I am here to get input from the community here. If you enjoyed old school and sandbox style games, then your response is highly encouraged!

I would definitely play a redone Ac game.I played addictively for 4 !/2 years.I thing game mechanics Skill/exp purchase should remain in place just updated graphics. One thing I would change would be allegiance system exp points. You should not getting exp points for people underneath you this only encouraged Exp chains and the such an made the game loose a lot of good people who didnt want to deal with it.I admit though the last 2 years I joined a chain because that was the only way to get above 126 +.I leveled a lot but still it is a grinding game which is good,The people today wonder why they loose intrest in a game when they can max level in 2 weeks. They would appreciate their characters better if they had to work for it.Challenge is half of it of the fun.If they scould incorporate some skill base attcks for melee and archery the game would be perfect.the games today are no comparison to how Ac was pre shadow wars patch. Most people who dont rate Ac high are the ones that never played the game. Please make this game! |

Since KotOR is NOT Sandbox - We Need an Oblivion MMORPG: Customization, Options, Deep Questing, Freedom!

I would love to see a game that is maybe a combination of Oblivion/morrowind (I actually liked morrowind better Though) and Asherons call. The one thing i9 didnt like about oblivion is where you get location symbols on your compass of dungeons and caves it should be like morrowind and Ac where you actually have to find them.I liked the game mechanics with skill/exp point purchase in Ac but would enjoy combination of both as well as seamless world. Also I think what we need is a Darkfall that is real and not vaporware it has all the best gameplay items you could want but I am afraid it is too good to be true.sadly.Maybe The chronicles of spellborne will be a surprise |

Seamless world.Dungeon/cave instancing ok though.Sandbox style.Skill based.Either developed or in the works?Played Asherons call for 4 and a half years.Loved it and would be great to find another game like this again. |

Like I said, from what I have read on this forum there is alot of conflictingting information .Good and Bad.It is hard to know what to believe. |

Well its fantasy, but i enjoyed Ac1 more than any other sandbox mmorpg I have ever tried |

From the videos I have seen it looks like it should be what Aoc should have been.I read so much negative stuff about it being vaporware. Is there anyone who could investigate it to see if it is fake? How long has this game been in production?I remember hearing about it a couple years ago in passing. |

Until exp chains were set.And yes I was in one So I may not be able to talk ,it took probably 2 years to reach just level 100 with regualr playing let alone 126,So I am not sure I agree with that statement that is a 1 to 2 year game ;plus it is still being played today after 9 years although the community is almost gone. The heavy grinding games took a long time to level ,of course we had a lot of pride in our chracters because of this.which is a good thing i think |

I played Ac1 for 4 1/2 years amd enjoyed it immensly.I would like to find a new game that has similar game mechanics, sandbox style with no or very little instancing also with seamless travel.Does a game still exist other than Ac 1 itself or is there one currently being developed? |

Ac 1....Only bad thing about was the graphics.Quests ,game mechanics and size of land area was excellant. |

Yeah it seems like there is a lot of hand holding in todays Mmorpgs.I have been out of it for awhile now but just from what I have read.I miss the old days where it wasnt linear at all and you could do pretty much anything until the sentinels would show up ..Hehe. |

I was so looking forward to this game.I have been lurking for a few months now. From what I have read though it is very much instanced which I dont really like (reminds me too much of the old sega genesis RP games..lol.)I loved asherons call 1 and played it for about 4 1/2 years before I finally got burned out on it.The size of the land mass and free roaming was incredible although the graphics were 1999 vintage.Anyone who has played Ac1 truly knows what I mean it was a skill based game also. The quests were great and numerous. Is it as instanced as everyone is saying? I hope not? |
