Glad they put some effort into advertising the F2P. Wish EU TERA did something aswell :P |

I heard from a reliable source that they are going to charge people for different kind of Foundry packs. I.E Tile sets, objects, monsters, events... |

Originally posted by rojo6934 Biggest issue I have with Tera aswell, the quest grind is really long/repetitive/boring at times. Although I don't have anything against the traditional quest grinding as long as it has enough instances and other stuff hidden in between. B&S has really easy levelling courve in KR and they westernize it even more when it arrives to the west. B&S also have solo instances so pushing those in levelling experience makes it stay fun for bit longer. Ultimately I'm not worried about B&S levelling. |

Originally posted by Epic1oots I was rather disappointed with GW2 aswell. But then again comparing it to a console game that lasts for 80hrs~ is a bit silly. They are constantly updating and patching the game. Making more content and fixing the issues. These updates are completely free so after you buy the game, you don't actually need to put a dime in it to get all the upcoming updates except for the major expansions. |

Originally posted by sadWinds Pugs probably don't want a mystic if they can get a priest. Statics usually run with Mystics, because people are skilled and don't get hit too much. Mystic's buffs provide better damage and faster clears. In kTera (different version) everyone prefers Mystic over Priest because their skill level with the game is completely different from ours and they even consider Priest a noob class. In the end it doesn't matter which support you play but in my opinion:
Priest for Pugs Mystic for Masters. |

Why hype something that is 6-8 months away. Let's see when the NA/EU closed beta starts in the future. NCSoft should push this game out before Trion releases Archeage. If these games come out neck and neck B&S won't even stand a chance. This said, if B&S is F2P/B2P it'll do just fine, as a subscription game I can't gurantee anything :p |

These korean action combat games are bit of a niche, but they do have a solid fanbase in the western world. Tera was doing "ok" and now that its going F2P it has more players than ever, which makes me believe tha B&S will also have loads of people giving the game a try. It's a big plus that B&S starts and progressess a lot faster than Tera so people won't give up on the game pre-level 22 like it's with Tera. It's obnoxious how many derpies are calling Tera's combat slow and static when they haven't seen it in the latter levels. Guess their non-existant attention span and need to get everything "right now" will work better with B&S. This said, I'm really excited about B&S because I love skill-based combat and since is still months away I have plenty of time to play Tera Having no healers and the intense 1vs1 duels are my main interests. |

User rating down to 6.6 is a bit harsh don't you think ?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 2/03/13 5:17:45 AM
The levelling experience is around 8 for your first playthrough. Even if you choose different class/side the 2nd playthrough isn't even close as much fun. Everything else in the game is pretty much a 0. So yeah, I think 6.6 is bit harsh because it should be around 4. |

Because of 3 factions there's never a situation where you can't win. If 1 side is dominating people always gang up on that faction. |

None of the pre-orders are worth the money. Having the first pack valued at 50$ gives reference of an insanely expensive cash shop PW-style. Considering the dungeon master tool needs to bought aswell there probably won't be a massive community in creating adventures, which becomes their downfall. Unless they change their stuff this game is going to sink. |

287K active daily players so far in Path of Exile
General Discussion « Path of Exile 1/31/13 6:58:44 PM
It's odd, I was happy to spend a lot of money on D3 collector, but I can't be arsed to buy stash for PoE. Guess the charm lies in being free.
Good thing is that PoE is constantly getting developed and updated so there's new stuff to be seen. Unlike D3 with it's 4 month shitty update cycle. |

The game isn't _that_ good. But it meets the demand and the F2P model is awesome. |

Failure? I think the idea is great. I'ts your typical Diablo clone with constantly adding new classes/content. |

The choice: New server or existing one?
General Discussion « Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn 1/31/13 11:44:35 AM
I'm quite sure the old servers will die horribly. Considering the economy is built on the old v1.0 version and all of it's updates. Fresh start, fresh economy and fresh community. |
