Originally posted by eHug That'll take you awhile. But I'd say you need to farm them and spend gold on broker to actually get those 2k alks. They did improve the enchanting giving you a better chance for upgrading everytime you fail the enchant so it'll take less alks to enchant a full set. But basically you get Alks for playing the endgame and you got higher chances for success now. Also dungeons drop MW'ed items now so selling those will earn you few pieces aswell. |

Originally posted by JudgeUK Other way around. Priest changes were really minor in this patch and mystic got boosted forward. This is because they improved mystic's healing & longer range on auras so basically they improved mystic's damage boost while at it. The patches in KR have lately been about buffing priest because it has fell really unpopular noob class over there. And the latest changes in KR involving energy stars buff have definately brought Priest back to Mystics level. Current situation @ NA/EU after this patch is that Mystic is a clear winner which the next big patch might turnaround again. This said Priest is still better for Pugs while Mystic shines with premade.

Originally posted by eHug The chances of getting MW alks is quite high. People are farming ET and getting lots of them. Also at the moment they are not going to put MW alks in the cash shop so only way of getting them is through playing or buying from other players (+ the lockboxes). Sure you can boost your way through just like using RMT for in-game gold but it definately doens't block anyone from competitive gaming. |

Since they added the lockbox system from GW2 you can gamble for MW alks in a sense. But the keys are really expensive so I doubt people will be spending too much on them. Tera EU is basically a F2P game with a sub that gives you some boosts and an insanely expensive cash shop if you wish to put some more money on top of that. This said it's completely playable as F2P and you can stay competitive without putting any money in the game. But the possibility of going heavy spender still exists. |

Oh pwease. GW2 PvE is a faceroll compared to Tera. PvP is related to the skill of your enemy. |

I heard from a reliable source that they are going to charge people for different kind of Foundry packs. I.E Tile sets, objects, monsters, events... |

Originally posted by rojo6934 Biggest issue I have with Tera aswell, the quest grind is really long/repetitive/boring at times. Although I don't have anything against the traditional quest grinding as long as it has enough instances and other stuff hidden in between. B&S has really easy levelling courve in KR and they westernize it even more when it arrives to the west. B&S also have solo instances so pushing those in levelling experience makes it stay fun for bit longer. Ultimately I'm not worried about B&S levelling. |

Originally posted by Epic1oots I was rather disappointed with GW2 aswell. But then again comparing it to a console game that lasts for 80hrs~ is a bit silly. They are constantly updating and patching the game. Making more content and fixing the issues. These updates are completely free so after you buy the game, you don't actually need to put a dime in it to get all the upcoming updates except for the major expansions. |

Originally posted by sadWinds Pugs probably don't want a mystic if they can get a priest. Statics usually run with Mystics, because people are skilled and don't get hit too much. Mystic's buffs provide better damage and faster clears. In kTera (different version) everyone prefers Mystic over Priest because their skill level with the game is completely different from ours and they even consider Priest a noob class. In the end it doesn't matter which support you play but in my opinion:
Priest for Pugs Mystic for Masters. |

Why hype something that is 6-8 months away. Let's see when the NA/EU closed beta starts in the future. NCSoft should push this game out before Trion releases Archeage. If these games come out neck and neck B&S won't even stand a chance. This said, if B&S is F2P/B2P it'll do just fine, as a subscription game I can't gurantee anything :p |

These korean action combat games are bit of a niche, but they do have a solid fanbase in the western world. Tera was doing "ok" and now that its going F2P it has more players than ever, which makes me believe tha B&S will also have loads of people giving the game a try. It's a big plus that B&S starts and progressess a lot faster than Tera so people won't give up on the game pre-level 22 like it's with Tera. It's obnoxious how many derpies are calling Tera's combat slow and static when they haven't seen it in the latter levels. Guess their non-existant attention span and need to get everything "right now" will work better with B&S. This said, I'm really excited about B&S because I love skill-based combat and since is still months away I have plenty of time to play Tera Having no healers and the intense 1vs1 duels are my main interests. |

User rating down to 6.6 is a bit harsh don't you think ?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 2/03/13 5:17:45 AM
The levelling experience is around 8 for your first playthrough. Even if you choose different class/side the 2nd playthrough isn't even close as much fun. Everything else in the game is pretty much a 0. So yeah, I think 6.6 is bit harsh because it should be around 4. |
