Change the face in to a white gooey mess maybe? Does Darkfall spit or swallow?

Just goes to show, MMO companies should put a lot more effort going after the buyers and making big examples of those caught. It's these turds who causing this.

Simple solution is to change to an ISP that caters to online gaming and media streaming, they are out there and easy to find in most countries where the internet has become part of the home. Online gamers should always go for the smallest company ISP as you'll get the best service from those, compared to popular ones.

Do you guys expect this game to be better that CO on the pve front?  I don't know much about this game, but I like superhero themed mmos.  Currently CO is one of the games I play and I enjoy it, so I was wondering how you guys feel about the development of this game and how it might comparedto CO (how it is going to be better and/or worse than CO).

DC is the far better IP, it's got far better super heroes to make the stories with, the DC IP just dwarfs the CO IP!  Most had never even heard of the CO IP until Cryptic made a MMO based on it, CO feels very lacklustre as a IP and a MMO,  it was never a popular IP even as a card game, why they thought  it would make a appealing super hero MMO is beyond me, SOE won this race for sure.

They listened! Good to see they came to their senses and put a bridge in for launch, the bridge is a major part of Star Trek, to release a Star Trek MMO without one would have set the wrong tone for the game at launch, the game need to be complete to hit the ground running as Trek Fans are very unforgiving to lack of attention to important detail of Star Trek.

I''ll be catching up on a lot of missed single player games until Feb next year when this is released! It's the only MMO I want to play now when faced with all the choices of MMO out there now, I'm very jaded with them.

This is what the AoC Dev team should be doing. Too many damn late night cocktails.

That's because Funcom are not using a game engine that doesn't require any programming skills to makes these changes to the world and things in it, go read up on the company behind the FE engine, it details the building tools in detail and boasts how it doesn't require the developers to know programming just how to use the tools to build and change the world.

No not at all, all my special memories and experiences in life all happened in the real world, I had fun in MMO's, but I don't take them so much to heart that I feel sad returning to one and discovering it's old, dated and a shadow of its former self. I don't use MMO's to make friends, just people to play with in the moment, I have real life for friends and conversations, I'm not sad enough to only get that sat on the Pc on vent playing a game and getting upset returning because they're not there anymore.

mutations was a single most worst idea for the theme of this MMO, should have kept it to melee and weapons only instead of mutations as a way to put magic in to this MMO.

I had the opportunity to check this out a few weeks back, and it is a disaster currently.

Should be interesting to see the negative feedback pile in if they are going to go to Open Beta on the 11th, I'll never understand why developers think pushing the product out too early is a good idea.

If you are running out of business capitol to work on the project, then take another loan or find more financing any way you possibly can, because pushing the product out early does nothing but make all the money the company has previously spent a complete waste - if your product isn't ready, you don't show it off and then expect people to pay for it, just because you need the cash to continue.

Plenty of ways to go about it without dooming your project right off the bat due to poor financial planning and rushed sales/marketing attempts.

Can you please give us more details on your expert finance course of action for this company to obtain more funding?  Do you honestly think the world of finance is that straight forward? You give the impression you're somebody whose only ever been given money, never been out in the real world and earned it to pay your own bills and put roof over your head, still at home with mom and dad by any chance?

SWG going shrink in to a very very small MMO community come next year! SOE claims Biowares Star Wars MMO doesn't compete with SWG as they do different things, yet all the changes SOE has done to SWG since NGE is to make it more appealing to the young teenagers, Bioware MMO will attract these too, SWG lost a huge part of it's mature community when the NGE hit, the players they've picked up since then has very much been the young wow kiddie crowed who'll all head off to Biowares MMO leaving SWG very very empty.

WAR is a fitting MMO for Mac users, it's shallow , very linear and simple, just as Mac users like things.

No its not a sandbox game, it's still guides you through narratives from sector to sector. It's really a Fallout theme park themed MMO at this point in time, it can be turned in to a more sandbox game, the foundation is there, just not really used.

That is a very shallow test, I know Tom's Hardware tests the best but they need to test the worst as well when analyzing a new OS. Windows 7 is crazy stable compared to Vista and can operate on half the hardware. We have 7 deployed in classrooms with 32 MB Geforce 2 graphics cards and 256 MB's of RAM on 1.6 Ghz P4's.

Vista takes a dump on those machines and runs away laughing its head off. The base of Windows 7 is incredibly improved over Vista. While higher end machines may not be able to really make a noticable difference I can guarantee you beyond a shadow of a doubt that Windows 7 will kick Vista all over the place when it comes to performance on lower end machines - the machines Microsoft should have and now are more worried about. Gamers may have high end machines, but anyone that knows someone who isn't computer savvy can easily see that gaming machines are not the norm.

Also don't forget why it's so friendly on older hardware as Windows 7 has been developed for the netbook market in mind which uses the Atom CPU that's about as powerufl as CPU's were 5 years ago but produces a lot less heat thus allowing the small netbooks.

After the negative reactions that got earlier this year from the video releases showing tunnels in a asteroid as some kind of Space dungeon and a big boss mob fight inside started many to question if they're making a space MMO or WOW in space, now they're trying to back peddle and go down another route to win favour.

What people are really looking for in a space MMO is one that captures the magic of the legendary Wing commander and Privateer series by Origin, fortunately for us there is such a MMO in development that's doing just that called Black Prophecy, go check out all the videos for it in the link below, then go watch all the available Jump Gate videos and tell me what you think looks better? It's clear to me at least Black Prophecy just looks so much better, you get a  cockpit view, you're not just a 3rd view of your ship all the time!

Trust me it's not worth upgrading now as the next generation of Intel CPU's and Nvidia GPU's are slated for release in Jan and February next year. The reason not to go for a Intel Core i7/5 upgrade is Intel will be releasing their next generation of CPU's based on the 32nm manufacturing process, core i7's are on a 45nm, so even cooler running lower power consumption faster CPU's coming from Intel early next year, they'll also have a six core CPU on this new 32nm, I can't remember what Intel have codenamed these new CPU's in their test labs but a quick google will bring you up to speed.

Also Nvidia are releasing their new GPU early next year as well, ATI recently released their latest gfx that's direct X 11 ready for Win 7, the just pretty much upped MHz and number of stream processors besides adding dx11 capability.

Nvidia will be doing this and more with their next gen of GPU's that will also lean heavy on physics and few other features to assign tasks for the GPU to do, Win 7 brings a new feature called co processing ,basically having the GPU do other things when not in use for graphic data since GPU's are more advanced than CPU's to keep up with the demand of graphical data.

So its really worth the wait to hold back until early next year to do the next big upgrade or you'll be kicking yourself if you went corei7 as a gamer this year as next gen set up will be a lot faster, not marginally faster which the core i7/5 are over Core 2 Due equivalent

I want this MMO! I've been looking for a new MMO for so long,  MMO of this IP I've dreamed about for years!

Hmmmmmmm, Borderlands or the next big RPG from Bioware that's the spiritual successor the the Baldurs Gate RPG series? For me personally as winter sets in it's Dargon Age Origins hands down as the first game I'll play first. I really enjoy Biowares RPG's.

I may get Borderlands, but meh I'm all too excited about it, for new FPS I await Rage and Battlefield 3.

No good can come out of this game the way it's been developed, it will just result in a failed game that has no real direction, no dev team can gel and create a good game the way this game been managed and funded. Pass on the IP start again!

This debate is going too far. Accept it that it is a third-person shooter with no game rooms and a lot of people. That being said here are my thoughts.

Yes it is an MMORPG in the fact that a lot of people should be playing it. You level up. There is crafting. There are A LOT OF PEOPLE on one server.

The 'ifs' on the Non-MMO part. Combat is restricted to 12vs12 (as of right now). We can compare that to battlegrounds.

Lack of explorable world.

Oh, wait... those are  the only opinion I am hearing. Is the limit to 12vs12, and the lack of an explorable world. But to be honest is there really anymore 'exploreable' worlds in new-gen MMOs? Guildwars? Very little. WoW... okay some. WAR Very little. To be honest I do believe Global Agenda can just be considered Counter-Strike on crack. In the view that is is a F(T)PS. In the views off MMOs. I see it similar to Planet side. Planetside near its end turned into maybe 30v30 if you are lucky and no one explored because you could dropship to wherever you wanted to go.

My stand. It is close to an MMO but it is not 100% there. It is still overall a very interesting game and I want to beta test it :(

It's classed as a MMOFPS, not MMORPG.

What a waste putting that on a console, good luck CCP getting PC EVE players and console kiddies to cooperate, EVE is a pretty mature community, whilst the console community for the ground game will be very immature and unlikely to cooperate very well with the mature Pc community.
