LOL sorry for the trolling but I hate AOC so bad I had to post.

No I haven't played WAR but I have played AOC and it blows. I've never played a game that couldn't hold my attention for more than 2 weeks. AOC is so bad that even if you like it you won't have much to do in about 6 months because the sub base is dropping close to the 100k mark and Failcom won't have the money to finish their beta game. So we all wish you luck but at the same time we all know you are heading down a dead end road, sorry dude. We all wanted AOC to be great and we all got lied so yes we will come in here and let everyone know how we feel about it, sorry about that too.

Do you really not know why people post here about this "game" from Funcom? Why they hate it so much, and the reason they are letting everyone else know? Well, sense you have no clue let me break it down for you. Funcom lied to everyone and are still doing it today. Read your box, a lot of things are missing, go to Youtube and look at some of the videos Funcom Marketing put up to sale this game, a lot of what they pushed isn't in the game or doesn't work. So it's everyone RIGHT as a customer to inform other players of this. So you will just have to deal with it. I spent 50 bucks for a lie from Funcom so I'm telling everyone I can that the game stinks, I wouldn't play it if it was free.

Preorded AOC, played for three weeks then cancelled my account, game blows, wanted it to be great but it isn't, even without the bugs it's just an empty game with not feeling to it, grind grind, nothing to do, dungeons are stupid, bla bla bla, really really wanted AOC to be great. Went back to WOW...blaaaaaaa yuck but my friends are back there soooo. Now waiting on WAR to come out, will preorder it, hope and pray that it's great so I can cancel WOW.

Actually your kinda wrong with your statement. They replaced Cities with battle keeps and made two primary cities larger with more content. As for the removed classes they said that they were not fun to play from the feedback they got from beta. Actually I'm excited about the changes they've made to WAR. I believe it will make it a better game and it will leave room for more later. Think about it this way, at least they didn't tell us that all this stuff would be there and end up not being there, AOC, Failcom. I think the group at Mystic is being upfront and honest and actually cares about their customers.

Don't feel ripped off dude, think of yourself as lucky that you spent the 48 bucks and didn't have to waste your time playing this POS game. I did it and I think I feel more screwed than you do at this time.I actually had to play AOC, I think I just gagged something up. So enjoy the fact that you didn't get to log in and feel that pain that most of us had to feel playing AOC.

They did, so cancel your account like the rest of us did and move on. The game you have now is all your going to get, sorry for trolling but I just got pissed off this morning because Funcom tried to bill me for another month of AOC when I cancelled before I even finished my free month.

AOC is not a great game, Funcom lied to everyone about this game and they are paying for it now. And what gets me is that they still think they had a great launch. OK, tell me which one is a great launch.

AOC- 700k sold, after first month player base falls to around 200k

WOW- 250K sold at launch, over 1 Million player base after 6 months.

ummmm AOC is dead, Funcom is dead, and they have no one to blame but themselves. I wanted AOC to be great, I wanted everything they promised us. But their attitude to their players and the game they gave us, come on..lol

Again, Fanbois, enjoy the game you have right now because that's all your going to get, there will be not PVP, Servers will merge in the next couple of months, dead game, dead company, enjoy :)

I come here from time to time only because I feel like Funcom ripped me off when I purchased their so called game. I know a lot of people that purchased this "game" understand but I'm not sure why everyone else doesn't. Funcom is pushing the negitive people out of their forums, they want you out. If you say anything bad about their game you are going to be tagged, and if you make a wrong move you will be banned period. Their game blows, their customers service blows and their feedback to their player base really blows. So just cancel your account and move on like the hundreds of thousands of us did. Go back to WOW, EVE, EQ2, whatever, get back with your friends playing a game that you will enjoy and have fun with, forget Funcom and AOC, it's dead. For the fanbois write this down, in the next couple of months they will be merging servers, period and I wouldn't be looking for any PVP stuff, they will not have the money. Funcom is hurting bad and without the money rolling in every month it's over. So enjoy what you have now because that's all you are going to get, a sucky buggy boring game, enjoy

Kinda old news about him, has been posted already.

But the biggest part of it is the response he got from all the other AOC users. About servers not being populated, Guild pulling together and afer this last month having only one or two people on in weeks.

O and the interview with that dude from Funcom talking about how great everything is and how wonderful things will be. OMG what planet is Funcom coming from. If you have an issue address it openly and stop telling lies, umm like you did about your game when you launched it.

Everyone says AOC had a better launch than WOW, O really..lol So tell me which one is better.

WOW launch around 250K then builds to over 10 Million or so they say, but shit ever cut that figure in half and it's still good, or

AOC launch around 700K or so they say and est has dropped to around 200k actually users today and falling fast.

Now which one did better? Not a WOW fanboi but come on people. AOC could be a great game, i say could be because it's far from great now.

1. Your not telling us the full story, which give me a break you know some people aren't going to believe you

2. You account was hacked, unlikely because you said your account was not active.

After what happened to a lot of us with our purchase of AOC I welcome the changes Mark announced. I'm also glad that Mark didn't wait until after the game was release. Imagine buying a game that had this great PVP idea, posted it all over their website, developers Youtubing the way everyone was going to fight these big battles only to buy the game, that had it posted all over the box and nothing, you have nothing, no real pvp, no big battles.

Now if Mark would have done that they would just put themselves in the same boat AOC is in now. 700K sold, 500K leave after first two months. It's better to have 250K to start and build to 1, 2 or 3 million from there, it's how Blizzard did it. Get a good basic game out there and build from that. People are getting bored with WOW, I know I am, and if you are upfront and honest with us we will buy your game and if the game is polished we will pay you 15 bucks a month to play it, O and we'll tell our friends who will tell their friends and so on.

Most WOW players will buy WAR and will try it out. Why? because they are getting board with WOW. Same PVP, same dungeons, same world, over and over and over. So you say WAR will be that way when WOW is already like that. So I don't really understand your point. I've been on WOW for three years and do like the game but somthing else would be nice. Everyone should think that way, why can't you have more than one great game out there. So what if WAR ends up being good and half of the WOW players move over. Then you have two great games to play with 5 million on each, now that would be great. Don't be a fanboi for either just love the fact that there are companies out there trying to get our business, it only makes things better for us. So keep it up Blizzard and EA, spend that money, make some great games, I'll love you both for it in the end.

WTF, that video is soooo old. Darkfall keeps playing the same thing saying it's new and it's not. If they do not get a big company with some green to back them up you will never see this game, period. Look at all the money AOC had and it still blows. I have been following Darkfall off and on and really like the ideas they have but I really don't see this game ever coming out and I think mmorpg.com needs to require that Darkfall provide some updated video's of actual gameplay or take them off these boards.

So if your one of those that want to reply to this with "dude you don't know what your saying and Darkfall is coming out, and it rocks or whatever" I say prove it, show me updated gameplay, show me a new video, show me something that hasn't been out here for more than two years, you can't do it, it's not there.

I was able to play AOC for about two weeks then dropped out. Not a hateboi or a fanboy or a troll, omg those are just the lamest things to call people that are stating an option. Anyway, I was very very excited about AOC before it's release, I got my copy the day it came out, loaded the game and started playing. Graphic were great, fighting was different and kinda cool. But then the "boring" came to me, I just couldn't get into this game, it did not suck me in and keep me wanting to play. We did try, I even forced myself to play and see if it got better because I didn't want to go back to WOW. Dungeons boring, question boring, community boring, loot boring, i can go on and on.  AOC will be lucky to hold on to 200k and I mean very lucky.

Yep, been on WOW for three years now, tried LOTR, suck, tried DDOL, suck, tried AOC, kinda didn't suck but does, back to WOW, waiting on WAR, please don't suck because WOW is just getting old.

WOW player for 3 years now, started getting bored with like three 70 horde toons all geared out with two sets. AOC came out, wooo hooo, bought it, played it, cancelled my account, back to WOW, omg, didn't think it would happen. Have a level 20 Ally hunter that I started building because I've never played Ally, feels new, kinda. Waiting on WAR to come out, hopes it's better than AOC is.

I just cancelled my account the other day. I was trying to figure out what was missing from AOC that was keeping me from wanting to log in and play for a few hours a night. I found myself logging in and within 30 minutes I wanted to log off. I love the graphics, best I've seen in any MMO, love the combat system. So what is it? what's missing from AOC? I just can't figure it out.
