One contest for open world terrain, one for instance zones ( if applicable ), One for monsters/npc's . Etc. That's a great idea! Let the players decide it :) And the Devs could give the winning modder full credit, maybe a free 6 months of play as well, or something. I could see some amateur modders getting jobs from well made add ons.

If any company is going to be making money off a player made creation then that player should be compensated and free game time isnt it.

I have it for PC and its ok at best and I honestly dont see the online portion being very popular for an extended period.

I already play 3 2D Tile based Online RPGs in RPG Reborn and Kingdom of Drakkar. ( along with a remade version of an old game )

So my answer would be.. Yes I would play a 2D MMO.

Dont think 30 days of PSN+ isnt enough? Stock up on all those permanent items only PSN+ members have like themes and avatars and such. ( Obviously free games while on PSN+ are not permanent )

I played PSO1 to death on the Dreamcast.

Didnt really enjoy PSU as much as PSO. To much crafting and having to rush , rush , rush through missions is a big no no for me.

PSO was all about the cool bosses and loot.. Hope Sega doesnt forget that this time.

This is a completely different thing, which hopefully will be a detriment to your character, like, move speed down,strength slowly decreases etc etc :D :D :D.

Edit : I might as well just say it.. The bug with ZG that allowed a disease to stay on characters after leaving the dungeon. Entire servers were infected with it.

What AA wants to do isnt going to happen and I bet that this feature isnt in the game yet either and I dont think ever will be. Its just isnt good mechanics.

I personally feel that WoW still has the best graphics / animations out of any MMO out there.

It seems to me that so many of the people that bash WoW do so out of jealousy or out of the assumptiion it somehow makes the look cool / fit in. Its pretty pathetic.

I will take Blizzard over just about anyone.

Trion took 100 million dollars and made a slightly better looking Warhammer Online.. No thanks.

I dont know why people are hating on the levels.. Atleast it encourages you to play the game whereas skills just promotes sparring with a friend or guildmates. Thats what UO turned into ( and very quickly ) and thats what any skills based game would turn into.

People are also forgetting that it IS possible to have both in a single game. Having levels doesnt exlude the ability to have an underlying skill based system and VV.

A game that just has a skill progression system has 1 and only 1 goal and thats to increase your skills and that gets boring ( which leads to sparring ). But adding a level system with it you have 2 goals to shoot for. Instead of saying " No reason to grind much today because none of my skills are close to the next " you would say " I am going to shoot for X lvl today because none of my skills are close to the next ".

If a game is just going to have one or the other then levels are the way to go. It gives a player a reason to get out and do something instead of sitting around while looking for a sparring partner.

Since I like PvE.. 200 for me would be nice.
