I just want a game with some different features and if they release what they say they are offering i will enjoy it. 

 I'm interested in this game but i'm not going to pay $15 a month for it as i'm generally a casual gamer. I think this company should try a payment system where you buy login time, now that would be unique and i then i can use my time we i have time. If i was to pay $15 a month i'd just buy the next wow expansion and pretend i liked it because it is bug free.

Hopefully the devs realize that the game needs more polish before going live and delays its release for about 6 months. I pray they know that all major features should be included and working on release day or they will lose many players after the first month. My recommendations to them would be, 

1. delay launch

2.lower subscription cost, say to $7.50us.

3.Change look of ui so it is more UNIQUE.

 Maybe just wait for All Points Bulletin, bit like GTA i think.

 Maybe give Some F2P games a go until some good titles get released eg, SW:TOR. maybe try RoM or TCOS for a while to wet the appetite. Then hit sw:tor, aion or GW2 when released.

 Does anyone else have troubles registering for the forums? I cannot tick the i agree to terms and conditions box and when i hit join it says error you are not logged in.

Hey mate, i went to the acclaim website and messaged support about it. just got an email back tonight asking me to contact them with my mmorpg account name to fix the problem. They said the winners had already received the  30day subscription but just like you, and others,  i did not receive anything information from acclaim about the subscription.

So, give the spellbourne/acclaim support a nice msg about it to try and get your prize. As for me i CNBF with that game now.

I voted Aoc. i have never played War because that game is based on a game primarily built on war between people, therefore it has that Pvp RvR emphasis to it. I enjoy PvP every now and then but i go for FPS games like COD before  fantasy mmo pvp. I've Only been playing AoC for a short time(resubscribed) but its fun,PvE and PVP, and 10x's better than it was at release. PvE is a must frankly, and if it doesn't cut it the game becomes a bore, so if WAR's pve is so poor why are you still paying to play?

I thought maybe a new game would fit the bill for you but looking at the list of games in development  your out of luck. Any chance you can change what you like to a sci-fi genre game? planty of those coming out. SW-TOR, SG-worlds and Star-trek to name a few. its sad but true that wow is probably the biggest raiding game out there ATM and no other game looks capable of replacing that until everyone gets really bored with it(ME) or decides to have a real life(Me also). +1 SW-TOR cause i love sci-fi.

That is why LOTLK is on the right track. Some content (H, VA raid, OS raid, Naxx broken up into small chunks) is geared towards short play duration (20min to 1 hr)

 

 

 

     I would like to agree with you .. BUT.. part of it is wrong in my opinion.. Heroics runs = good..   VOE raid = good..  OS raid = good, but Naxx run = BAD  (just like Kara and the new Uldar)  These dungeons are 10 man 12+ boss mob runs.  The biggest problem you have is that people are ID'd to these dungeons and ONCE they get ID, they wish to RUN a complete clear at one time.. Hence, 4-6 hours for most groups.. I'm a parent and hubby and don't have 4 hours to devote in the evening for these types of dungeon runs.. It would be one thing if guilds would do these runs on weekends in the day.. BUT since servers reset on Tues, 90% of all guilds start their run Tues night, or Wed..  Pugging Naxx runs on weekends are next to impossible and ONE royal pain in the arse..

     In my opinion, using an ID system HURTS the social WoW communitiy and adds to the drama in guilds..  Get rid of the ID system completely

I can remember the pressure to keep going for a full clear. Thats why i hate being a tank now. I love tanking but if you need to pull you get alot of pressure to keep going which you can to same extent but i have a life too(TWO KIDS,WIFE=LIFE).Shorter runs means more fun IMO.

Things like this only happen in America. When will american judges grow some balls and stop pathetic lawsuits like this even making a court room.

I'm 30 years of age now. I've tried 'em all and my first MMO was anarchay online (atleast i think it was)

We can all bounce from MMO to MMO looking for entertainment but it's my personal opinion that some of us MMO-veterans are just too old. Maybe it's just me?? I can't even last 1 week in a 2 week trial on these games anymore. They're all the same and even games which attempt to be drastically different like  EvE online can't keep me glued like they could when my mind was a bit younger and easier to entertain.

I think you have hit the nail on the head, I'm 32 and i too cannot last 1 week on any mmo atm. Mmorpg's are now old and worn and i think we just need an mmo that we can connect with a bit more. I'm personally waiting for  TOR because i'm a starwars fan and i'm not going to try any mmo until this is released.

Tera looks really great. Good looking graphics and the game play looks nice and fast. Hope this gets released in Australia.
