on Fenris, which is a medium population PVE server.  I play horde, which is slightly outnumbered... but really that part doesn't matter because we win Wintergrasp 50% of the time and with the recent changes to BG's, being outnumbered there doesn't matter either.

It's also easier to build a name for yourself on a medium or low pop server.  I pug heal a lot, and as soon as I log in I usually get messages from tanks asking if I will heal them.  On the same token, I also have a big list of 'good tanks' and I generally know who the bad tanks are.

this helped me, thanks

I myself have been enjoying Sword of the New World, link to their forums here:

http://mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/193

It's very fun and worth a go, but if you'd prefer to use the cash shop in Last Chaos then try the link  in my signature, I'm not going to lie and say you could make $500 easy, but you could honestly make about $50 bucks in the first 12 hours if you're dedicated. Good luck! Also with Sword of the New World, you can grind away from your computer, or, you could actually just earn gold and buy characters.

Theres a Matrix Online game?

There has been one for a long while. Isn't a might bit obvious that there is by the way that this part of the forum exists?

Absolutely not, RS has many many players under the age of 16 that don't need to be immersed in a game full of "bad words, racism, sexuality, drugs, crime, hate, etc," as you put it. When Jagex made a 13 or under version of the game their subs increased 40% which means parents will let more of their children play if they can block out all of the offensive content.

Ages 14-16 don't need to be around that language either IMO and even though I don't play RS I would be happy to tell me friends young children about it because RS is a great game to break young kids into the world of MMORPGS.

Great way to break young kids into the world of MMORPGS...Makes me feel guilty like I'm giving children drugs or something. Hehe get them addicted while they're young, then we can have them go make us as many runes as we need! That's exactly what runescape needs, to give the already terrible community verbal weapons.

What's the deal with family level? What point is there to getting it higher? Do you get it higher by having strong family members or a large number of members?

I would'nt take the first post too seriusly. His name is "Sinking Ship" and he has but one post since 07. Laughable.

 Yes there are pvp servers.

This is the absolute truth, the graphics, community, gameplay, everything about it is absolutely amazing. WoW has no chance.
