Have you ever felt heroic fighting off lots of NPCs?

I've felt heroic fighting tons of NPCs in City of Heroes quite often. Either jumping into a swarm of minions or battling waves of elite soldiers. I'm hoping TOR can capture the fun of having your army of heroes & villains fighting their way forward over the alien ship against hordes of purples (NPCs a much higher level than you) in the Rikti Crash Site.

The city in City of Heroes is Paragon City, not Liberty City. Or the Rogue Isles for City of Villains.
Removing Healers from MMORPG: Good or bad?

I wouldn't remove healers for the sake of removing healers, particularly if the theme calls for it (in D&D-style fantasy, clerics and the like are an important thematic aspect and so would be missed). But from a game mechanics point of view you could do it. City of Heroes/Villains comes close to this. While there are healing power sets, they aren't required and most teams can do just fine without them. Damage mitigation comes from buffs and debuffs.
Returning to WoW its been fun but i wish there was the option to play on an adult server because the game seams to be inundated with rude children .

I think an adult only server would be a great idea. Now I don't think this would solve all problems (as documented elsewhere, adults are perfectly capable of being rude, obnoxious, and immature), but I do think it would help.
As a brief business case, in order to access the 18+ servers you'd need to upgrade your account using a third party age verification system. This cost would be covered by a nominal monthly fee (say, $1 a month).
Note you wouldn't be able to change the rating easily since every country has different laws about what's acceptable at a certain age (and the logistics of having a different rating per server would be annoying), and it wouldn't prevent a parent giving their kid access, but it would help.
I think people would pay a buck or two extra for the ability to play an adult-only server.

Then those healers have some learnin' to do :-)
I played a Shaman in WAR and agree with some of the above that cooperation is required between tanks, healers, and DPS. Healers should be at max range if possible (which it is not always!), but will still need help from tanks and DPS for when they get lion-pulled or when a witch hunter or two pops up to kill them.
One thing I agree with is that, at least for Shammies (and probably arch mages), DPSing is pointless unless everyone is already healed up. While yes you could do damage 5 times and then get off one super mega heal, it is easier, more efficient, and more effective to simply use gthat time to fire off 5 heals instead. I was most useful when healbotting with 0 DPS. Maybe they've changed/fixed it since, though, as it's been several months since I played WAR.
Get a big warband together in T4 and people'll start healing much better, don't worry.
Note that some classes, such as Warrior Priests, actually do benefit from dealing damage and then healing.
Perhaps try City of Heroes/City of Villains?
It has huge huge customization and you will be a unique snowflake. Perhaps The Amazing Unique Snowflake, with ice powers?
For immersion, try Virtue, the unofficial RP server.
It is a 3D game.
Combat is entertaining (this is of course subjective).
The world (well, city) is large but there is not much exploring to do in the traditional sense, so I cannot recommend CoX based on that. With super speed and flight exploring would be too easy to be an adventure.
CoX is not dead.
CoX is enjoyable at lower levels. Indeed, it tends to favour players who reroll lots of alts (though this is not necessarily a good thing).
I don't know what the status of free trials is for it. I notice you mentioned PvP, but note that CoX's PvP is quite lacking.
