New Browser-Based RTS, Caesary Launched!
Open Beta Discussion « General Discussion 7/07/10 11:24:29 PM
Lekool.com has launched their new browser-based RTS MMORPG, Caesary. It just opened recently and is in Open Beta now....they're opening up another server tomorrow I think. Has anyone heard of it? It's being compared a lot to Evony but I never played Evony (their ads looked wierd). But Caesary looks really awesome. |

See, here's the thing: People complain so much about the game and yet they never do anything to help fix it. Here's the typical process an average player takes on: GM: New patch coming out! PLayer: The patch is bugged! GM: *busy doing stuff and no response* Player: *starts cursing randomly* Other Player: Calm down, be patient :) Player: Outspark SUCKS! *rambles away* That's basically how it goes. I find it rather amusing. Outspark's forums, in my opinion, aren't necessarily the ONLY place where you can post up feedback. I would think most players would go to other Fiesta-related sites and post up feedback. If the GMs don't pay attention to their own forums, you can always post on forums they have no control over and I'm sure the staff of other fansites will contact Outspark directly and say "hey, something's wrong...we got feedback...please fix it" In the end, it's up to Outspark and OnsonSoft on how things will be fixed. The game isn't perfect. If you want to have more vents, instead of bugging the GMs about it, why don't players make events themselves? A game is run by the community. Most people will say "all the company cares about is money. f*** them!" The truth is this...without money, there is no game to play. WHere do you think the money comes from? The players of course. So why do the players complain about it if they are the ones paying for stuff? Paying for item releases that they complain about....kind of ironic. A gaming community is controlled by the community. I've played MMO games long enough to know this. A company will not change the way it does things unless something drastic happens with the community. If they start receiving complaints from experienced players and players that are close to them or start having a downfall in amount of people buying their item releases, they will be forced to change things up. Overall, it's up to the players if they want to pay for stuff. It's also up to the players on how to follow through and make sure their feedback is heard by the company. I've played Fiesta since CBT and I am still active in the community. If you hate grinding, go do something else. Go enhance your weapon...go to an instance dungeon...go chat with people...go make guides for sites. If people start acting immature, then just ignore them. I've had so many people come up to me and harass me about my character's level and whatnot and I just shrug them off. That's just how it is in an MMO. My advice is, stay in the game, give it a chance, and just have fun with it. Get involved with the community and have good connections :) |

lol, that's a good question regarding Asian games. I dunno...I guess, that's just the way it is in the Asian culture. WHy change something that's been done for generations. They simply improve it over the years. If they were to change the graphics on the anime, it would lose all of its fans because there wouldn't be any originality or the same "personality" to it anymore. People wh would say "FINALLY, the anime graphics changed! I love it!" would be contrasted to those who were original fans of the anime and be like "what the heck happened...?" As for in-game weddings and such, you don't like it? Why not? I think it's pretty cool since it actually brings in some of reality into a virtual game, which is awesome. As for the video, Outspark just released a new Fiesta trailer today. You can see the new video on Youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RP1dwjt-PZo In my own opinion, when I saw the trailer, I was like....FINALLY, they released a new trailer. I think they did a great job with it. I love the new footage and the catchy music. |

Ok, firstly I just want to mention the fact that the first page of threads should be a lot longer...half the forum is sticky threads :( Secondly, what do you guys like in an MMO? Have you guys played Fiesta? That's actually the MMO I am playing right now. I'm actually involved with a fansite for it as well as other community projects but umm....out of curiosity, who here plays Fiesta? What is your personal opinion on it? I swear I won't kill you if the game sucks (but if you do say the game sucks, explain why) lol. How would you compare Fiesta with any other MMO? (wierd question but yea, I'm curious about that one as well). Have you guys seen the new boss release in Fiesta? There was a guy who killed himself like 3 or 4 times sacrificing his character's life to allow everyone to see what the new boss looked like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFh0FvDTwO4 And for the first time ever, Outspark gave all the high level players what they wanted: new quests. That was in their last patch release.
But yea, what do you guys think about the game in comparison to other MMOs? |

I will start by saying that it is "boring" ONLY if you make it boring. I can say this on behalf of my 2+ years of playing Fiesta since it first launched into Closed Beta. It is true that many of the events are very much cash shop-related, however there are ways that you can enjoy the game without having to spend money on cash shop items. Whoever tells you otherwise, I would not listen to. You haveto be positive about the game. I am not saying the game is perfect, however I've stuck through with it for a long time and enjoyed my time there meeting a lot of great friends. The game has many flaws. Players complain about it. But what don't players do? They don't work to make the game better. It takes effort and a lot of professionalism to go up to a GM and give them your feedback. If that doesn't work, look around for someone with connections to make sure your feedback is heard. Also, Fiesta is a game where anyone can play it and make their own events. Outspark is one of the most active communities I have ever seen. It is a great plaec to do any events because that's something the community loves doing. Overall, you can enhance your items, do quests, fight monsters, do instance dungeons, and enjoy the scenery. The game is very easy to learn and easy to adapt to. Just give it time and hang out with the players who are friendly. Outspark just released a new update to the game that you can see here. Check it out :) |

Yea, one of the items in Fiesta's St. Patrick's Day celebration was a green dragon mask...
Has anyone seen it yet or done any of the events? The events go until the end of March :) |

Oh yea, there are ads everywhere that shows Fiesta. It's not a bad game...I've played it for 2+ years now and I've enjoyed playing it. It's a fun game...it's nowhere near what you would expect from P2P but overall, you meet a lot of good players in game and there's always something to do. I prefer F2P over P2P. |

I'll join in the conversation by saying the in my own opinion, I think Fiesta Online is one of the best MMOs I've ever played. I've played other MMOs like 9Dragons, Cabal Online, GunZ, and the popular Runescape. Cabal Online was pretty good but I quit after a while. I've been playing Fiesta for 2+ years now and I would never leave. You're not required to pay money for itt, however it is optional to pay for premium items but that is entirely up to you. The community is great and there's a lot of adventure in the game. Don't expect it to be a perfect MMO because it's not perfect. No MMO is. But I would highly recommend Fiesta as an anime-styled 3D MMORPG for anyone to play. If you ever need help, you'll get a response from any of the experienced players. |

Has anyone seen the new Elderine map in Fiesta? It has a much livelier look now than before. It looks like a park now, which is great. Here's a screenshot someone had taken:

Ah, vladakov posted about the employee issue, my apologies. Still, if a person in the community wants to start posting about a certain game, then let them post. There's no rule stating that you have to post about different games. Akasha loves Fiesta. That's great. If she were to play another MMO, I bet she would be more than happy to discuss her experiences with that MMO |

MMOman101, so you are telling me that if a person were to discuss how much they loved the game and so forth with the kind of format Akasha displayed, they are an employee for a gaming company? That's funny. I could play any MMORPG I want and I can tell you that if I were to create a discussion about a certain aspect of a game or how exciting a game was, I would most likely use the same format as Akasha. I'm huge on grammar and I like to create threads/posts that are informative, exciting, and visually appealing. I agree with Akasha that Fiesta Online is a very exciting game and I would recommend anyone to play it. It's not the most "perfect" MMO out there but it's a great game I've been playing for years now. |

Would be interested in hearing what a player has to say about this game.
General Discussion « Secret of the Solstice 2/12/10 5:57:27 PM
It's a really great game. I mean, it's compared to Ragnorak Online a lot but when I first played it, I thought it was more of an enhanced version of Runescape lol. To be quite honest, none of the forums here aren't active as much but hey, it never hurts to post. But if anyone plays Solstice, they got a new item release out which is really cool. You can check it out here.
