They haven't released SP3 yet, cause they still need to fix some errors, but you can download the current SP3 from other sites but they've still got errors.

Hope they've got a low month cost / none at all.

There's alot that isn't and are the same, but I really don't know which one to suggest.

I'm going to try AoC this week, and I think I will leave Spellborn.

Well, I must agree with you. This game is/was very addicting. My opinion about it is that it isn't the grapic in this game that does the thing. It is the game plan, you do the most simplest things, like doing some quests and after that you will grind, grind and repetley grind again. Maybe some PQ's will do the thing and soon you will realize that you are addicted. And if you aren't grinding, grinding and grinding you are probably in the free market buying things and then sell them for a higher price. And you thing that spending $60 is much, then I must say that I've played this game since the Beta and I spent almost $200.

Most of the "Betas" are just for testing buggs and unknown errors.

As the way you see the Betas of is wrong, since all games aren't betas, they are just upgrading/patching their game regulary.

And after a beta they wipe the accounts and when they release the game they shouldn't wipe them again. You can also call a Beta something that you just testing the game. Beta is a process in a software creation where selected individuals test the program or game for defects.

Yeah, but the thing is that they were announcing that they wouldn't take any more registration except from US, or at least they shouldn't be able to play for example Maplestory(you could still play on your old account that was made before) And I've got a old account but still it doesn't work. But whatever they've probably made it only for US.

It really sucks cause I just downloaded this game for no reason now, since they didn't state it obvious on the site. Fail by Nexon.

Well, I downloaded this game and when I'm trying to log on i get some server error ("not a service area")

Does that mean that those crappy nexon mean that it is just for US?, cause I've got a nexon account before they got that "rule". And sometimes when I open my game I get some kind of korean error

I mean wtf?, and I can't find any support for this either, I've searched the site for this.

Don't spread rumors about the game when you aren't 100% that the game affect your computer to crash(or whatever it did(blue screen of death'ed).) Since there are alot of other people playing the game that haven't got BSOD, that means that the game aren't 100% a virus. And the problem might be with directx 10.

What is he talking about?, if the game is good in general or is he talking about something ingame?

So, MULTIPLAYER, why shouldn't you able to solo a MMOPRG?, Just cause it's a multiplayer game, you shoulnd't have to do all the tasks with a friend just cause it's a MMORPG. I know many games that you got quests that you do alone, and that is one way of "soloing" a game. The game just supports multiplayer so more then one person can play at the same time. Of course you can play with friends that is just a feature that is really funny to be in a party.

People can solo a game just to catch up to a friends level or they maybe are some kind of bet like who will get to highest level this week, they'd rather prefer to solo the game then cause it will not take so long time in difference from slow leveling parties.

Yeah, they really messed the game up before the release and lost alot of players. A few weeks before the release they announced that there would be a subscribe option, and that almost destroyed the entier "free" play feature.

And after that, they released a limited number of "lifetime subscribtions" that some people bought, and they made a misstake. I think the price for a life time was 100 bucks or something. Most of the ones that bought it doesn't play the game anymore since they spent alot of money on the "extra" features that they would get as a subscriber, but seriously, the subscribe features wasn't that good.
They got access to some random places, able to equip some other things and play hardcore. But ye, that's only my opinion/thoughts about why there aren't so many people playing this game. Actually I must say I enjoyed the first month of playing it, but they had a screwed up party system.

Heh, you think it's expesive to buy saftey charm and some x2 cards(btw, just a suggestion, do not buy saftey charms, try to play without them. Just buy alot of potions and stay to PQs.) Cause I know some friends of mine spending up to 50 bucks daily on gachapon, they are wasting their money ;).

Cab, or w.e. Actually I'd prefer "teleport rocks" something cool, like a stone or something that gloves not just a original cab from real life, since this is a "fantasy/manga" genre of a MMO game.

I'd buy your comment that is "that it doesn't" fit, yea, it doesn't and they should change it.

I did play it, but I quitted 1 month after the release.

Kinda got boring and not many was playing it.

I actually lol'ed when I saw the topic's name.
It's true, "Maplestory is just a game that will eventually sucker even the most respecting of people into wasting their PARENTS' hard earned money on a "Free" game."
