I just joined up BKB "fredimac" still duno why thats my name lol but you guys have been a blast. My first impression is changing I have an idea how to play better and the armored car seems to work for me. Holly hell what a bad experience. I didnt even have a chance to name my toon he was pre-named. No training tutorial walk throughs, no interface walk throughs, np command walk throughs. Tell me one army in the world past or present that had 0% training. I read the up comming patch notes and there is still no training walk throughs. The training server was also a bust as it needed a mission to get going and a recrute cant make a mission..lol! I would love the chance to make a difference on the front but....we cant. This is the worst rating I'v given on a mmorpg..just a bad experence.

I would be happy if there was simply no scenarios period. Then people would be out there pvp'n over keeps. I'v only seen one battle so far were a keep even had a deffender player., and I cant say how many times I'v ran to deffend a keep only to see no one attacking. 

Its very fustrating.

I think if the bassis is a social MMo with lots of dancing emotes and maybe SWG like dancing traits it'll be fun. Maybe add a PvP type system ware we can fly in space customize our ships and fight eachother to gain controll of sectors. Perhaps a Hex flipping system, each sector flipps to the other side color when a squadren of fighters takes the basestation or somthing.

If you purchased the retail box or the direct download after installing the game it will down load a 32 GIG patch then a 10 meg patch and then 2 other 2-9 meg patches. More as they try to optimze the game. If you  a player donsent have cable or DSL you will not be able to patch aas your banwith is used up in most contries at 10 GIG per month max.

Give it to a friend at Christmas and play StarFleetCommand 3 for free lol. 

Still a great game.

Just a short note on the OP 's point number ONE;

Yes the frame rate is crappy even on a computer with a windows rating of 5.1 (mine ) and my buddy's (7.0)

I think its all a network issue on the code side the game FPS just drops  when other players come into view.

I think they can over come this but I dont know if it will happen anytime soon.

The games recomemded specs not min are 4.8 to run on high.

It's just not the cas atm.

We could all speculate why the frame rate is so poor but there really is no point. It simply has to improve before all of our thirty day free trail is up.

Then we will see what the fram rate is.

AoC is nothing but a gank fest.

I am a huge Conan robet.Howard fan and know the lore top to bottom and all I have to say is AoC is a huge gank fest. Days go by when I want to play and when I log in someone is swinging at me.--All this and on an RP server too boot! There is no difference in rules from an RP server to a full PvP server toons all round here.

This game sucks because I cant get the chance to explorer or even simlpy talk to people. They just start swinging all the fracking time. I killed my fair share but to be honest, I dont play games to get fustrated so guse who?

why is my frame rate 7-12 at best on low settings? even out side of tortage

any ideas?

Not yet as I'm stuck in a quest and cant leave. Every time my character get into a building my frame rate just stops. At best 10 per sec and my options are lowest possible the game looks like eq 1 atm for me. with a computer that exceeds the RECOMENDED spec by some degree. not the min but the recomended specs. My video card is an nvidia 8500 with pixle shader3.0

Now I know the game is only two days old but if it cant run on an average video card it just cant be played.

I dont recomend it to anyone till it is optimized further faster.

Hi all i'm in AOC and doing the storyline quest ( the awakining) were we have to grab the key and then the gem. Lvl 15.8 and I have a problem, I have no frame rate inside the castle. 0.0

My game just stops I'v tryed windowed mode and turned all to 0.  even at 1024x768 still the same thing.

Any ideas or other peeps in the same situation?

Buck Rogers mmo. It is somthing not being done yet tho and when you thik about it every toon in an mmo has arms and legs and such.

What if we could make a toon like this dr.teopolis guy and have no limbs? Rolling around into adventure might be kinda ..well different. I always did like the show buck rogers. what do you people think if this mmo had a class with its only functionality as its brain? We had to always think.
