I made a trial account, and started downloading the game. I'm currently up to 13% in the Mythic Downloader, still on art.myp If I close it, then open it again later - will I keep my progress? Do I have to finish art.myp? What do I do? Thanks. (I couldn't post this on the Official WAR Forums because it wants me to select a Chracter - and I have none since I haven't been in the game ...)

Though little things like the Guild/Chat system are pretty poor - this game is really actually fun! I would have preferred it to be darker, more like the movies. I really hope another Pirates of the Caribbean MMO is made one day - which is bigger, better and for an older audience.

They aren't just going to reveal the entire game a year before it's released. And if you think the game won't be out before 2011 ... you need to do some more research. They are quite far along - and are using a very fast engine (the Hero Engine).

General Discussion « Pirates of the Caribbean Online 10/04/08 11:54:29 PM Pirates Online manages to give the excitement of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies now and then. I think it is definitely the best Pirate MMO ever. I think that if they were to make a Pirates of the Caribbean Online 2 - with realistic graphics, slightly more violence and darker storyline (not a little kids game any more) that would be the greatest MMO I could imagine ... I sure hope this could happen one day. It would also definitely have to be released worldwide (not just in the U.S.), and have a few different well placed servers around the Earth.
