I have been a hardcore sci-fi addict (whether it be Star Wars, a Trekkie, a Cap Trooper, or a Gou'ald, you name it.)

So, the game is crap?

How would you react if i say "World of Warcraft stink to f*cking high jinks!"?

Not good, right?

EVE Online is created to those gamers who are more MATURE and PATIENT. If you are not patient and mature ENOUGH, then play WoW (or Lineage 2 or any cheesy fantasy-based RPGs) for Chrissakes.

As for the "seniority" issue, what's the difference? It is clear as a day blue sky that older (or Beta) players have the advantage, whether it be in-game or in REAL LIFE.

So, if you are not interested in sci-fi, then please, do not bad-mouth sci-fi games, comprende?

That is the European/American side of the coin.

You might want to check out RFO here in the Philippines. Heck! Too many dang players that I always experience lag during Chip Wars!

P.S. Still waiting for the ultimate sci-fi MMORPG...and I'm not talking about EVE Online.

Go to RFO-Philippines, Nexus server and you'll see Bellato the only hardcore race. They'll even sacrifice their MAU's just for the heck of it not unlike other races that usually having second thoughts of "diving in" the Chip War.

In terms of population, all three races tie (if there were discrepancies, give it a 2-5% differential).

BUT, I'm waiting for the ULTIMATE Sci-Fi MMORPG!!!

I hate to say it there is ZERO work involved in gaining skills in EVE.  You hit a button and a timer goes off and you log out and you dont do any work or anything.  I hated that system and its one reason one HUGE reason I dont play EVE as all skills are required by NOT playing the game and paying them money and logging out.  Its probably one of the biggest problems I see with EVE along with "how can we keep our players paying forever" and the fact that its impossible to catch up to a year 1 vet because the entire thing is simply based on time you have spent paying them money.   I hate that design and it means that playing fields can never been equal ever.  Truly their training system sucks big time lol.. arggh

What's the sense of playing a game when you're gaining skills even WHEN NOT ONLINE??? Then the game should be renamed Eve OFFLINE!!!

Before I continue to litter this space with letters, i'm advising evreryone that all of us are entitled to free speech (not unless I woke up in the middle of North Korea, that would be a kick!)

So, here goes...

1. The graphics sucks.

2. SOE's EULA needs revision (big time!)

3. BUT, the gameplay is promising...

P.S. I've tried the Trial version and I'm satisfied. Too bad the graphics really sucked.

GET A GRIP!

WoW is a hardcore PVP game (what the hell do I expect??). But I do not want others to PK me at no reason at all...Besides, I'm not really a hardcore PVP gamer.

GuildWars, The Lord of the Rings, etc. all share the same GENRE...M E D I E V A L. I have grown tired with the genre, so time to move on to sci-fi.
