If I recall there is already a post on this topic confirming it won't happen anytime soon if ever....reasons are outlined in the article itself. "lack of a keyboard and mouse holding back any console renditions of World of WarCraft" |

First...it's worth the trial just to check it out rather than just take the word of some disgruntled people responding here. Not sure why there are so many sore spots contending the community is noobs and '10-12 year old...not my experience and I have played on at least 5 different servers. Originally posted by cyann

Honestly I only scanned trhu this link starting with the OP. Didn't really read ALL the posts cause they are basically the same with a 'few' that will stand out as useful information. My take on GRINDING? It is what YOU make it............ Any MMO I have played, hell anything at all that I have done or do now, I can make a GRIND. I choose not to and you can too. There are plenty of things to do in MMOs than GRINDING.

Bottom line it will vary from server to server. I have characters on several different servers mostly PvE but a couple on PvP also. I find the childish immature play is about the same. It's not accurate to definitely say one is more childish than the other. My very first character was a NE female Hunter on Stormrage. I will never forget the first time I ventured out far from a city solo exploring. I was maybe lvl 20ish and encountered 3 Horde players lvl 40+. They came up and challenged me to duel, taunted, with /chicken AND making sexual gestured for 10 minutes or more. I just sat down and waited til they finally left. Several minutes later the appeared again and it statrted all over. I logged for the night.... After TBC I wanted to try a Blood Elf. As sson as I left the training grounds I was astonished at the continuous general chat dissing Alliance players as being Stupid and Immature.... My experience has been that Horde appear more confrontational, which I consider Juvenile, but there are good people that play both sides. You make it the game what it is yourself, just like Real Life. Only reason I posted to this thread is because I feel it was not necessary to perpetuate something that is not that important in the first place. |

OP....check the profiles of the responders telling you 'nothing has changed'...teen gurus of today's 'next generatin of leaders'. OP, you need to realize their perspective is far removed from yours. This is a generation where the adage "actions speak louder than words" has been rephrased for their convinience where "Words" are more important than actions! This is one of the sadest things about the not ready to vote age group of today's society. You are better off to just up and pop someone than call them an SOB because they will find a way to sue you or accuse you of being wrong to cover their own shallow images. This is the ME generation and they somehow have gotten the idea that anything and everything is fair game. And think it's funny... The best part is, for those of us that have actually 'been ther done that', KNOW they have a RUDE, and deserved. awakening if they ever move into the the real world of personal responsibility. OP, let it go. You cannot change it, only they can. LMAO...EVERYONE has a day of reckoning...sooner or later.

Originally posted by Ashen_Ghost As I indicated before, do as you choose, but you have just confirmed my point. If you allow others to 'share' your account, realistcally there is no reason to get upset 'if' someone hacks your account or youget banned from the game. I play many MMOs and have a stash of trial Keys to several, this is what I give to my 'friends' if they want to play...saves me any negative outcomes with those I prefer to remain 'friends' with. |

hmm, is there a way to give my friend a key to my house but only let him watch TV or play the sterio and of course use the bathroom but he can't use the kitchen especially the frig or anyof the 'goodoes' I have stashed for my sweet tooth. No, it's not practical to try and 'bend' the tules to accomodate otheres and yet keep the most precious things secure. And why should it be? In the examples here you are only inviting corruption........ With MMOs having 100s of thousans of accounts to maintain and monitor. Do you really find it that difficult to understand why there are certain 'rules' in place? Go on vacation and leave your house unlocked and tell several people.... My 2cents...do what you choose but don't be soar when something goes wrong. |

Regarding your account creation issues....not sure why you would solicite a stranger to make an account for you when you can contact that games Support link which is more than likely on their Website. On your desciption of areanas and a world to explore with NPC to fight,,,the options are numerous ranging from this sites hate for WoW areana play to CoH to AO to name 3 with established areana combat AND the NPC roaming throughout the landsacape in each, each having it's own somewhat personality. Read trhu some of the specific game forums on this site to get a better description from experienced players of each. |
