And NOT IN THE GAME. Im talking about on their Site/ the Log in Box. If theres a way around it then please Do tell. Otherwise the rest of you can go play Darkfail. you sould like the fanboys from over there anyways.

I still have NO idea what you dude are talking about....?

Why do you need the LOTRO site to play, for starters?

And the login box... never even check it. Fire up the client, enter PW, logging in. There are AD's? Playing for 2 years, this is news to me :)

What a wierd topic.
I think he means the add in the launcher, u know the dwarf holding a big axe, and it says something like Lotro for only 9.99£.

Cant see its a problem, as long as theres no ingame adds they can put all they want in the launcher / on their website.

The instancing regulates itself because if it didn't the areas would be packed, and people would bump into each other all over the place.

When there's less people, there's less instancing.

If he doesn't want the instancing he basically wants a server with less people, and Funcom won't change the size of the zones for him or everyone else, that's left for AoC2...

So agree with the guy saying this is a retarded thread yes.

<modedit>

Cant rly see why its so retarded. I played AoC at launch and loved it all the way to lvl 35. The only part i rly hated was grouping, because it was so hard with the instancing. Took lige an hour to finally get into the same instance. And that killed my immersion of a open free world totally.
But that dosnt change the fact that i liked the game.

And its funny your writing "he basically wants a server with less people". Have you never played another mmo? It is possible to make 1 server with lots of people and still have fun.

But now someone tells me, that they have removed the instancing, and that make me wanna play again. But im not gonna pay 20$ to find out he was "adjusting" the truth. So excuse me for asking!

But seeing the mature crowd answering to this thread (sorry to those who answered my question, and not just flaming me), dont make me wanna go back to AoC at all. Ill just go back to lotro, where ppl actually are nice, and theres no such thing as a stupid question.!

Regarding getting the group in the same instance, that's something they've fixed. If you zone into a different instance than your group, you'll get a messagebox askiing if you want to switch to the same instance as your other team members. So that's at least not an issue any more.

But if instances and zones at its core is breaking the game for you, I would think that AoC will never be your favorite. That's just the way they decided to design it.

Guess your right.

Think it's a shame, would like to see an sandbox mmo with that kind of combat and graphics..

Ur problem is?

So they didnt remove it, but theres just no ppl playing it anymore?

Heard some1 in lotro talk about they removed the layer on layer world instance. If thats try, i might give it a try again.

So is it true?

Well no matter what people write in forums, its obivious that subscriper numbers are going up. Just look at all the recent post about lotro on this site and half the screenshots on the main page is from lotro. If thats not proof enough, look ingame. I had to wait around to get to kill a certain mob yesterday. Cant remember thé last time i did that :)

Just hope it last :)

troll or not, you wont experience this in WOW, LOTRO, AOC, EQ2, FFXI, Vanguard or any other of those grindfested heavy PVE based games.im sure the only game that comes close is DAOC, which i never played, but heard of the good RVR. I have played all the above for an extended time, today was the first time i experienced anything like it in any mmo. it was epic.

LOL Machine you are almost the exact rank and renown lvl i am, im 23, RR12(almost 13). I play on Wasteland we have a 400 person guild. 70 were active tonight  we did that keep seige.
