im a hardcore fps, rpg, multiplayer gamer. But I hate the subscription model. So I'm quite weird... but yeah, pay to play is just wrong - thus i play guild wars, even that game I dont stick to too much.  Much more of CSS, DoD, TF2, Dota, SC, D2, and stuff like that. If they had an mmorpg as good as wow (graphics wise and grind wise) where you only pay for the copy of the game, and pay for microtransactions/ expacs then i wont have a problem with it. I think Anet has the model bang on.

I think their next mmorpg will be diablo 3 :D by the looks of things. Theyre trying to shift wow players to diable (obviously it aint mmo) but you get the point

never!!!! i dont think they will be releasing a  new mmo (or saying one) until late 09 or 2010. Right now theyre busy with diablo and starcraft which pretty much will occupy them for the next two years. Esp starcraft is likely to release at 2009 spring, and diablo thereafter

Getting cheaper as you go for the lengthier ones. I would love that. For example :

1 Week: $5

1 Month: $15

3 Months: $38

6 Months:  $70

12 Months: $120

30 lives woop woop!!!! You cant save the game thus restarting from zero everytime, and i memorised it up to the point of not dying till the very end. Hardcore times :D

although what pissed me off is that the turbo button on my console kept getting stuck.

starwars IS sci fi... with fantasy tinge to it. Its like medieval games witha tinge of fantasy to it.

To be honest ive had enough of medieval type games/fantasyish like mages, priests, swordsmen and stuff. Im sick an tired of it already.

4 series and the new nvidia cards (priced a lil bit higher) are coming out sometime soon (2 weeks time??) and then you can cash out on a new graphics card.

Dont get me wrong, the x1950pro was one of the best cards in its time. And i have constantly switched back and fort nvidia and ati, but my heart belongs to ATI (i always go for the underdog) they need our support, otherwise theres a risk of falling to nvidias monopoly

too bad this boards are biased towards mmo's

too bad in pc there is so much piracy. In my opinion valve has it best regarding piracy, and that is steam. I dont know why a lot of people hate steam but it works like a charm.  Playing offline is a pain tho....

Nevertheless pc has to come up with solutions to these piracy issues otherwise PC platform might die off. But then again, the boundary between a PC and a console is getting narrower.

One thing i dont like is putting in the game cd everytime you want to play it.. i call that bs

but the guy who created the legendary diablo series is on a company called flagship studios and is now ceo of Hellgate london which people are debating whether its mmo or not. Nevertheless, its still the creator of diablo.... its gona kick ass i aint waiting for any blizz games
