Well 10 days in to the game and i am already bored. Content is the same as when you are leveling up and super recycled. This game hasn't got enough depth and would see it more as a multiplayer game then a mmo.

I got a lifetime for this game and enjoy on and off.

One thing thats just makes me quit all the time.

I can answer this! We get in to the draenei space ship and go conquer new planets with pew pew lazer beams!

Only worry i have at the moment for the game is that the combat in the videos looks really slow. Like LOTRO slow.

Even Blizzard admit they screwed up in the PVP department of the game. They said they felt that they forced players to be in arena to be competitive in any sort of PVP and BGs were just an afterthought to get people the honor required for accesories.

With that being said with cata they tried to make BG team system, arena system and world PVP system is place so you can pick and choose what you prefer and get gear throug hthis way which in my opinion is the best move they made. My favorite system was the old Vanilla WoW system of ranks in horde and Alliance and actually working hard towards Grand Marshal and High Warlord. When you saw someone with this title you had respect for them for the amount of time and effort that went in to what they achieved. Nowadays you see a gladiator you think wow RMP group grats for having a over powered class in a over powered make up.

APB sub is interesting. I most probaly will be going for monthly sub as i am hardcore gamer and probaly will rack hours like no ones business.

Give arena a fair chance if you want to get anything that feels semi-significant from WoW pvp.

I'm not a fan boy of vanilla it has it flaws, combat was super quick and highly dependent on who had the best raid gear which was sorted with resilience to prolong battles. However to point i am trying to make is that world PVP is non existant even on PVP servers and kindly kills the whole idea of the concept. 

However this being said cataclysm is set to bring the PVP back to the world and will truly be horde verses Alliance again.

Arena is more of small groups working to get gear with no impact on the Horde or Alliance or even the world around you. 

TBH with the RAM and processor you got i wouldn't even bother with a new motherboard. It's old tech and you just have to upgrade it again for DDR3. IDE cabling is old and died out as well with most componets being SATA now. I would just keep saving till you have enough to upgrade your ram to DDR3, mother board and processor. SATA DVD players are pretty cheap to pick up as well. Also with your processor at the moment you are bottle Necking your graphics card.

I love PVP myself but WoW pvp ain't all that and is heavily gear dependent. If you don't have resilience you're screwed. PVP back on vanila was fun running in to other and fighting. Nowadays you barely run in to the other side in pvp servers. 

For PVP i reccomend a couple. One of them being AoC. PVP was intense on the PVP servers. Able to attack anyone and everyone was thrilling and fun. My m8s used to drop me from group and try to gank me or i would sneak up on them and ambush them for fun.

Another great game for PVP is Warhammer. Although i think the population is greatly diminished and find the PVP spread out too thinly in the game.

Aion's PVP was a lot of fun as well but you have to get used to the Eastern style of play. I found it too grindy to full enjoy this game. not sure if it has changed much though.

I just don't see why people are saying this ruins the MMO market since obviously it seemsed to work in this instance. THey offered a fluff item mount and people bought it.

Seriously? Everyone talks about how WoW is not original and used all its ideas form different MMOs. So yes they opened a cash store with fluff items like so many other MMOS have and yet becasue its WoW doing it everyone is suddenly up at arms.

A 10 man ICC takes 1 hr or less to do just the first wing. it's not even a time dump anymore.

All i am getting from this, is that " i am too lazy to find a raiding guild and i will only stay if Blizzard give me my welfare epics quicker..."

So i am in open beta and played around as  a tactical officer but then i wanted to try something new so i made a new character with the "class" engineering officer. So i put points in engineering hoping to start off with a different type of ship more engineering capable but end up in the same starting ship. Do classes you choose at the beginning make any difference and do each class (engineer, science, tactical) get specific ships that the others cannot operate. Special moves etc?

Champions online was not finished either but i was pleasently suprised at the speed and frequency they patched and added content.
