The way I see it is why do you want to believe in a God creating us when the story of evolution and we came to be is a far more beautiful and fascinating story. Science has proven sooo many facts we know today but we still havn't even touched the tip of the iceberg, soo much that doesn't make sense and that we don't understand, so imagine everything in the future which we'll discover.

Sure a God could have created us and maybe thats where the universe came from, who knows, it's unlikely but so was the world beign round at one point. However my problem with The Bible and all that was this dates back to thousands of years ago where we didn't have the technology or understanding we have today. We looked up into the skies and was amazed by what we saw and thought things like the Sun was God, we didn't understand what we did today. Whenever someone got ill we preyed to a higher power to save us and for a miracle to happen. Then also Religion became of a way of control to bring law and order into this world and for selfish leaders to follow them and their God. Religion has also been used as a tool to keep women out of power and because of jealous men didn't want their women straying away like they did.

IMO religion as we know it is a made up fairy tale from when we didn't have the technology we have today for something to look upto and because we couldn't understand or want to believe that when we die that's it, there must be a reason for living, when the truth is there probably isn't one.

I like to believe in what we know in science today with Evolution and everything happening on the earth because of pure chance like our Planet being just the right ize and just the right distance from the Sun. I like to believe we're all made up from chemical reactions and that when we die our bodies decay and get turned into other elements and compounds and we make something else, like for example what I'm made of today could have been parts from human beings or other animals thousands of years ago. The water we're drinking today has been in other animals and humans to help them live, we're 3/4 water and most of the water we're made up of has been in another human at one point.

However because theres sooo much yet to discover lots of what we know is just theorys built up upon theorys, like most of Atmoic science we still understand hardly anything about. Like Sure there are Atoms made up of Protons, Electrons and Neutronsbut then they go even smaller and these particles are made up of smaller particles (forgot the name) then we enter the unknown of do they go even smaller?

It's the power this knowledge has given to us Humans that Religion doesn't want us to know and is trying to restrict us, without finding out the existance of the Atom we would never have been able to create Nuclear power or the Atom Bomb and these are great leaps in technology for us which will help to advance the Human race over possible alien threats or effecting the worlds we live in less.

I'm going on and on now but my Basic points is don't just believe in something because you're told to.

1. SWGemu is using the SWG client so when you run the emu on Xfire it shows up as SWG.
2. Only on average; Xfire users playing per day 918.

So that's like 900 users playing SWG a day on xfire and alot of them are probably emu, I know 3 of my ex guild mates run the emu on Xfire for example.

Most people who play games like EQ don't even use Xfire.

So you can't count on Xfire numbers.

I don't see why you should seeing as it's the same client, will just need patching from their patcher.

I don't see why mmorpg companies have a problem with gold buying because it's not like you're generating cash from nowhere, it's not breaking the economy because it already exists in the game, if they made money making more fun then people wouldn't buy it.

I hate hearing that or go back to wow.... if i ever hear them in a mmorpg I quit the game.

Their download service is VERY VERY slow.

What should take my connection like 40 mins to download a 8gb game it took a day or so lol.

+ patcher time is another bug SOE havn't fixed since all these games were launched.

Also to be fair to WOW it currently has the best PVP out of any mmorpg despite all the flaws, the combat is easily the most fun and polished and balanced despite what all the class whiners say. The new BG's like the normandy styled seige layout where I'm guessing you have to knock down buildings with seige wepaons also looks very kool.

Yeh they suspend you for any old reason in that game, they have enough subscribers so they don't care.

For me it was the industrial and Market side.

I just quit actually after a month or two playing because you eventually get bored of the same thing, everything in EVE feels like a grind, just doing the same repetitive task over and over again like Mission terms in SWG. The PVP was fun until I realized it's whoever has the most ALTS wins and really I want like the tournament PVP with rules put into the game like WOW arenas or something becuase the world PVP is sooo crap. The final thing that made me quit EVE is the horrible community, it has the most immature and nasty communities I have ever come across. You know them elitiest 13 year old communities where they all say to new players to go back to WOW if you make a critiism about the game or if you ask for help. Also in local it's just full of people arguing and slagging eachother off.......

Just eventually got bored of the game.

If they put that market into a mmorpg with fun gameplay like WOW then it would be great, I really loved the depth of it.

It is hard to feel like you are different in a game where everyone starts where you did, does the exact same quests you did, getting the exact same armor/weapons you did until it spits you out 70 levels later.  My first 3 months in SWG from launch were spent in and around Moenia where I first landed.  I became a medic and then a novice doctor helping the local population heal after battle with creatures and the imperials who lived around Theed who would drop in daily to fight.  And yet another player with the same skills as I did had an entirely different experience, perhaps fighting on Tat as a Imperial or making armor for both sides Talus. 

 

I always felt that live teams/events should be the main form of content in MMOs.  Imagine a Imperial attack on Moenia that lasted for weeks with random attacks by walkers from outlaying bases.  Beseiged rebels would fight, medics would heal, entertainers would lift your spirits and the local crafters would be there to replenish whatever.  My experience would be completely different than anybody elses, yet we all would have experienced the "First Imperial Seige of Moenia".  I could live without quests and trinkets and loot farming for something like that, but it would take a complete revamp of how you run a MMO.

These are all the professions that don't need quests but people to do what they do. Combat classes however content is defined by quests and such.

Also this was a Star Wars mmorpg yet it was nothing like Star Wars and everyone was complaining about that. The biggest fact when the game was first launched was Star Wars is mainly set in Space so where is the space? lol.

Fucking hate WAR Europe it's complete shit compared to the Americans, I don't get why the game has to be localized anyways, I want to play a mmorpg with people from all over the fucing world and not be restricted.

Who gives a shit baout having a 100 ping in a mmorpg because they're playing on server from overseas?

I fucking even did it with Planetside and never felt any lag.

You just know also WAR will be very unpopular in Europe like most mmorpgs are apart from WOW, DAOC and EQ2 are both dead in Europe and so is Planetside and SWG etc etc.
