The dial in authenticator only supports World of Warcraft.

anyone who has a IQ over 5 could see what there doing.free weekends every weekend,there just fluffing up there numbers so it looks better then it actually is

I don't believe they're padding numbers. As far as I know, they can only include current paying subscriptions in their reports.

As soon as GW2 is released and word gets around, people will start asking themselves why the hell they're paying Blizzard a monthly fee for a game that's not as good.

Some hopefulls will buy MoP and then quit again after being let down. But Blizzard will already have their money, sadly.

Clueless or knowing what people want?  I'd go with the latter.  Top mmo for a reason.

Just because people want something, doesn't mean they should get it.  Players want 40-man raids back.  Should Blizzard give it to them, even though current content doesn't require 40 players, but only 10 and 25 player raids?  It wouldn't make sense.

Blizzard wants people to solo the game to max lvl, so they let players do it, which makes the whole cross-realm zoning idea redundant, which makes them clueless on their own content.  If they bring back group content besides pvp, dungeons, and raids, then cross-realm zoning would be perfect.

The only reason Blizzard is implementing this is to cover up the fact that low level areas are mostly dead. Who wants to level up in areas and rarely see a soul? WoW peaked a long time ago and they're trying to cover up the fact that fewer and fewer new people are joining the game. And fewer vets are rolling alts. To many, the game has grown old, stale and boring.  Sadly MoP will not change those facts at all. MoP is just a cash grab, plain and simple. Blizzard has proven for several expansions now that they're incapable of improvement or inovation. No biggie we'll all have a new game in a few months :)

Cataclysm was crap, MoP is crap, D3 is crap (in D3's defense, the devs that worked on D1 & D2 did not work on D3. But to anyone who has been in beta, that's blatantly obvious). And what makes you think the same development team is going to produce anything in the future other than crap?

Titan? Really? You don't even have a clue what Titan is gong to be so how can you be so excited? If Blizzard doesn't hire some real talent and change their whole way of thinking, Titan will also be crap.

I avoided playing SWTOR because of all the hate it gets, but yesterday I bought it and played all day. And wow! This just overtook WoW for me. The world (on origin world, and it only gets bigger) is huge. Graphics are top notch, in terms of art style and the customization for characters is amazing. But what really stands this MMO apart from the others is the amazing voice acting. It is better than Tortage in AoC, the only good part of that MMO. I just love going through this huge story that other MMOs just don't have.

 

I mentioned graphics, which are amazing and some of the best of any MMO. But the animations and cut scenes really make it. I've played SWTOR for about 10 hours now and having the most fun I've had in an MMO. My guy is a Sith Sorceror and its amazing going pewpewpew.

 

Also, the community is actually better than WoW's, which a lot of MMOs fail in that regard. There are people all over the place going about their business, chat isn't full of trolls complaining about WoW and getting groups is incredibly easy. This is probably a better grouping game than WoW, which already was good for groups.

 

Anyway I'll end this year as I know a lot are like "tldr"...so to sum it up: Best MMO since WoW, maybe the best MMO ever and everything about SWTOR is amazing. Never have I been so into a story in a game, MMO or not. Will definitely easily have 10 million subscribers or more if they keep coming out with updates.

What is so god dam hard about getting it right, Its like they give cool things but then take away other things, why can't a MMO have it all for all types of player, is it that hard to just set up a server with a FFA rule set now days?  One server IMO can only do a MMO good not bad so I fail to see the reason.

I understand that in GW2 we all all trying to kill some dragons but that still lacks reason why someone can't attack a alli or enemy, it;s like all MMO's today are created by a bunch of pansies that hate, fear the thrill of a online Worldy danger unless it is scripted, I mean really WTF is going on with this industry? 

Don't push your lame ideas onto a game that doesn't need them. You want to be some e-thug, go play something that supports that garbage. GW2 is not for you, move on.

At this point, "making WoW better" really isn't an option. They need to completely remake it - WoW 2. And that in itself will have to be an absolute killer game above and beyound. It would have to comletely rock the mmo foundation.

MoP is a complete joke. It's the same boring, lame, old, over used  concepts.

They need to get over it and realize WoW has run it's course. Either come to the plate with something new and earth shattering or just go home.

At minimum I need to see either an in game footage cinematic or actually play the game.

I have absolutely no confidence in Blizzard to produce anything even remotely awesome. Just look at the last few years of WoW plus D3 is a joke. Probably find something better at the bottom of a garbage truck. Bad track record is bad.
