After GW2, what are other AAA MMORPGs to look forward to?

Until ping is no longer an issue ( which will be never in an MMORPG ) targeted combat will be the obvious approach. |

I liked the flyovers they showed at E3.. Really clears some things up as far as the art goes and how well the game looks ( really liked how Skyrim looked ). Though I was disappointed they didnt show any real gameplay. |

I am sure housing will make it into the game at some point but some need to understand that placing a house in the game world most likely isnt going to happen..Housing just isnt something that can be thrown together on a whim to please people. As far as classes are concerned.. Does it really matter? There have been base classes in TES games for a long time and just like those game they have already said you can use whatever weapon you want no matter your class. |

Hope we see a ton of gameplay during E3. |

Considering so many people would want housing out in the game world I am glad they decided to hold off on it for now because housing in the game world just isnt a good idea IMO due to all the clutter that would ensue. That doesnt mean they couldnt have used a system like EQ2 though but they obviously had something else that they thought was a higher priority. Housing is the least of my worries in an MMO. |

Looks ok to me.. How it plays is what really matters though. |

This game has been in development for years already and is due out next year.. This wont accomplish anything. |

I just want to explore the massive world that this game is going to have. The class system doesnt bother me..In the end it all turns out the same with copy and paste builds and a skill system without a skill cap just leads to tank mages and master of all unblanaced igorance. I want to know more about the crafting in particular though. |

Read the whole thing.. Sounds good to me and as long as the game runs well I dont mind the graphics either. I like the sound of being able to roam around and happen upon a quest that can be done without having to head to a quest hub all the time. And the PvP sounds like it has ideas that old DAoC players suggested to Mythic a long time ago like being able to take over farms and such to help your side and not always going head first into a zerg. |

Will this game take place far enough in the past that the Dwemer ( Dwarves ) will be around? |

Originally posted by ShakyMo You do realize that ToA released before WoW... Right? lol. And Matt Firor left around the time Mythic was bought by EA I think. |
