Thanks Crabdog, what you have written has given me insight into this game and its unique features. i will definitely try it out. I just don't like the malaysian part...

Firstly, i just want to say that never ever even consider playing this game, it is horrible. Read on to find out why.

I Just went through the list of the games a few days ago and saw a game that i have missed out, Astonia III. The rating 6.3 looked reasonable and I became excited as maybe this was a game that would not disappoint me. But when i clicked the link, i was already disgusted when i saw the banner on top. I was like ok lets go to their homepage. I went in and created an account. Browsing through the screenshots made me even more put-off than i already am. After downloading it, i tried the game out. The words were way to small for me, the graphics were terrible and overall, i felt like i was playing a 1970s game. The navigation was pathetic and the first quest i did was already boring. The idea of torches is seriously a useless idea. The idea of typing to initiate a trade is also just a waste of time. I just can't seem to find any pros about this game. Opinions of people who used to play this game would be appreciated.

When most of you read the title, you may be thinking, what the hell am i talking about? Let me answer that question.

Pros: Let me begin by talking about the pros of this game. The grind is down to a minimum, and the community is friendly. Whenever i need help, people are always eager to give me advice that i need. The graphics are not that awesome, but the are average and atleast it is possible to differentiate the monsters. There is a great deal of variety in this game as you can choose from different classes, skills etc.

Cons: Not many cons. The most confusing thing i find about this game is the leveling system. I was confused as to the amount of exp needed to level each time and the lvl added together. Eventually, i managed to figure it out, but it took quite some time.

To me, the Pros far outweigh the cons. If you are willing to forgive some of the flaws, this game is great for you

I have to say that the graphics are indeed good. The flashy skill animation has mostly been what kept me hooked so far. I find that the quests do not have a wide variety, but the other interesting thing is the speed at which you can level with quests. However, the grind is catching up to me and i'm getting bored of this game. Hope something is done about it

I find the community quite good, as people are always willing to help me. But the graphics definitely need an update. It so old and outdated!

After playing flyff for 30 minutess, i made up my mind that it was not suitable for my age. Look at the graphics, the players and monsters. They are all geared towards being appealing to the eyes for young children. What do you guys/gals think?

Pretty much agree on what you say. Repeatedly killing the same thing over and over again, going to buy pots, spam skill button again. This is the main reason i quit. Maybe other people have different opinions though.

But what changed your mind about this game? Maybe it will give me a new incentive to start playing it again. I feel that the developers also have a part to play in what i consider a failure.

I just recently downloaded this game and was looking forward to it, after all the glittering reviews i have read of it etc. But, when i open the game, it says connecting to patch server, then it says that connection to patch server failed. I tried running it in compatibility mode, as an administrator and even reinstalled it but nothing seems to work. Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

After playing Anarchy Online for 1 week, i got bored of it. The irritating trade function, the bad graphics, the poor movement and the gameplay has driven me away. I know some people also feel this way about this game, while others strongly contradict my post. Feel free to post your thoughts.

Well, good job then. However, there are still many aspects of this game to be improved on, hope it gets better as time passes

Well, having played for 2 day, i find that Eudemons is fun because of its variety. The amount of eudemons available to you and you only being ablt to summon a certain limited number gives you many choices and combinations! Hope paladin comes out soon. 

Yes i do have to agree that it is indeed a pking game. At the start, you may find that this game lacks modern graphics and that the gameplay is boring. When i first started playing, it looked definitely like a grind game to me. However, i found the variety this game has to offer with its Eudemons, armour, weapons and classes. I find that pking is a crucial factor of this game and it is pking that has sustained the game up to now. But i do not agree on the getting pked over and over again. The community has been quite nice to me when i just started out and i've made many friends thus far.
