If they did make a game out of it, it would probably something like the Salem MMO.  In fact, if the Salem MMO works out, it may even open up a chance for a decent MMO for this to be made.  The other option would be to make it take place before the books, mostlikely in the age when magic was more commonplace for obvious reasons.  The downside to this being the lack of familiar characters and interactions (which are one of the biggest draws of the series).  This idea could be done well, though it would need to imploy lots a writing talent, and it would still need to pioneer some new ideas.  It would have to be as well funded as SWTOR and possably even more ambitious.  

The Idea sounds fun, mabye full pvp could go in to, if civilization dies then there are gonna be raiders, people who move from place to place, hmmm now it sounds like it could be a mix of EVE (never played) L4D (never played) and DF (never played), hmm, I'd play it. 

The servers have been down the last couple of days, hopefully it will be fixed soon. 

Neocron is having issues with paypal, so any person who has made at least one monthly payment to neocron through paypal can now play for free, if you have not payed before it is only 5 pounds or euros, I forget lol.  Either way it is less costly then other MMOs that require 15 instead of 5.  This game is worth it though and I sugjest you try it out. 

Ok, basically I have played LOTRO before, on this same account, but recently every time I try and start LOTRO once it gets to the screen that shows the turbine sign after it loads the game just turns off.  I am using the free trial and have a vista, all the other times it worked but it didn't show the turbine sign, now that it's showing that sign however it freezes up and the game shuts down, then something from the computer comes up and says that the LOTRO client has stopped working.  Any info would be appreciated.

I need a little help with loging in, basically I am trying to log in after registering my my account and entering my free trial code, but every time I try to log in I first type in my member password and it works but when I enter the PlayOnline password and it says that I have missentered my username or password, now I know I haven't screwed up my username since it doesn't even ask me for it and I type in the password I enter, but nothing.  So I am asking if anyone knows something to do if they forgot their password or something, so I can get a generated one and enter the game.  Any info is appreciated.

Does anyone know a good place for a lvl 28/20 mage to hunt? any answer is greatly appreciated. 

Basically, I am wondering if, for example, a lvl 45 mage went to lvl 50 and did not use the 5 skill points, then became a wizard, would those 5 skill points still be usable, like could the player spend those points on wizard skills? Any answer is appreciated.

hmm, I may rejoin then, because, while I didn´t go super far the stories of people getting whiped out quickly and stuff disheatened me, wasn´t the reason I left but it certainly didn´t help.  Thanks big time for the anwser though!

I was just wondering, would there be a difference between someone who maxed out mage, then maxed out wizard, then maxed out high wizard to someone who got wizard the second they could and got high wizard the second they could? I mean theoretically the person who maxed it all out would have more skill points in earlier skills that might still come in handy (not sure if they do) and thus, they would do more damage.  So I was wondering if this was the case, any answer would be appreciated. 

Can someone please give me a quick rundown on how demonologists are doing now, both in pve and pvp.  Any anwser would be appreciated, I played a while back but kinda got disheartened by the fact of hearing about 1 shots and stuff, this probably won't bring me back but I kinda wanna keep tabs on it in case the game develops a little more into something I would go back to.

Why would anyone want to drive cars? theres hyper-jump, even at low lvls you can easily  leap a building as long as you keep the skill up to you lvl then its an effective way to get around and it both looks and feels cool. 

I actually played the game a short while ago, it's not dead, far from it, I got into a crew went to a huge party with a DJ (yes a real person not some NPC) and he put up great songs and took requests, there was contests everyone had a blast, I might just go back on again, I left because something weird was up with enemies dmg to me but it coulda just been something weird I didn't notice, either way the game is fun and skyjackle ( I think I spelt that right) who puts up tons of movies from it on youtube will give people buddy keys to try it out if you need it, also the game run fine on vistas for anyone wondering, also the close up (interlock) combat looks amazing, I sugjest everyone give this game at least a try on the buddy trial or something like that, it is really good and to be able to leap to the top of all but the highest buildings in the game at like lvl 15-20ish is really amazing, and it loads fairly good to boot.  Try it before you condemn it. 

P.S.  I know I use run on sentences and I am trying to not do so but it's a bit of a habit of mine. 

I beleive what your looking for is called "simulation based gameplay", other games like what your thinking about are force unleashed and cellfactor revolution ( the force unleashed with objects breaking nice and cellfactor with it's wonderfull physics system), personally I would love to see a MMO with something like DMM and havok mabye even euphoria.  It would be undoubtably cool, though I would just be happy if a MMO had DMM and some sort of physics so you can break things and have a use for DMM.
