Well it really doesnt have anything to do with anything. I cant prove it at all either, however if you think about it...its probably true lol. Id rather be at the right hand of the devil then in her path as it were |

Hey Everyone,
As in my last thread, this is just for fun to laugh at ourselves for past discussions or posts. In the end we are all gamers and should come together in hopes that one day we will get a truely revolutionary MMORPG. 1) You say leveling 1 - 10 really isnt that bad 2) You say you cant judge Aion until level "25" 3) You feel the need to dis-credit anyone that doesnt like Aion, just because 4) You pre-order for your entire family, even though 90% of them think NCsoft is a subsidiary of Microsoft 5) You make a "You know your an Aion Troll when... thread" 6) You think Aion will kill WOW 7) You think Aion has little to no problems 8) You say the game is not linear 9) You think only 1 starting location per race is "not a bad thing" or "ok" 10) You feel that Aion's gameplay is revolutionary 11) You feel that flying is the best thing ever introduced to MMORPG's 12) You feel that you don't need mounts 13) You think that Aion has the best community 14) You think WOW players have a low IQ 15) You think WOW is full of kids, yet just got done purchasing a copy for your son 16) You get defensive when someone says the game is "ok" 17) You bought two copies to power level yourself P.S."Every Male gamer at some point has been humiliated by a female gamer, this is truth. I just want to thank everyone for posting and continuing my initial post. I apologize for not being gramatically correct or having poor spelling, however I just dont care personally about it. You are all welcome to continue the list, I am going to start a new thread reflecting the opposite to be fair to those that do not care for Aion as much. P.S. This isnt specific to NA servers, you can post and vote in general. This was just to get an idea of where everyone was right before launch. Im gathering most people that voted for a specific class are still on the fence. Im finding it very difficult to choose out of the 8 possible classes. They are very diverse in what they can do end game, and the stigma abilities are making it even harder to choose. |

Thanks for everyone who is posting your thoughts on the poll/classes. Its too bad not alot of people are checking out the SM, its a fun class from what ive seen. Even if dots arent stackable now, im sure it will be looked into later. Even if dots arent there SM's still have DD spells they can utilize...lets also not forget the pet buff DP spell? Their pets become = in power to an elite mob. Ofcourse this is for a limited time...but for that time the DPS just explodes. It will be interesting to see how the SM pans out end game. I think they will be more used in PVP then PVE. |

Hey, I wanted to start this thread in light of all the recent attention good and bad Aion has been recieving to pass the time until launch. This list is for fun and some good laughs and in no way should anyone think or feel its directed towards them. Your welcome to add to it.
You know your a Aion troll when....
1) You have to come onto forums and complain about Aion for no reason. 2) You have to change your identity and insult Aion in secret 3) You pretend to like Aion 1 minute, and then find a stupid reason not to like it later 4) You like to post reviews and only list the cons 5) You think Aion is bad & post numbers and statements with no sources 6) You claim no underwater levels are game breaking 7) You post reviews without playing or doing research 8) You decide not to play because your friends said it was bad 9) You feel you need to constantly remind everyone how much you think wow is better 10) You feel that pvpve actually stands for forced pvp 11) You think no pvp from level 1 reflects a bad game, then go on to say how bad warhammer is. 12) You decide to quote xfire numbers for everything 13) You feel that subscription numbers = fun factor 14) You feel its an asian grinder from asia land 15) You feel its L2 with wings 16) You think its a wow clone 17) You think its L2 with wings and a wow clone 18) You think Aion offers no customization whatsoever 19) You think it looks and feels like (Enter Asian Game Here) 20) You think this list describes you moraly as a player 21) You read this list and take it seriously |

I really wanted to make a sorcerer however I may end up with a Spirit Master. I dont want to start out as 1 of the most popular classes in the game. Sorcerers clerics and rangers seem to be the most popular so far...im surprised sins and gladiators arent getting more love. |

You may be right, the ranger is the more difficult class of all possible choices. I liked its difficulty personaly, It reminded me of a mix between a wow hunter and a mage without a pet. Ofcourse I know they have traps as well, I am not a fan that their traps costs reagents though, its one of my gripes with the game. I also wished they would remove the requirement of arrows, or at least basic arrows. |

I was curious what everyone was planning on starting for Aions launch. I understand there are a few older threads about this, however seeing as launch is less then a week away I am curious what everyone has decided on. Ofcourse if any of you have class specific questions your welcome to post them here as well. I will try to answer anything I know and I am sure other members of the Aion community would be happy to help. If you are not sure whether or not you are eligible, simply log in to your NCsoft Master Account to verify that your game account is listed and your account type is not designated as "Beta". Starting 12:00 p.m. PDT (more) on September 18, 2009, eligible players will be able to start their game clients and log in to create a total of two characters ahead of everyone else. You can name and create these two characters through the standard character creator and be ready to play with these characters right when the game Head Start Program begins (but not beforehand). Preselection will end 9:00 a.m. PDT on September 20, 2009 (more). Don't miss this great opportunity to claim your character's name before anyone else does. I think at least imho that Aion is worthy of a $14,99 fee. I played LOTRO and I think it is a very nice looking game, good game design concepts...how ever the combat and the fun value in the game was not at all my cup of tea. Besides I have already read the books and watched the movie, I want something new. I dont want to pay Turbine $10 a month to re-live LOTRO everyday...especially when the gameplay is lacking and they arent even staying with the lore like they are supposed to. (Lore-master or that new mage class anyone?) |

Another one that I'm not too fond of is Mortal Online. You might like it but it hasn't interested me at all.
dont get me wrong, I enjoyed AOC but I couldnt get into it when it was finally fixed. The game world was so empty playing as a character fresh out of Tortage that it felt like i was playing a single player Witcher spin off. Im more mad at FC because I pre-ordered the game and was very excited for alot of stuff they offered. Mortal Online remidns me too much of Darkfall, which I do not like 1 bit. I really hope Aion pulls through or I will have no choice but to return to wow, and that is a fate i want to avoid. |

Unfortunately if you dont try to limit yourself you wont want to play the game anymore. That is a major issue with open beta if not dont correctly. Or in this case closed beta. Now... the only reason I am buying this game is because I tested the CB and it fits my playstyles as a gamer. I suggest anyone that possibly has altism stay away from playing more then 1 character to about 20 or so to get an idea of the game. |

As far as the Secret World is concerned, I have lost faith in all things FC. They have proven with almost every release that they arent a quality company. I wonder if Blade & Soul will do any good, it looks very interesting. |
