Star Control 2  is one game I'd like to see remade.

Nice, much improved on the PS1, but still keeping those fun top wall walk ways around the base to give it the PS feel we all know. Nicely done PS2 team!

Yes they are, hence why to get any actual MMO where the content is still the players I'm waiting for Planetside 2.

Seriously though, PS2 and Firefall are the two upcoming titles that I'm looking forward to the most just to break away from the "standard" MMO's and FPS.  

Tribes is a lighthearted goofy FPS, not a game for barely semi-serious simmers or anyone interested in anything that remotely resembles strategic and/or tactical FPS gameplay.

Jetpacks on the Vanu MAX is a different thing, they sacrificed shields and firepower for that ability, and their range was pretty small, they couldn't jet all over the place like in that goofy tribes game.  They could barely make it to the top of the tower.  That was the Vanu max's niche, bu tyou give infantry a jetpack and it will no longer be a niche it will be over-used like the retarded ORbital STrike and Reveal enemies.

And again, a big reason BFR's were hated because they were flying around all th etime and you couldn't hit them.

As a Vanu player back in the day, you could get higher than the tower and land on top of it with a Vanu max unit. You just needed to be running mode. I often went in to the air from a run turned off running mode in the air and  killed those below me as a method of Vanu max crashing the enemy defences of a tower. Having  jetpack  unlock as a choice for every side to have on their soldier will be a bad idea, this is Planetside and hopes it stays that way and doesn't try to steal Tribes thunder at what Tribes does best. Look what happened to Battlefield identity when EA put weight on Dice to go after the cod crowed, you ended up with a game that's gave up traits it was well know for to try be more like something else it didn't need to be to compete.

Brilliant for kids yes, childish and immature for older gamers.

Three months after release you'll see the outcry from this game community as people get through their single player experience crammed into a MMO and start wondering where the MMO is for their end game when they start to get bored with the shallow pvp side of the game and the lame PVE hoops developers like to put at end game in theme parks that will get you something to put in your ship no doubt.

For me I find TOR dull and lacklustre. For a game that's classed a MMO is just huge step backwards in the letters MMO.

Great story for kids you mean. Any adult playing this game really needs to ask themselves why they still find kid content in games appealing. This is a great MMO for kids, and a medicore childish one for adults that are not losers who fail at life.

This a great example of a immature person who doesn't get it.  Why do you need to insult somebody for having a different opinion? You wouldn't go round and reply with harsh words to every stranger that struck of a covo with you and had a different opinion during a day out in real life would you? if you did you wouldn't get very far before your behaviour is called out, why do it online? The product you PAYED for comes with a TOS, you may be a bit young to know how the real world works,but just because you handed over money you are bound by agreements to still use it. Welcome to the real world kid.

It's time for immature posters to act like they would with people in real life when communicating with them on forums. It's up to them to learn social skills, if it means they get their games banned, well then good, maybe they'll learn to be more civil in getting their points across instead of all acting like their from a South Park episode. More gaming companies should be doing it like this.

 A little story. A once proud Pc developer named Dice created a genre of fps we all were dreaming off, they continued creating great online Pc fps gaming. Then a company by the name of EA took them over and merged them with the rest of the  independent developers they devoured over the years.

 EA  has drummed the mantra of "must beat cod" creating a game that's trying to be BF and COD at the same time. Where I'm I going with this? Well the once proud independent Bioware is no more and part of the EA collective, and the mantra of must beat WOW is has been at the heart of TOR development, just as "must beat cod" is at the heart of BF3 courtesy of EA pulling the strings which I  suspect will result in  Bioware game that's missing touch it had it rps pre EA

You know they're gasping to try stir some interest when they bring out the old Borg card again. How dull, the Borg again, yay. How very Borging. Who in their right mind hands money over to play this insult to the Star Trek IP? Star Wars theme park MMO for kids, a badly made one at that.

The Third Grand Era of Games: Social & Mobile Gaming  as he calls it, will not produce the next RPG to end all RPG's I'm afraid. His failed a lot since Ultima and his gone into this area to play it safe for his next project, I doubt he'll bring a revolution to the social gaming scene as his stated in a interview last year. I'm willing to be bet it will be more an evolution that will still offer the same shallow crap ass gaming designed to make you micro pay through it.

The Third Grand Era of Games: will be the era of the faster paced twitch reaction MMO & motion MMOing/ Online gaming. Mobile gaming always been there, social gaming gamers are made up of people that are not gamers if that makes sense. Which another reason his going to these people to make games for.

Yes antec are good, their PSU's aimed at gamers are solid. Antec PSU you want is called the Gamer series.  The Antec Gamer  620watt will handle your 6990.

We have all those players who kept putting down loads of cash for playing cards in hopes of an uber in game item. SOE eye's nearly popped out their head seeing how a certain group of gamers are willing to spend to be on top, and now this is the way SOE run. I'll play PS2 no doubt and will decide what money I will throw at it from there, love PS too much to pass it up.
