Unless games like "Counter-Strike" and "Team Fortress 2", required End-Game content. I see no reason why APB needs it. The emphasis of level-ratings in that game is just to control customization and weaponry options, not who the hell you're fighting. This isn't a damn MMO as much as it is an open-world deathmatch. |

WAR40K Dark Millenium - Only Two Factions Confirmed
General Discussion « Warhammer 40K: Dark Millennium Online 8/25/10 10:16:38 PM
I see no flippin' reason why the Tyranids would ally with anyone. Nor do I see the Necrons allying with anyone. The only ones that make sense to ally in any given manner are the Dark Eldar, Chaos Daemons, and Chaos Marines. |

This has to be the most positive thread I've ever seen on mmorpg.com. Amazing! |

Y'know you could always play Age of Conan =P |

Avoid EVE-Online. I like the game and the universe, but the learning curve is 30 minutes at least. There's so many tools and aspects to the game that its not fast to learn. Everyone else has made decent suggestions. |

Aion is not released yet. Next closed beta is on the 14th. Yes, you have to wait. Waiting sucks. No, there's nothing you can do about it. |

Originally posted by Pyrostasis Wow... Thats some hate there bro. The main issue is I have to buy accounts for my family. My father, brother, and myself. that measly 35 as you say spikes up to 105.00 as opposed to 45. Thats a 50% savings. Lets talk about my 20 many guild, thats 700 instead of 300. So yeah... Im a bit disappointed. I do enjoy UO, and DF... looks good. However, not good enough for me to buy the game twice. For you it was, and Im glad you did. However, when a small dev company comes out and makes a product, and I take a risk on them, and they promise me that they will take care of me, then dont, and demand I repurchase the game... its only natural for me not to want to give them more money. If you personally dont have an issue with it, thats fine. However, when someone tells me one thing, then does another, it tends to ruffle my feathers a bit. You are a much more forgiving man than I.
Pyrostasis. Why the hell are you fighting for a decent game that's backed by a manipulative-hack of a company? Are you THAT masochistic and desperate for a UO-style game? Seriously, stop it. You've been aware of their corrupt business practices since earlier, why care enough that you allow yourself the possibility of being suckered in? Please man, have more integrity and stop supporting this company. The game is decent, fine... but the company is a load of shazbot. Stop supporting them by caring and paying them! And y'know what, spread the word while you're at it--- Darkfall is great, Aventurine sucks! |

Having been on PvP servers and being tired of it, I've grown adjusted to the masochism of death. So Sorcerer I go. My secondary will be a Templar. I need to compensate for my masochism by being a bit on the defensive side in the latter. |

I agree with Wizardry. The FF-Online (whether its XI or XIV) games do not need "jumping". The only time I've seen jumping as any sort of necessity is to scale obstacles in order to hide or break Line-Of-Sight, which is often for PvP moreso than PvE. And the FF-Online games are very much PvE than anything. Plus, jumping is a luxury that a number of games don't care for if it doesn't contribute to their vision. I doubt anyone has complained in FF-Online so far that they need jumping as a necessity. |

There is Limited Collectors Edition and it is boxed. It comes with DVD of the game, manuals, soundtrack CD, some artwork, a 6.5" action figure, etc. which was available at Gamestop for awhile, but its no longer available there. I am not sure if the LCE is around anymore, but you could check Amazon, Best Buy, etc.
Ah, you mean this: http://news.mmosite.com/content/2009-05-31/20090531191725108.shtml
I stand corrected. But to the OP, there's no more of these available. But if you managed to secure one, congrats. You do need to receive the special registration code from these stores... if they don't know wtf you're talking about, you're getting ripped off. |
|

First off. The Collector's Edition isn't an actual box... its Digital. There is no special anything inside the box aside from digital items and early access and closed beta entry. Second, where did you preorder? Different distributors have different rules. GameStop has horrible pre-order code policies and employees have or have not distributed the proper material if you pre-order with them. We'll be able to help you better once we know where you pre-ordered. |

Errr... Wow. I couldn't disagree more.
Only 5 hours? Wow, I guess YOUR after-parties weren't that great, huh? :( |

19 hours to go from 44 to 45... seems normal, I remember classic WoW being like that early on to some degree and EQ as well. But let's talk about the grand-daddy of all leveling times... how long does it take to gain a level in FFXI towards the end game? Since 44-45 is like 54-55 in WoW/EQ and FFXI is like what--- 70s ish towards level max? |

So... i watched your videos... and the first thing I noticed was that there were people lag-jumping all over the damn place. |

I would like to add that you can switch zone channels at any time, should you and your party members be divided into two separate zone channels. |

Gladiator is a DPS class. Their description states that they can take on multiple guys, but they can't take a lot of damage. |
