20k is a very small # of players, trying to up subscription fees never works or isn't even considered in these types of games, I doubt it will even still be around in a couple years |

They have 9 million subscribers, they're not the least bit worried about where you "think" the monies going, or if "enough" of it goes into into expansions. PuhLease. They made a killing and are, of coarse, looking at future projects.

This is a very well known site with tons of input, any game thats serious about what players think about mmorpgs, should pay attention. This tunnel vision theory about its not on their site, so why should there be a response is rediculous. After all this site promotes and advertises this game, and makes or breaks whether or not some people play those games or not, if they want to avoid that, well then, nothin less than players avoiding that game can be expected. Especially a struggling MMorpg, This is the place they go after leaving most games they arent happy with... what a better place to come for information why.

I also tried this game out, played to around lvl 30, and found it extremely easy to lose interest. It really didn't bring anything to the table except boredom and as you mentioned, a frustrating crafting system.

Dungeons & Dragons Online: Module 6 Screens

Honestly, i keep checkin this game from time to time after playing during its release and leaving, hoping it eventually offer gamers what they expected from a game that took D & D as its title. After these less than impressive screen shots, which don't really show anything, and the graphics are really less than impressive on these, I may finally give up on it. I mean after all, aren't these supposed to draw players to the game? I can't conceivably see how they would.

As much as i like these super 3d games, I used to have alot of fun playing MuD games as well, i.e Federation, Gemstone's etc. This site used to list Muds long time ago, Isnt there a list or somethin of decent Mud games out there now? somewhere? |
